Jackson admits that he had a great time on holiday but insists that nothing has changed the way he feels. Later, in a moment of frustration, Aaron loses control, forcing Hazel to intervene - and Aaron leaves in tears.

Aaron returns in despair and contacts social services, but he later relents and agrees to move in with Hazel and Jackson, terrified of letting Jackson out of his sight.

Not really sure why Pa Barton & Alex would be going to Jackson's funeral though?

There was a rumour flying around a while ago, which has never been substantiated, that Holly Barton was going to OD on drugs.

Time will tell I suppose.

When Aaron and Adam come to blows in the pub, Rhona gets caught up in the middle and goes into labour.
Adam tells Aaron that he has been sleeping with Ella and things come to a head when Moira finds out. She warns Adam to finish it or risk their family's livelihood and home. Aaron wants to tell Adam about the situation with Jackson but cannot bring himself to do it. Desperate to prove his love, Aaron suggests to Jackson that they should get married but Jackson is having none of it, and Hazel tries to persuade Aaron that they should just enjoy the time they have left together.
