Loved the scene in the hallway, especially Santana confronting Karofsky. The rest of the episode ... meh.

I'm with you Nitty I loved this episode. Santana is smart and ruthless a dangerous combination. I jsut wish she could accept herself for who she is regardless of who likes her or not. Burt was brilliant. he wasnt buying any of what Dave was selling. He knew there was more to it, and I still think he wasn't to tombstone that kid for what he did to Kurt. I loved that Kurt asked to be alone with Dave to find out wha was really going on, and that he made one of hte condition for him coming back that he and Dave start a PFLAG as the school, so that Dave could educate himself. Kurt and Blaine were lovely. He hug at the end of SWOK was touching and I loved, loved that Kurt said he would never say goodbye to Blaine.

That episode was like, one of the best, honestly! Santana is just such a win in so many ways. The Lebanese thing with Brittany was honestly adorable. And her teaming up with Karofsky, it actually fits... although thinking about it now, I don't think Sam and her ever broke up? Eh, they probably figured no one cared and decided not to even waste time on that. Oh, and they finally stopped treating Emma like a joke. Even Quinn had a nice story. Although they dragged out the "Rachel, we love you, don't get a nosejob!" thing a bit, it still worked. And of course - the best parts: Eeep! Don't think I can form coherent thoughts after all that Klaine and all that sexy!Kurt. There were so many times during that episode where I wanted to be like "Oh, does it look like he's having gas pains now, Blaine?" Seriously, Kurt Hummel/Chris Colfer is flawless. Seriously, give him all the awards please. And I'm still waiting for the whole "we're official" talk from the boys, but their ridiculous closeness at the coffee shop made me squeak a little. And then of course SOWK and the whole "I'll never say goodbye to you." I flailed. Literally. Sorry for my ridiculous posts guys. Aaaand as a side note, Chris Colfer is at a Time Magazine Gala honoring people who made the top 100 list. Darren's there too supporting him (aww bestiess). Pictahhs!

^ Interesting things that happened in BTW: There was a little married!Klaine scene at the beginning. They were sitting close together at the 'Lima Bean' with some of the New Directions girls and Kurt was being adorable, saying that he was jealous about ND going to NY without him. The girls ask Kurt how they can convince him to return to their school. Blaine says that he and Kurt already discussed that and that he'd be all for it if it weren't for Karofsky. At the end of the scene, Santana says, "I've gotta gay...go!" ;D or something like that, because she was thinking about Karofsky (who she just realized is gay after he looked at Sam's ass) and her plan to get Kurt back to ND/help her win prom queen in doing so/get Brittany to dump Artie and be with her instead. Later, Santana tells Karofsky she'll out him if he doesn't agree to her plan of being each others' beards. Later, Karofsky apologizes to ND about the bullying, Santana's mouthing the words to him in the background so it really doesn't seem very sincere. I thought it was totally creepy when Karofsky said that he'd be personally apologizing to Kurt later. Later, Kurt/Burt/Karofsky/Karofsky's dad are in a meeting with the principal. Burt is his usual, awesome self; he's concerned about Kurt's safety and doesn't believe that Karofsky has changed. Everyone's on edge. Kurt asks the grownups to leave him alone with Karofsky. When they're alone, Kurt asks Karofsky what his angle is; he doesn't believe he'd just apologize for no reason. It's pretty tense. Karofsky tells him about Santana's plan. Kurt says that Karofsky needs to educate himself about all things gay. ;D *jokes...kinda* Later, most of ND meet on the steps outside of McKinley and Kurt announces that he has officially transfered. Blaine and the Pips Warblers are there and they sing Kurt his goodbye song. At the end, Blaine and Kurt hug and Kurt whispers, "I'll never say goodbye to you." *dies* Later, Kurt sang 'As If We Never Said Goodbye' while walking around his school/singing in front of New Directions. It was beautiful and powerful. Just perfect. Later, at the mall, Kurt leads a dance/flash mob to the song 'Barbara Streisand' to convince Rachel that she should't get a nose job. It's pretty funny and Kurt looks HOT. Later still, ND's sing 'Born This Way' and Kurt starts the song off/is the first one to reveal what his T-shirt says: LIKES BOYS. And once again, Kurt proves that he is no baby penguin.

Ok, Just finished watching the episode and seriously Glee were back on top form again. I really didn't like last week's episode and it was a real disappointment after Original Songs but yesterday's episode was immense. There were so many things I like about it and I think it had a great message behind it. Loved the Somewhere Only We Know scene. It showed a very proud Kurt and Blaine, I thought the hug was lovely. I knew they wouldn't kiss, couldn't go too far, eh? But the hug was a nice addition. I am just worried that I won't get my Darren Criss fix every week if Kurt is back at McKinley! Love the pics flexa!!! I thought the Dave/Kurt scene in the office was very nicely done. I don't we have ever seen Dave so vulnerable and so honest! He near enough admitted he was gay or certainly had gay feelings and that is a big step. I actually really like Dave's character and I think Max Adler is awesome. I loved the Rachel/nose storyline. I felt the same as her when I was younger until someone actually convinced me that my nose isn't that large at all!! So I could kinda relate. Didn't like the Quinn/Lucy bit, it felt really forced and completely unbelievable!!! Dalphine did you manage to see it in the end? That sucks that the telly was put on hold. On a completely separate note, I found out last night that the guys in Glee who play The Warblers, apart from Darren and Kurt, don't actually sing in the show. They pretend to sing and another group, who don't appear in the show, do the vocals. That kind of ruined it for me a bit because I really love Wes and the other guys.

