He's 19?  He looks older and he really is a great actor. I would not hold my breath about the awards though. Any category voted by public is a popularity vote or a test just how crazy your fans are ;D |

It's kind of interesting seeing the google trend for 'Danny Miller' The searches for his name shot up around the kiss in the December.  |

I never thought that I would see an episode as heart-wrenching and painful as Christian and Syed's tearful goodbye in Eastenders a couple of months ago, but boy was I wrong! Danny and Dominic were absolutely brilliant! Expectations were very high about this episode and they DID NOT disappoint. Like many others, I completely lost it at the end. But it was a great feeling because I LOVE stories that engage you so much that it takes you to that place and that time. The soap gods really bestowed their blessings on this one. It was beautifully written and the acting was exquisitely intense. What more can you really ask for? These days when we complain about how writing sucks on these soaps, I'm glad that someone, somewhere still gets it right. I guess now we can only hope that Aaron's story continues to be as relevant and thought-provoking as his coming out story. Being in the US I have never really heard of Emmerdale, but with writing/acting of this caliber, I am hoooked. Huge thanks for sharing these clips to the rest of us, who otherwise wouldn't have been able to be a part of it. And yes, I voted for Danny Miller for Best
Actor. His talent just astounds me.

I have vote 5 times (as I have email accounts) - I still think the voting will be close between him and EE Adam Woodyat (Ian Beale).

I can't believe that he finally has his own page on Wikipedia. In my mind he stopped being a minor character over a year ago, yet he stayed up there. I think Maisie and Nathan are still considered minor characters too aren't they? It's odd to me.
I hope Danny wins but he's really proven himself even without an award. He came into Emmerdale when many had written the show off, and were sick of the Dingles. A lot of the reaction was, "Not another Dingle!" or, "Not some chav." He's always given superb performances, from the very start of his run. He always plays all the elements of Aaron, the fear and sadness and the rage. I have already heard the usual "So and so wouldn't be praised if they weren't in a gay story," but his work was at a high enough level of quality before this story that he was given this for a reason. It took a lot to be able to pull off those scenes with Paddy. They trusted Danny and Dominic Brunt with the material for a reason.
