(As a thought exercise, pretend they're talking about Aaron when they mention Scarlett. It brings on a whole different meaning for this paragraph!)
Aaron: You can go if you want mate. I'm not bovverd (bothered)
Adam: It's ok! Treat 'em mean and all that.
Aaron: Who you kidding. She got you right where she wants you.
Adam: So what? I like her.
Aaron: You love her.(chuckles)
Adam: (chuckles) Get lost. (rubs his hands together.It's chilly out.... "Just quit yammering and get in here" (anyone get the reference? :)

(Now imagine Adam is having an affair with Aaron behind Scarlett's back. And then read these lines )
Aaron: So did you tell her?
Adam: Tell her what?
Aaron: About me, you idiot.
Adam: No. No, not yet.But I will do. I mean, it's not like it's a secret anymore, now is it?
Aaron: (gives a resigned sigh) No. (makes a smack-of-the-lips sound)

Aaron: (real serious face) That I love him and I want to spend the rest of my life with him.(For my own purposes, I imagine that he could be talking about both Jackson AND Adam I can dream anywayz) (pause, sheep baaing in the background , Adam looks surprised, then Aaron beams at Adam with a big smile on his face) As if beating him up weren't stupid enough.(chuckles with Adam, then he sighs) Nah!I just said that (sighs) I'm sorry and... if he wanted to go out for a drink sometime then... that'd be cool. (I) Don't even know why he showed up.
Adam: (The) Same reason he came to see you at yours (Smithy Cottage). He didn't want to see you get locked away, any more than the rest of us, mate.

Aaron: Who am I kidding? He only showed up to make sure I pleaded guilty. He don't want to know (i.e. have anything to do with me)
Adam: Then get over him. Move on!
Aaron: Yeah (sighs and they both climb over the fence). ... So what do you think people are gonna say about me?
Adam: Dunno.
Aaron: Oh come on! You seen how they were with me tonight. ... They didn't know what to say to me, they're gonna (sighs...it's actually quite wheezy ) they're gonna talk different to me and... act different with me and (wheezes) be all weird round me.
Adam: (chuckles) To be honest, mate, they were like that with you before.
Aaron: I just hate people knowing.
Adam: Well they DO! SO GET OVER IT! (Wow, Adam's really quite forceful here ) Look mate! I'm not going to lie to ya, it's big news now. But it's not gonna be for long. Alright? (sighs) (At) Least it's over now. You've done it!
Aaron: What if I've made the biggest mistake of my life?
Adam: (puts his arm around Aaron's shoulder : Come on! (and ushers him back to the village)
