One of the soap mags had an interview with the soap EP's talking about what storylines are coming up for the summer.
Here are the relevant ones from ED for Aaron's story.
The Mourning after Aaron & Hazel Summer brings terrible trauma to heartbroken Hazel and Aaron, as they face the consequences of Jackson's death.
Whilst they have honoured his wish to not carry on living, others will judge the pair's actions very differently. And with the news that PQ will leave the show at Xmas, the next few months will be incredibly intense for the grieving mum.
"Whatever people think of Jackson's decision, this is only the start of Aaron and Hazel's journey - and it will change their lives. These two people are bonded in a way no one else can ever imagine...."
Love & Hate Chas An ill advised one-night stand this week is going to send confused Chas into emotional turmoil as she tries to escape her feelings for love rat, Carl.
Despite their acrimonious break-up, the depth of hatred between the former couple proves that their feelings are still strong. So, as Chas faces the worst family crisis of her life with her devastated son, Aaron, Carl's determined to find a way back into her heart...
"Chas is going to really regret sleeping with Carl. But he'll use every trick in the book to try to woo her back. If that means using the terrible trauma that Aaron is going through as a lever, he'll give it a go. Chas will do whatever she can to stop it - but no matter how hard she tries, there will always be something between them"
However, it'll be the love Chas has for her son that will dominate her summer, as she tries to be a proper parent to Aaron for the first time in his life. "This time, Chas will be there for Aaron - no matter how many times he might try to push her away. Chas has to step up to the plate and give her son the support he'll so desperately need...."
Four's a crowd Paddy The birth of Marlon and Rhona's baby, Leo, is going to spark a relationship crisis between the new mum and her partner, this Summer.
"This situation was all well and good in theory. These are three lovely people trying to do the right thing. But with Leo's birth, everything is up in the air and Paddy doesnt know what role to play"
Indeed Paddy feels left out and left behind - with his and Rhona's relationship hanging by a thread.
"As Aaron faces his problems, Paddy steps up to be his dad. Rhona will begin to wonder if Paddy is using Aaron as an excuse not to bond with the baby...."

Tues 14 Jun Meanwhile, Ashley tells Sandy and Laurel that he can't condone what Hazel and Aaron did but will arrange for another vicar to take the service. Tues 21 Jun Hazel tells Aaron that the police are releasing Jackson's body and Aaron suggests they arrange the funeral for Friday. Later, Ashley visits Hazel with a list of vicars for the service. Aaron suggests Hazel finds an apt photo of Jackson while he rings around the vicars.
Wed 22 Jun Meanwhile, dissatisfied with Hazel's choice of photo of Jackson for the funeral, Aaron tells her that he'll find a better one. As he goes through photos with Adam, he pretends that he hasn't thought about having to go to the police station tomorrow. Aaron shows Hazel his chosen photo, hiding his fear about tomorrow.
Thur 23 Jun After meeting with the vicar to talk over the funeral arrangements, Hazel assures Aaron that he doesn't have to attend the funeral if he thinks it'll be too hard. However, Aaron irritably assures her that he'll be there.
At the station, Hazel's led into an interview room and braces herself for questioning. Paddy and Chas are optimistic for Aaron when Hazel's released without a charge. However, Aaron's stunned when he's charged with murder…
8pm Meanwhile, Aaron's solicitor takes him through what to expect at the bail hearing, but he's distracted and can only think about the fact he's going to miss the funeral. At the same time, Chas turns on Hazel when she learns Aaron's been charged and demands that she leave, insisting she'll be the one to stay with her son.
Back at Victoria, Paddy comforts Chas ,who fears this may all be too much for Aaron. Hazel's devastated by Aaron's charge, while Aaron cries tears of grief and fear in his cell overnight.
Fri 24 Jun As Aaron waits to be called into the hearing, he phones Chas and Paddy and tells them that he wants them to attend the funeral rather than see him in court. Chas tells Paddy that she's going to do exactly what Aaron asks of her this time. Later, as the congregation starts to gather outside the church, Hazel is upset that Aaron can't be there and asks Joe to take his place as a pallbearer. Jerry arrives with the hearse, furious with Hazel and glad that Aaron is unable to come.
The reverend plays Jackson's message to the congregation, exonerating Hazel and Aaron and asking people to understand that they helped him out of love. Hazel's grief overwhelms her as the coffin is lowered, while Jerry walks away.
In the pub afterwards, Hazel defends herself to Jerry, Steve and Annie, while Chas tells Paddy that Aaron's been released on bail. Later, Chas is relieved to find Aaron sat beside Jackson's grave with a beer, but despairs when he tells her that he wants to be alone

