It's sad to watch Lenny sink into erratic, disorganized and hostile behavior. But, the disorganization may herald his being able to shed the tough persona he acquired after the Bund experience. One disquieting possibility however is a suicide attempt. Remember that the inability to accept homosexual yearnings is one of the most common causes of suicide in teenagers. Really depends on how much the writers want to shake our cage!

 I read the last 3 spoilers (episodes 4394/5/6, days 21, 22 and 23 Dec 2009) and it's pretty clear we'll keep seeing (and suffering) an over the top berserk Lenny even on Christmas...Really, it's getting harder to picture him in a lovably relationship with the super sweet and valorous Carsten; Lenny is one of the toughest closeted cases that I've ever seen: he's absolutely terrorized, and his frequent flashbacks and violent behavior really worry me. I keep telling myself that I must not dislike him, that there will be some sort of clever twist (I really trust the GZSZ writers) that it's gonna bring out the sweet, sensible boy  that is hidden under all that anger, the one we could barely see here and there, but we know that exists...

Okay, I don't believe that Lenny'll attempt suicide and my only reason is that they just had a suicide attempt on the show and I don't think they'll have another one so soon.  And I think all the violent behavior leads to a great break-down and I'm sure Carsten'll be there to catch him. I also think a little family time will do Lenny good. Somehow I'm remaining a complete optimist. |

Agreed. I also think he'll have a total meltdown. How Carsten will reconstruct him is still a mystery to me though. I guess we have to remember that underneath that aggressive, volatile personality there lurks an intelligent, artistic, cuddly puppy.

Lenny violent closet case persona reminds me of Ennis from Brokeback Mountain. Lenny is the wild horse that bucks anyone that tries to tame him. But Carsten is the sweet calm gentle soul through all of that.
Just like when Ennis came to Jack in the tent very scared and confused and Jack was able to put him at peace and just love him. I think Lenny will just crack and Carsten will gather him up in his arms and just love him too.

You're right Lenny is quite aggressive and hostile towards Carsten, I can't even begin to imagine how his demeanour will change towards to Carsten. I would like to see how the 'affectionate' Lenny will be. I also hope Carsten makes him work a bit after everything he's put up with.  |

And I'm kinda worried about the last one that says "Carsten finds that Lenny has changed for the worse." Oh no, Lenny... I hope we'll have nice!Lenny back soon! Well, the person who posted the pictures at the GZSZ board said that they got uploaded in the wrong order, so you have to look at them from bottom to top.
And summary of the episode: Lenny and Emily are moving and Lenny isn't allowed to take even half of his stuff, because Emily doesn't like it. Later the gang helps them move and find out that not all of the stuff is fitting in the car. Fortuntaley, Carsten passes with his car and the gang force him to help the two move. Carsten shoots angry glances at the "happy couple" and Emily murmurs that he should keep his hands of Lenny.
Little bit later, we have the awesome scene, where Lenny wipes the sweat of his face with his shirt and we get to see his great stomach. They move the stuff, Carsten carries a bag of Lenny's clothes, Tuner bumps into him and Carsten drops the bag. The shirt that Lenny gave to Carsten after their fight falls out and Carsten smells it. Also including some flashback scenes. In comes Emily and she's angry at Carsten and tells him that Lenny's not into guys, but in love with her. (seriously, no comment here...) Lenny enters the room and Carsten says "Thank you, you asshole! I have to keep my mouth shut, but you run around, telling your version of the story!" And Emily is shocked "Your version?"

Danke for the summary, lizkarita! Carsten shots angry glances at the "happy couple" and Emily murmurs that he should keep his hands of Lenny. Either someone upped her dosage of bitchy pills that morning, or she's terribly insecure about her own relationship with Lenny. I thought that was Carsten's shirt, and Lenny was returning it. That's why the line about "many happy returns/welcome back friend" when Lenny tossed him the shirt. While I love our Carsten, and all, and feel sorry for him about all the awful things he's going through with Lenny, I'm going to have to disagree with him here. Carsten hasn't exactly been quiet about it, either. He talked to Lucy about pretty much the same thing that Lenny talked about to Emily, didn't he? |

Thanks alienamy and lizkarita for the spoiler pics. Lenny gives new meaning to the phrase 'you are your own worst enemy'! Actually he is redefining it every day  And Carsten with Lenny's Tshirt  poor baby.... I know it's stupid, but I get nightmares thinking abt Carsten thinking of giving up on Lenny! lol . Just shows how much hooked on the show I am ;D |

Oh wow, this one spoiler sounds really interesting! I wonder what outlet it'll be? Maybe he'll get back to drawing and therefore slowly returning to being sensitive!Lenny...
Or maybe he totally gets it on with Carsten. ;D (though I doubt it...)

The last spoiler for this year ( Episode 4397 / 28.12.09) has just showed up! (thanks a lot, alienamy), and it couldn't be more full of hope for Cenny fans: "Because of the robbery Lenny is tormented with self-reproaches and withdraws completely into his shame and excessive demand. Thus he runs just into the arms of Reimann, who makes it clear to Lenny, how much the aggressiveness has changed him. However, Lenny is tired to settle everything by outbreaks of violence and suddenly finds a very expressive outlet for his inner conflict..." Really, things seem to turn around at the end of the year! ;D ;D ;D |
