After "watching" tonight's episode, I have concluded that I like Kurt and Blaine's friendship, I mean they are friends who kiss each other once every season, I wish I can have that. And glee, such a wonderful show, portraying a gay character who fails at everything he tries to accomplish. Glee and Relaciones Peligrosas is what quality television is all about, Bravo!

This whole season was an utterly unspetacular. I love Glee, don't get me wrong. I was in a preforming high shcool here in New York when dinosours roamed the earth, and even though we didn't go bursing into song every ten minutes, there was something about preforming that transfixed me. So to see a show about a glee club of talented kids is great. The writers dropped the ball several times this season.
Why did Kurt not get in? Why did Rachel get a second chance, which BTW wouldn't have happened. As a matter of fact after she blew the first 8 bars it would have been over. How did Santana not know her girl friend was flunking everything after she herself said that Brittany needed taking care of and she was going to do that? When in the hell did Puck get a make up exam? Again something that wouldn't have happened unless he was sick or otherwise had been excused from the initial exam and had to make it up. Where was it mentioned that Trouty Mouth was a junior? What the hell happened to David? I mean the boy tried to kill himself, Kurt says he'll be there to help him, and then...nothing.
Listen folks there are lose ends and then there are no ends at all. Threads got completely cut.
To say that this season was uneven is putting it kindly.
This season was a big mess. The cast got cheated epseically those who won't be returning, and worse the viewers who have grown to love this show and its characters got cheated big time.
Nothing worse then wasted talent. (I borrowed that line from a Robert DeNiro movie).

All very good questions, LadyArmand. In an odd sort of way I kind of thought this season was a bit better than the previous season (what I saw of it, anyway). Note that I'm not saying it was good . I readily admit I wasn't paying terribly close attention, but it seemed like they at least had some token attempts at storyline development and continuity. But perhaps my expectations were pretty low, after watching the previous season - which (to my recollection) had no coherence whatsoever. Maybe the most frustrating part is that there's a very good chance they won't bother to go back and explain any of these loose ends (like Kurt's rejection). Meh.

Afterelton.com posted an article about the missing Klaine scene from the last Christmas episode. A group of fans raised money for charity in order to get a copy of the script. Afterelton.com posted the relevant portion of the script, here: www.afterelton.com/tv/2012/05/glee-missing-klaine-box-scene

I'm glad that the fandom got together to raise money for any amazing charity and that charity has benefitted from FOX's chicken shit behaviour in NOT allowing Kurt and Blaine the same onscreen public display of affection as the dysfunctional couple Finn and rachel have had for the past season and a half.

Matt Bomer did an interview. He discussed his role on glee near the end of it: TVLINE | You did a guest spot on Glee during your hiatus. Was it important to you to do something drastically different from White Collar? Yeah, it was. Cooper Anderson was just such a fun role. [Co-creators] Ryan [Murphy] and Ian [Ian Brennan] and [writer] Michael Hitchcock really gave me a gift of a role. I had Eric Stoltz as a director, who’s all about getting the juice out of every scene and having the most fun possible. It was really important for me to flex different muscles and get to do comedy.
TVLINE | What was the most enjoyable part of the process: the comedy, the dancing or the singing? My master class scene because I understood so much about this guy, who was so desperate for validation from anyone. It was fun to construct this piecemeal identity he had where he parses out the things he wants to hear and believe and then commits to them with absolute conviction. Having the commitment to teach these kids that the best way to pull off a dramatic scene is to “point as much as possible” and then make that truthful was not only challenging, but incredibly fun. source: tvline.com/2012/06/19/matt-bomer-white-collar-glee-emmys-2012/

Ryan Murphy won an International Emmy Founders Award for his work on glee among other things. Quote from the article: Throughout his career, Ryan Murphy has masterfully redefined storytelling to create unprecedented atmospheres and characters that celebrate human difference, be it dark, as in Nip/Tuck, or hopeful, as in Glee,” said Paisner. “We are looking forward to recognizing his creative accomplishments, which continue the great tradition of American television as we mark the 40th Anniversary of The International Emmy Awards.” Source: www.deadline.com/2012/07/ryan-murphy-glee-international-emmy/

So, I finally watched some videos of Klaine and I got interested! Despite the lack of PDAs I think Kurt and Blaine are cute together. I instantly liked Kurt, though I still have to watch his story from the beginning.
I never really wanted to watch Glee because of the bad reviews I read here and there on the internet, plus I randomly watched 5 mins of an episode dubbed in Italian and trust me it was terrible, but I think that's because of the Italian dubbers.
But I'm willing to give the show a chance, and I'm already sure I will end up watching only the scenes with Kurt, Blaine and the few characters I will find likeable.
Any advise on which character should I avoid watching to begin with? I read that Rachel (should I call her the main female character?) and her tall boyfriend which I don't remember the name aren't as loved as the show would want them to be, so I immagine their story isn't worth watching...

Ila - I don't enjoy Rachel and Finn(her tall bf) together, but I do like to watch the entire episodes at least once before downloading the only Klaine scenes. If you have it, Glee seasons one and two are on Netflix instant watch.
