But - Reimann helps Lenny to get back with Emily?? WTF? *blinks* Sometimes people do things to make the one they love happy, even if it hurts themelves. Especially in soap operas, because it just increases the drama and angst. |

I hope Lenny comes to his senses soon.
I started thinking that if they do the story slow, they should include a man for Carsten first and concentrate more on that than Lenny/Emily. I think it would be better to tell Carstens own storyline the way they have it now and then they "meet" in the middle when both things fail, being there as friends but the feelings naturally come up again.

I read the spoilers: they're simply amazing; I guess we will finally see them as an item (hopefully) by the end of the year/beginning of 2010; indeed, the writers are cooking their story slowly and I think they're doing the right thing (though I'm dying to see them together right now, like all Cenny fans). I agree with your idea of a man for Carsten, but I don't think there's room for one in his chaotic life: heartbroken, in the (painful) process of coming out, just starting to work and still looking for a place to live. And "tough cookie" Lenny didn't even start to seriously face his inner demons... I wonder how their dynamic as a couple is gonna be when they end up together: they have both strong personalities (but they are sensible guys at the same time), are both very masculine, and they were best friends so they shared a lot of time together and know each other very well. I have the feeling we won't be disappointed (crossed fingers!) |

I'm soooo looking forward to December, these spoilers are awesome!! Lenny has an erotic dream about Carsten, wooohoooo!! And I love the sentence Emily's hurt when she realizes that Lenny likes sex - just not with her. Frickin' awesome!!! Totally psyched about the spoilers! People over at the GZSZ website have been discussing that there's a Christmas surprise every year. They guessed that maybe Leon will be able to walk again, but maybe its a happy surprise for the Cenny fans? |

I hope there's a Christmas surprise, Lizkarita, for us Cenny fans! My fanfic submission for last week's contest was about Christmas, a simple little story that was fun to write. Being really new to Cenny though, I had to laugh at a couple things that I included that probably would not happen, realizing it after the fact. But overall, I think it could easily fall into place with what I'm reading in these spoilers! I'm so proud! lol!

Unfortunately, it didn't, Lovecars. (Felix, why do you hate me!  ) But it really was fun to delve into the characters and story like that, and also to know (?) that Felix actually read it. I had to write it in English, which I was told was ok, but who knows. I'll probably drop it into the fanfic thread here for anyone to enjoy (or hate, as the case may be), since we're getting up on the holiday season anyway. |

I have to ask- in soapland, is using a punching bag shorthand for "I might be gay and I"m not sure I like it"? Cos I don't know ANY men who go boxing, and yet there was John Paul in Hollyoaks, Christian in Vl and now Lenny! What's that all about? Are the writers too lazy to think of any other way to express masculinity?

;D Wow, I used to hate spoilers, but not anymore: I'm so hooked on Cenny that I needed to know how this amazing storyline would develop (a sort of reassuring, I guess); after reading the future episodes I feel totally at peace (still grinning)...but there's a downside: I'm even more hooked than before...

You're probably right duskysoda. He'll likely fight any admission of vulnerability to the bitter end then collapse when he hits bottom. Carsten and Lucy will likely have to pick up the pieces and help him pull himself back together. Interestingly, I think this scenario is foreordained by his past life experiences.

 Jesus, the last spoilers couldn't get any better! Reading your "in a nutshell" translation, lizkarita (DANKE!), made me very happy; I think next month it's gonna be a feast for Cenny fans, and it seems it will be "All about Lenny's big turmoil" (he destroys a flat, has a fight with Emily, moves back home, gets totally drunk...just to wake up in Carsten's arms Really, what a feast! ;D

I am excited about the new spoilers. But at the same time I am worried how desperate the decision is. Did Lenny do anything to damage the relationship between him and Carsten? Oh, I hope not! Can not wait to see!!

I'm actually worried that Lenny's desperate act is some kind of gay bashing. The fact that he sees a gay couple and gets all upset, combined with the storyline of all his street violence, really makes me worried he will attack these two guys he sees.  Fingers crossed it just means he goes over to Carsten's in a rage... and winds up falling into his arms! |
