Hmm, sounds like I'm missing out on some back history. No clue who Tayfun is. But it is nice to see an apparent common enemy drawing Lenny & Carsten together. Could a post-fight kiss be in their future again? All that manly adrenaline & machismo will get them all hot & bothered for each other again, showering and wiping up each other's bloody fight badges of honor.
And what is up with the spoiler pics for tomorrow's party! In particular that one pic of them all dancing/jumping??? LOL. They look like they're doing the YMCA dance! (How appropriate for Lenny. *snicker*) And yeah, that flat-screen tv didn't last long, huh? haha, Emily's gonna be pissed! Good!

Well, Tayfun is the owner of the "Spätkauf" where Emily used to work and he used to be in a gang that beat up Ayla's brother (she's a colleague of Philip, she's a physiotherapist), who is now in a wheelchair because of that.
(And I don't even have a TV right now, I know all of this just from the GZSZ website ;D)
Dane, you have a point about the post fight kiss/make-out! That would be awesome!

Oh, I kind of get it now. So Lenny & Gang are on the side of the wheelchair guy, about to fight against Tayfun, or at least his old gang. Wonder what sets all that off all of a sudden... December's going to be so good! And what a dramatic way to bring in the New Year! Ooooh, will Carsten & Lenny have their New Year's kiss at midnight together???

Me too! It's good to know the background story here. and this is a good way for Carsten/Lenny to be woven into the other characters lives.
And I'm so expecting a kiss around that time too, dane and liz! Bring it on guys, we're ready xD

Sorry, I didn't explain it clearly. The guy you see in the wheelchair in the pictures is Leon (he used to train Lenny when he started to box), but he and Tayfun are indeed enemies, because they fought over the same woman.
Could you lovecars1008 maybe post what you've found on the other message boards, I could translate it and we'll maybe understand the story better...
And I also thought about a New Year's kiss, but I didn't dare say it, because at that time it didn't seem likely.
I'm also loving that the two of them are friends again and do stuff together. We all know that being "just friends" doesn't work long, especially when there are so many feelings involved...

But in my head it went the even more cliché way that Carsten would end up at the hospital and Lenny sitting by his bed, waiting for him to wake up. (I'm just too Ollian influenced...) |

Don't like that, nope, not at all. I think this sends this very storyline over the edge, so that I don't want Cenny to happen anymore. I mean, Lenny watches while the gang beats up Carsten? And he even wanted to do it himself? SRSLY, WTF?
You can't just do that, you can't watch anyone being beaten up until he's in a coma, much less a loved one, be it as a friend or someone you're in love with. I don't see, how they could come up with a believable excuse for that. *is very displeased*
[Okay, fine, I know it's almost what happened at the very beginning of DeRo and somehow eventually I managed to forgive Deniz, but believe me, it took ages. >.<]

Warum rede ich eigentlich englisch hier? XD Ich meinte damit einfach, dass Lenny Carsten am Ende vielleicht doch noch hilft, schließlich wird er selber noch ohnmächtig, höchstwahrscheinlich weil er von der Gang ebenfalls verkloppt wird, bzw. er sich mit der Gang kloppt weil er am Ende dann doch noch ein "Herz für Carsten" hat! |

I mean, Tuner and the Scholzis are not portrayed as very bright characters, but beat their former friends up to unconsciousness is really unbelievable for me.  It would be realistic by all means, that they will teach Reimann and Lenny a lesson, but in that way. No no no, I can't imagine that. And I don't know, if I want to see that. |

Actually, even though I'm really upset about the spoilers, it goes just as we discussed it. Lenny needed a complete breakdown, something needed to happen that would open his eyes and see that the direction he's headed is totally wrong!
And, yes, we had the beating up both with DeRo and Ollian, but that's because gay-bashing is, sadly, still a current topic and happens everywhere.
Now, I really hate the gang. Seriously, they beat Carsten up, just because he's gay? That is so inacceptable!!!
And I agree, I also think that Lenny will help Carsten, since he ends up in the hospital as well...

Yup, breakdown-theory seems to be adequate. The trouble I'm having is, I think, watching while a close friend gets beaten up is something completely and utterly unexcusable. No matter what issues you have concerning your identity, no matter how scared you are, no matter how f*cked up your relationship is. YOU DON'T DO THAT!
And at the moment, I can't picture them being an item after something like that. I cling to the hope that 0zeruya0's theory might be right and Lenny tries to intervene after all. Otherwise I think Cenny as a couple just died for me.
However it would still be interesting to see where Lenny would be going individually, dealing with confusion and guilt, afterwards.
Oh, the angst.

Well, considering the fact that Lenny beat up Carsten himself, right before the kiss... He's willing to do everything to keep his reputation.
I really do think that Lenny'll intervene, why else would he lose consciousness and end up in the hospital?
Gosh, I can't believe that I'm actually defedning the whole story right now, but I do think that they'll get together. I mean, Lenny crying at Carsten's bed and being so upset that he even needs meds, that is a huge sign! He's finally realized what has become of him and that he really loves Carsten. (At least that's my interpretation...)

I think, when the story with the whore came up, the gang would be more aggressive, now they're like a funny group who do lots of stuff together. (I don't want Tuner all aggressive, damn) For Lenny's progression the whole story is quit necassary (kinda wake-up-call), altough i think they had to bring another story without the gang and Lenny watching Carsten beaten up. But i guess, we have to wait how the whole story turns out and how Lenny regret his "watching". |

Wow - this storyline certainly isn't for the faint-hearted I'm undecided about all of this - I was always certain that there would be a complete breakdown from Lenny before things would change, but I didn't expect the scriptwriters would be this brutal with it. I guess I'm kinda shocked that "the gang" goes that far - personally I'd always considered them to be more mouth than action It doesn't really explain why Lenny is rendered unconscious and I'm curious about that  - can't imagine Carsten would be able to inflict that much damage up against the whole gang. It's certainly turning out be a gay love story with an edge!!! |

The new spoilers really anguished me... man, Lenny, I know why you are behaving like this, and I know you'll come around...but at the moment I'm having a hard time with you!! Leading Carsten to the trap...  Poor Carsten! and the gang really sucks... bunch of neanderthals! I hope this is Lenny reaching the bottom, and that from now on things will improve! |

Every storyline has a point where it goes too far, in my opinion. Even it is fiction and not reality. And according to the spoilers gzsz reached this point.
