I just caught up on Corrie and I gotta say I really like Todd and Billy together. I think they have great chemistry. Also, Billy actually makes Todd a better person. He has always been kinda a jerk, manipulative and selfish, only thinking about himself, until now. He actually cares about Billy and how Billy feels. I'd love to say they bring out the best in each other, but sadly I think Todd is the one getting something good out of this. Todd has already dragged Billy into one of his lies. Whatever, I still like them together. I mean, it's different than when Todd was with Marcus. I feel like Todd and Marcus had more passion and it was fun to watch, don't get me wrong. I'm just sick of closeted storylines. Billy is fully out, even as a vicar, and it's refreshing |

I'm just so happy that Billy and Todd are finally together. It was clear that they were crazy about each other, got to love Tracy for being tired of them denying themselves and forcing them to face up to their feelings. I'm also really happy that they weren't an affair behind Sean's back. That has been done way too many times and it's better that instead of Todd pursuing Billy behind Sean's back. And Billy giving in to Todd's seduction. It was Billy who realized he had feelings and Todd realizing he had feelings right back. Neither did anything while Billy was with Sean and neither want to hurt Sean. Billy ended things with Sean before anything happened with Todd. It's a nice change of pace in soaps.

I wonder how Todd's mom Eileen is going to feel about all of this? Sean and her are very good friends and Sean lives with Todd and her. And since Sean does live with them. What about when Sean finds out, what about when Billy and Todd want to be affectionate with each other or spend the night? I'm sure like any mother she wants her son to be happy, but I don't think she will think to highly of Billy going from Sean to Todd. And if they didn't have an affair, would Billy be so lackluster to do the same thing again to Todd if he meets someone new?
I wonder if people will believe it wasn't an affair? That it was all very innocent and they were just two friends who fell for each other, ignored and denied there feelings because they hoped it would go away and didn't want anyone to get hurt. That it was eating them up inside and they couldn't deny it anymore and they didn't do anything until Billy had ended with Sean first. But they're together now and they can't or don't want to stay away from each other.

I absolutely love Todd and Billy together, they have very good chemistry and they just work. But here's the thing.. Todd is Todd. I have a feeling Todd will get "bored" by Billy, or if something doesn't go his way he will act out. I don't know, he and Billy are just very very different. Todd is more a free spirit, more spontaneous. Billy is more the settle down type, the more serious one. Todd has cheated before, so who's to say he won't again? I hope people won't think this was an affair, but Sean and Eileen might jump to that conclusion, at least at first. I mean.. it's not like they have any idea what's going on and they will probably be confused by the whole thing. I wonder if it would have been smarter if Todd was honest with Eileen since the start, I know he had Tracy to talk to, but it would have been nice for him to talk to his mother too, although maybe awkward. I guess we'll see how this will all play out, it will be interesting for sure. |

Do Todd Grimshaw and Billy Mayhew have a soap ship name yet?
Like Aaron and Robert from Emmerdale have Robron or Ste and Harry from Hollyoaks have Starry?
It would be a mixture of their names I believe, so something like Tilly or Bodd or Mayshaw? Definitely not Grimhew, that just sounds depressing and dark.

The thing is, as much as I loved his confession, it did sort of come out of the blue. I realize Dan wanted it to be a surprise, but I think it would have been more realistic, and made more sense, if we had actually seen those stage directions being played out on screen. Just my two cents. |

I wonder when they plan on telling Sean and Eileen? And then everyone else? Because the longer they wait, the worse it will be for everyone involved. Especially since Todd lives with Sean and Eileen and Eileen is Todd's mother.
The worse it will look like they're trying to hide something. Though it's probably just wanting them to enjoy it before everyone blurts in with their opinions. And wanting to wait until Sean is back so they can tell him proper.
But if they don't do it soon. Someone will find out because they catch them kissing or overhear them saying couple things to each other or just the little things that couples know about each other. I mean look how quickly Tracy picked up on the interaction between them. I remember Todd's affair with Carl, and one of their friends figured it out just by a simple absentminded touch from Karl on Todd's arm in a way two people in a relationship would interact.
I mean they light up around each other now, people are going to start to notice. And they should tell Sean to his face and make it very clear nothing happened until they were broken up.

So Todd and her have a huge row over Billy and she says all sorts. And no matter what Todd says she doesn't believe him that nothing happen, until they were both single and it was all innocent. That they fought their feelings and neither of them wanted to hurt Sean. I can see Todd being really upset that so when at work Tracy notices how upset he is and he fills her in to what happen. Being Todd's friend, Tilly supporter, and a mother herself. I could see Tracy taking it upon herself to march right over to Eileen and setting her straight without Todd asking her to. SInce she had a somewhat front row seat to what happened between the boys and she know Todd fought his feelings and tried to stay away. That nothing happened until she helped it to happen because she could see they both fancy the pants off each other as she puts it. And just wants them to both be happy. |
