I really like Danny a lot. When he first started last year, the show was in Dingle overload (seriously, the Dingles are such a massive part of the show, they have tendrils into every part of town and every storyline) and Aaron was dismissed by a lot of people as just a young thug, but I think Danny gives Aaron far more layering.
The scenes I remember most from early on, sadly they aren't on Youtube, are when Aaron kept demanding that Chastity take him back to his father, after everything with the drugrunning and the Dingles having to save him from the mob. Then when they took him back home, his father said he wasn't welcome. The look on his face, he was so hurt. He then vandalized his father's office. I couldn't entirely blame the father, as Aaron was apparently making life hell for his stepmother and stepsiblings, but when you look at Aaron's face, there's always such pain under the sneers and smirks, that little moment where you see how hurt he is.
Aaron likes to lash out before he gets hurt. He did this quite often with Paddy. He was horrible to Paddy sometimes because Paddy cared so much about him.
When Aaron does feel happy, something comes along to kick him in the stomach. Chas cheating with Carl and dumping Paddy. Or earlier, when he got together with Victoria, finding out she'd only slept with him to get to Daz. I think a lot of why he slept with Victoria was to prove something to himself, so that hurt even more.
There's also a lot of self-loathing, which he gets straight from his mother.
Sometimes people call Aaron a sociopath. I get that more from Carl, who has been involved in so much death (he's been involved in at least three deaths, two of them being his father and brother), uses and discards women, and just seems colder and colder each year. I wonder sometimes if Aaron sees a bit of himself in Carl and that's why he hates him so much.
I'd really like to see Aaron fall in love with Adam and see how this changes him. I actually think if there was a relationship there and Aaron let himself be happy then he'd become a much better person. If he represses himself, or if he thinks Adam has hurt him, then he will probably be a nightmare.

This backstage bit from around the time of the lorry crash has Danny Miller (and his real life accent) about halfway through.

The DS interview was excellent. Danny seems like a smart guy and obviously knows a great deal about his character.

Aaron's background and life so far
Aaron Livesy is the son of Chas Dingle and Gordon Livesy. He appeared in 2003, 2004, 2006 and since 2008. Aaron's parents, Gordon and Chas, split up when he was very young. Chas left him with his father and he was raised by him and his second wife Sandra Livesy. Aaron first appears in 2003 when he visits his mother. When he visits in 2004, Chas slaps Aaron after she catches him talking about her behind her back. Louise Appleton witnesses this and tells Gordon when he collects Aaron and tells Chas that Aaron will not visit again. However, Aaron visits again in 2006 but stays longer than expecred as he has been in contact with a person who had German measles and Sandra is pregnant. He returns to Gordon and Sandra, after telling Chas about her partner, Carl King's one night stand with Del Dingle while she, Chas, was in the Army. Aaron returned on 28 November 2008 when arrested for possession of drugs. Donna Windsor-Dingle recognises him and tells Chas who goes to the police station. He is cautioned and Chas takes him for a meal. However, he runs away. When the Dingles discover Gordon threw him out after Aaron hit Sandra, they go looking for him. They discover that he was involved with the McFarlanes, a local criminal family, and they rescue him from them. Aaron insists on going home, so Chas takes him but Gordon has packed his bags. Aaron returns with Chas, but is angry and verbally abuses her. That night, he vandalises Gordon's office, but Gordon cannot prove this and Chas gives him an alibi. After initially clashing with Victoria Sugden, they become friends and on Christmas Day, they accompany Jake Doland, Scarlett Nicholls and Daz Eden to a local lake, which has frozen over. Victoria falls in and they work together to get her out. A few weeks later, he vandalizes Tom and Rosemary King's grave, on the day of Matthew King's funeral and trashes Carl King's house. He later tells Chas that he does not want her dating Carl again, and Chas decides to tell Carl she can't be with him - reversing the decision made only days before. Later that week, Aaron convinces Belle to take the day off school and go with him to Home Farm, where the Wyldes are moving in. Aaron steals from their van, accidentally leaving Belle to take the blame. When Lisa finds out about this, she throws him out and Chas goes too, moving in with Chas's boss, Paddy Kirk, who soon catches him selling animal drugs. When Zak catches Chas and Aaron violently arguing with each other, he insists they return to the Dingles but soon are back with Paddy. Aaron starts a relationship with Victoria, and eventually loses his virginity to her. However, he dumps her when he finds out she slept with Daz. In late 2009, Aaron has his eye on Holly Barton, new tenant of Butler's Farm. After months of flirting, things seem to be looking up between the pair, but then Aaron does something that is so out of character that it shocks him to the very core, he gets close to Adam Barton, Holly's brother, and the two become best mates. On a lad's night out, the two get into a car crash that causes Aaron to cut his head and as Adam is checking it out, Aaron leans in for a kiss. Adam is horrified and pulls away but Aaron refuses to discuss it, telling Adam that he is imagining things.

What a FANTASTIC photo!!!!!
Fantastic. Can't get over it. It's Aaron all the way. Sexy but not in the often forced awkward position with the actor having an uncomfortable face expression. This is integrity. Again, this is fantastic!
Jijeebo. THANK YOU!
Why didn't they do a longer interview with him? Strange.

Is it just me or do the faces look like they're stuck on eg danny young (I guess I'm just a bit paranoid. The face doesn't match his body. )

Here's what Dominic Brunt has to say about his co-star Danny Miller in a recent interview.
Dominic Brunt has said that his Emmerdale co-star Danny Miller has award-winning potential. The actor, who plays the soap's Paddy Kirk, said that Miller's portrayal of confused teen Aaron Livesy is "brilliant" and that his 19-year-old co-star "has no idea" of his talent."He could potentially win anything. You almost want to ring everyone up and say don't give him any awards because he doesn't know how good he is and let's keep him like that," he told Metro. "He's really got his head screwed on. He's been here almost two years. He's a young lad but he still turns up with all his scripts in order, all his files, all his notes written down. He always knows his lines. He's not jaded whatsoever. That's the healthiest way to be."
I hope Danny's acting ability gets the credit it deserves at some of these awards.

So do I but unfortunately it's not normally the case James Sutton being prize example, he won loads of praise for his portrayal of John Paul McQueen in HO but no awards Whereas Chris Fountain won best actor even though his character had barely been on screen during the previous year purely because he'd done Dancing on Ice
