I'm just copy/pasting what I put on my facebook about last night's episode: So "Glee" returned last night and... ZZZZZZZZ. I like Matt Bomer but last night's ep pretty much featured the two characters on this show I couldn't care less about - Quinn & Blaine - complete with most of tunes being by them. =/. I had to force myself to sit still during the ep instead of flipping to "Fast Five" on HBO. Just meh meh MEH episode. I know there are Blaine fans out there but I find him blandly twee and not really a good singer. Quinn I've never liked.I really can't add more to that. I mean, just did not make cake for me as an episode. I won't be buying any of the songs from it either. --- Recap from AV Club on the ep: www.avclub.com/articles/big-brother,72137/

Quinn is love for me. To be honest, I have stopped watching the show completely (since the synchonise swimming episode) due to too much focus on Rachel/Finn crap, Santana/Kurt/Blaine overload, random characters popping up like Glee Project Trash, lotsa of unneccessary guest-stars and too many breaks in between to make me lose interest. To me, Glee has completely lost its direction and plot (if there is ever one). I just don't understand instead of utilising their regular actors (like Tina, does anyone remember she is there at all?), the show has to resort to cheap tricks like guest-stars, tribute episodes etc.
I just wish Tina got a heavier chunk and more songs to sing. She is currently the most under-rated and under-appreciated member in the club and to say she is one of the original members. And she has one of the better voices in the club.
I am just coming in to say I love the rendition of "Somebody That I Used to Know by the Anderson Brothers. Matthew Bomer sure sound good. And he is so gorgeous!!

Meh. I was only somewhat paying attention yesterday while I was doing some other things. My expectations for Glee have never been terribly high. In some ways, it kind of feels like they're trying to put more emphasis on longer-term storylines than they did last season (which is a good thing, I think). But it still feels to me like there are some gaping holes. For example, I had totally forgotten about Quinn's accident. But instead of spending much time on the immediate aftermath of that (lots of drama there), the writers apparently just decided to skip ahead weeks or months. Seems like a lost opportunity. It would've been nice to get some more background on Blaine's issues & relationship with his brother. But the conflict seemed to end just as abruptly as it was introduced. But I liked that moment, too, kevvoi.

It was so beautiful! Kurt has an amazing voice and I think he did the song justice. And Blaine was so sweet explaining everything to Kurt and how he was so afraid to lose him... very touching. Also nice to have Kurt more in front in this episode than in the background where he has been for such a long time. The guy doesn't belong there!

Not one of the best episodes, but I did get surprised by some of the things that happend: -Didn't know that they were going to show anything about domestic abuse and that was actually kind of heartbreaking... Especially the end! -I thought they were going to show more of Puck and his dad - was a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see more of them. -And we finally got some rock songs, but they sucked! I like Puck's voice and everything, but the song choices suck (imo). I guess Puck will stay in school another year, but I'm interested to see what's going to happen with Rachel (one of my least favorite characters, but I guess that they now have my interest.) I do look forward to the last couple of episodes and especially to graduation and senior prom. Anyone else?

Lea Michelle is a dynamic performer, but Rachel's story is badly written -- boring and predictable. Even my preteen daughter easily predicted what would happen at the auditions. Loved Kurt's performance, however!
That domestic violence story was really out of the blue, but quite well done. The actress who plays Bieste (can't remember her name) is one of my favorites on the show.

The story line was out of the blue. And though I think it's great that "Glee" want to tell those kind of stories, I just hate when they come out of nowhere (and how long was it since we last saw Bieste??). The writers need to work a little on their stories imo. Dot Jones (Bieste) is an amazing actress.

I loved Kurt's performance for the audition. Chris has a banging little body. I liked those gold pants.
I have to say i agree about the DA story it came out of nowhere but the shake it out song. I like when I get to hear Tina she's always pushed to the back.
I think Dot is amazing too.
Rachel is one of the most annoying characters I have ever seen but loved the Cry song she should have auditioned with that.

I also think Glee has been a big nothing with non real plots gong on. But last week's episode was really good. Even know it was out of the blue, I loved the domestic abuse story. It was so well done and the acting so good. I just don't see this last beyond next season if they don't change it up. They need less characters and more real stories.
