You're in for a long wait with that on Eastenders. Has there ever been a situation like this on this show without the the negative side or them basically being neutered?? It's been like this on Eastenders for a number of years now. The most romantic relationship between men on the show was Ben and Luke, which was painted as bad and wrong and ended in a brutal beating. |

It was a real shame about Luke; the new writer coming in and abruptly turning him into an abuser before brutally killing him off was a travesty. I cannot believe that Luke (and his sister Fi), characters who were first introduced as children way back in the '80s, were given such ignominious exits while the useless Taylor clan had their roles expanded!
I think Ben did have a couple of sexy scenes with Paul Coker, including one very inappropriate scene where they were making out in the funeral parlour's room of rest! But ultimately all of the gay relationships on this show have been pretty tame compared to the straight ones.

the the only thing that really sticks in my mind about Eastenders was the whole Tony and Simon thing in the 90's apart from that the rest have kind of failed to leave a lasting mark even when i actually watched the show.

Soap Clips figured out what Chris’ letter says about Callum: "Dunno what I'd do without my H to be fair, He's been an absolute godsend. I think the subtitle trick only works for youtube videos - which automatically can auto-caption (and not always correctly). Most of the Eastenders clips have been on dailymotion - where the uploader could manually upload a srt file if they have one to provide subtitles.