This from DS
Emmerdale's series producer Stuart Blackburn has confirmed that there is a "long journey" ahead for show regular Aaron Livesy in the aftermath of his boyfriend Jackson Walsh's death.
Last week, viewers saw Jackson end his life by drinking a concoction of drugs which were given to him by Aaron (Danny Miller). Jackson had told his loved ones that he no longer wished to continue living with his spinal cord injury, which left him paralysed from the neck down.
Aaron begins to face the consequences of his actions in next week's episodes as he is charged with murder. Jackson's mother Hazel, who was also involved in the incident, is released without charge.
Discussing Aaron's future on This Morning today, Blackburn explained: "There will be a trial. It's going to be a long, long journey for Aaron. We're storylining now right up until October, November - and he's still trying to come to terms with what he's done.
"These are actions that he's taken that he's going to have a lot of remorse and regret about. And the real trial is among the village - people like Chas and Paddy who are having to step up to the mark and the after-effects of this. So there's a long way to go."
Emmerdale's assisted suicide storyline sparked a handful of complaints to the broadcasting regulator Ofcom, while spinal injuries charity Aspire branded the plot "negative, unrealistic and pretty inaccurate". Others, however, have praised the way the conclusion to Jackson's story was handled on screen.
Discussing the reaction, Blackburn commented: "All I can say from my point of view is that it's been brilliant. The one thing we knew we wanted was debate - and that's what we've got. There have been some complaints and some people aren't happy with the way we told it, and we understood that and appreciated it. But I think overall, it's gone down incredibly well and we're now sitting here having an adult debate about the issues it raised."
He continued: "I don't want to go out to offend, and we tried at every level to be as sensitive as we possibly could - and I think we achieved that."

This article from the Daily Mirror on Jackson's funeral... Second only to the baby swap story in EastEnders, the assisted suicide – or “ mercy killing” – of Jackson Walsh is one of the most controversial stories in Soapland this year. But for all the excellent qualities, from the superb acting, sensitivity and emotion, there is one element that jars. From what we knew of Jackson’s troubled life, he always seemed to have the courage, resolve and humour to overcome anything. So was he really the kind of person who’d take “ the coward’s way out” as Cain put it? Even the day before his heartbreaking death, he’d described his relationship with boyfriend Aaron as “ Butch Cassidy And The Tetraplegic Kid”. And on Friday, that same sense of humour is evident at his funeral as he speaks from beyond the grave. “ Surprise,” he declares as a video is shown of him in church. “ Bet you didn’t expect to see me today… People wonder what it’s like to be at your own funeral… I have no idea ’cos I’m not there. I’m in this box. Or that box over there to be precise.” This is undoubtedly Emmerdale’s most powerful story of the year – and one of soap’s most compelling – as Jackson is finally laid to rest in scenes that promise to be as moving as his death nearly two weeks ago. While his “ last words” are intended to absolve Aaron and mum Hazel of their part in his death, the conflict and turmoil remain. There is one man missing from his funeral, despite pledging, “ I’m not missing it. Whatever else happens, I’m gunna be there”. While Hazel is released by the police because “ no public interest would be served by them pressing charges”, Aaron is held in a prison cell. “ You evil cow!” his mum Chas hollers at Hazel. “ He’s being done for murder.” Oh dear, that was never part of Jackson’s plan. you can read the article herewww.mirror.co.uk/celebs/tv/soap-news/2011/06/18/emmerdale-jackson-s-family-and-friends-say-their-goodbyes-115875-23208739/