This episode was fantastic! When Kurt hugged Blaine and said "I'll never say goodbye to you", I may have gotten a little overly emotional. Haha. When Kurt and Blaine cry, I cry . I do agree, though, that the Quinn thing was a little weird. I think I would have liked it better if it had looked a little more realistic. I just felt like the picture of her looked ridiculous. They could have just made her a little chubbier and given her a different nose. They didn't have to make it so drastic. But, overall, it was great Dalphine- if you don't want to wait until Sunday to watch the episode, you can download it from one of these links: www.megaupload.com/?d=90NPW89Uwww.megaupload.com/?d=P1LC8XUEwww.megaupload.com/?d=5PDTBRCM

Yeah, the group that does the back-up vocals is a legit a capella group from Tufts, the Beelzebubs. But all the actors for the Warblers are still genuinely amazing singers. Like some of them used to do back-up vocals for all the ND songs. Oh and I just realized in the episode... Karofsky was in the audience during BTW watching Kurt in all his sexy BAMF-ness. Poor boy must have been so sexually frustrated!

Personally I think the Quin thing allows the views to see why she is so hell bent on being popular. She needs to be because deep down inside she still fells like that chubby unattrative girl that people made fun of. She is way more insecure than Rachel has ever been, she was just better at hiding it because of her looks. And it also illusrates the vast difference between her and Lauren, becauwe as a fat girl, she's a bad ass who knows who she is and is unapoligetic about her weight, her looks or her take no prisoners atttude. He confidence is how she can get and keep someone like Puck and even make him feel insecure at times that he's not good enough for her. I like her.

I personally didn't agree with much of the recap by Tom& Lorenzo. In that I just think they are being way too knit/picky about the whole thing. I guess it's a case of those who cannot do- blog about those who can. With the tee shirts it wasn't about what you didn't like about yourself, it was supposed to be about what you've accepted about yourself that others may not have liked or because of certain pressured you didn't like but now you are taking ownership of. So Kurt's shirt saying "Likes Boys" is about him owning that part of himself and not only that but being proud even in the face of those who have made fun of him for it, who have picked on him for it and who have hated him for no onter reason than it. It's actually a great message to send to teenagers (not to mention more than a few adults as well) out there who watch this show. But that's just me.

I really didn't like the Quinn development because to me, there were so many instances in previous episodes that make it really hard for me to go along with this drastic change in her backstory. Just on example: When Quinn was pregnant and gaining weight, she and Mercedes had a conversation about people looking at you different for being chubby, and Quinn said something like, "I've only been like this for a few months. How have you dealt with this your whole life?" Anyways, I think the writers just tacked Quinn's new past on for the shock value and to make her more likable to the audience, but yeah, I still don't like her. To keep on topic = Klaine!

Agreed LadyArmand - I though the message at the end was really powerful and even more powerful because Santana and Dave were sitting in the audience. They haven't accepted themselves!! Woooo, so glad you got to see it Dalphine!! Chris is simply amazing, but personally I couldn't love Darren Criss any more!! I don't know why but I love the bit in Somewhere Only we Know where Darren plays the piano, he is just darn cute! Chris sung that song so well. Edit: I got my hands on the Warblers album yesterday. If you haven't got it, it is a must have! I can listen to Darren in the car, while I am jogging, while I am working in the Library at uni.... hehe!! It is definitely going to be my revision album of this year!

I finally got some time to watch it this morning. I still can't take the show too seriously, but this episode was much more enjoyable than last week's and it has a great message. Later, Karofsky apologizes to ND about the bullying, Santana's mouthing the words to him in the background so it really doesn't seem very sincere. No, the apology wasn't very sincere. It was under duress. That said, while I didn't watch some of the early Karofsky stuff, it kind of seems like he's taking tentative steps in the general direction of accepting himself. Still looks like it'll take a while, but it's a start. Blaine looked pretty upset about Kurt going back to McKinley. Kurt looked kinda conflicted. Wonder if that will (eventually) prompt Blaine to go there, too. Hmm. ;D Oh and I just realized in the episode... Karofsky was in the audience during BTW watching Kurt in all his sexy BAMF-ness. Poor boy must have been so sexually frustrated! Heh, that's a really good point. I guess I was focused on Santana's shirt. It's interesting; it's kind of a veiled admission, though of course nobody asked why her shirt said "Lebanese." I like that Santana has both the strong, kinda bitchy side, as well as the more vulnerable side. Her dynamic with Brittany is interesting to watch sometimes. It struck me that Brittany was able to get through to her. Anyway, after Kurt found out that Santana had a role in Karofsky's actions, I kept wondering whether Kurt would ask her about it (and learn the truth). But he didn't. The story around Emma was a nice move for the character. I'm kinda indifferent about Rachel's nose-job story and the Quinn/Lucy & Lauren story. I think they added to the overall message of the episode, but didn't really capture my interest.

But Glee isn't known for its consistency anyway. So as long as it's not far off, I still can accept it. But I do love Quinn, so it's ok! She is just so pretty to look at. Personally, I hope Tina will get a proper storyline soon. It's a pain to see her stuck in the back.
