(Inside Bar West Adam is being chatted up by a guy in drag while Aaron watches,amused, and then approaches them)
Aaron:(to drag queen) Sorry mate, er luv, he's eh (Aaron caresses Adam' cheek) spoken for, aren't yah?.
Drag queen: Suit yourself sweetie. (Walks away)
Adam: (Adam pushes Aaron's arm off of him in a playful manner) Gerofff! (translation = get off : What took you so long?
Aaron: I was getting served, you looked like you might be enjoying yourself!
Adam: Well, you'd think you'd know, wouldn't yah?

Aaron: I appreciated it.

Aaron: See you later then. (Jackson looks longingly at Aaron ;D)

Aaron: Why's he being such a muppet? (Jackson)
Adam: I don't know. But he is. Now please, can we just go? We'll have a pint in the Woolie when we get back!
Jackson: (approaching from behind : You still here?
Aaron: Yeah, why? It's not a problem, is it?
Jackson: It makes no odds to me.
Aaron: If you just listen for a minute please. ... I just wanted to say that, I'm sorry. And that kind of thing won't happen again.
Adam: You know what he was going through!
Jackson: What? And that makes it alright?

Aaron: I don't want to cop off with someone else. (so he does want to cop off with Jackson )
Adam: So what are you gonna do? You gonna sit here all night, and do what, exactly?
Aaron: Adam, I just want the chance - to explain.

Aaron: Well he's...
Adam: What?
Aaron: He just understands me, alright?... He gets it.
Jackson: (Jackson pots one of the balls on the pool table) Yessssss!!!!! (looks over at Adam & Aaron with a cheeky grin on his face. Aaron gives a cute,and quite shy and coy smile at Jackson ;D. Nom Thank you very much for the sort of translations of the dialogue of yesterday's episode It makes it a little easier to understand what they're saying, and after reading it, I realized just like mycatfox that I missed some of what they were actually saying..

Sometimes I just don't get what they're saying, honestly. Usually I get brit's english way more than american's, but their accent sometimes is impossible, and they even use words I've never heard before, or saying like 'he's spoken for' that I'd never understand.

Btw, the words 'lad' and 'bloke', are they 100% synonyms of 'guy'? Or are they only used in certain context?

It's the English expressions that I don't get sometimes, but watching more and more of this storyline, you'll get more used to it, and get more of what they actually saying..

And it's indeed something what's happening in every country.. In the Netherlands we have a province that's called Friesland (upper part of our country) those people have their own language.. I really can't tell you what they are saying.. it isn't a dialect anymore, just a complete other language

So they're from near Manchester? I've stayed in Lancaster for 3 weeks the other year, with an english family, and I didn't have the slightest problem getting what they said (and the woman talked an awfoul lot xD). But maybe even an hour by car of distance means different accent.

Aaron correcting to love was hilarious (and pretty darn adorable xD)

They do mean the same. But I hear the word lad used more in the sense of a 'young man who is a bit of a joker/messer', such as the phrase 'one of the lads'.

'Bloke'. I hear that more in the context of pointing out differences between men and women. E.g. Girl A: "Why doesn't he tell me he loves me?" Girl B: "He's a bloke! Men aren't wired to express their feelings."

But, there is no rule to their usage really. Those are just the contexts in which I hear them....
