Well, the match that mycatfox made reference to above took place yesterday and was a huge success. The event (including the evening ball) raised over £60,000 ($98,000) for Macmillan cancer support, an absolutely fantastic amount! Kudos to Danny for taking on the responsibility to organise such a worthwhile event! And kudos too, to all the other Emmerdale and Corrie stars for their involvement. There's plenty of pics from yesterday doing the rounds now. Far too many to link to here, however I did quite like this one of the two team captains.  BTW, The final score of the match was Emmerdale 1 Coronation Street 4. |

I thought it looked like a microphone case - it also looks like that photo was snapped when Danny was about to nip out for a ciggie. ;D

Hmmm... did someone sell another story to the paper about him?
(Judging from the last time this happened with the story about him dating Kirsty, if it happened again then the story would be out in a week... )

If I had only seen the bottom two pictures, I would have thought that it wasn't Kirsty... And now I wonder... will a new contract be drawn up again in a few months for her.... or will Emmerdale let bygones be bygones...?  And I'm partly surprised... Her last tweet sounded very final, and I thought that she would never reconsider... And... the second picture.... well, a pity Aarson weren't more like that  ... I was hoping that at some point that they could have done a 'leaning on foreheads' pose like in that famous shower scene in 'Midnight Express', instead of a lacklustre kiss And then I thought, perhaps not... would the directors/writers think of something like that? ... I thought no... but then they did it for Rhona and Paddy before Rhona left for her visit to her mum's place... so... the writers/directors had that thought in their head... just not for Aarson... |

I have just read his interview with DS saying he is the Wayne Rooney of Emmerdale! A few months ago I did say I equated the two but not for the reasons he thinks. He now says he wants to go through the auditioning process and go into films etc. I also said that he might find this a little more difficult than he thinks. This is the big problem when you receive such adulation in soaps when you haven't experienced anything else.
