Eastenders used to be the best soap in telling stories for gay characters, but they haven't had a great track record with Christian (he is usually just the camp best friend; his first story was a very stereotypical and unpleasant fascination with teenage psycho Stephen Beale, and the only other story he had was being dumped for being too old). The people who run Eastenders now also don't have a great track record with romance -- they've been in charge of the show for over 2 years but I can't think of one good new couple created in that time.

Available internationally on the internet, you mean? Because the BBC has been on the net for a while, but has blocked non-UK addresses. I'm not terribly interested in EastEnders, but the website being open to me would be a blessing in other ways.

IvanIV: Thanks for the caps. So Syed has been properly introduced in the show? May I know if there's anywhere I can find clips covering his & Christian's story? Or has anyone stated his/her interest in uploading the clips. Will be curious on this couple! I wonder if erichnorse of youtube will be doing this storyline given that he did the last Christian's storyline.

He's been there for more than a month now, but I have seen just 5-6 episodes with him. I only know that his mother is trying to set him up with her friend's daughters, he mentioned a g/f, her name is Amira (fancy that ;D ) and that's about all I know. He already met Christian at a firm of his parents (?) I won't be doing any videos, I have my hands full already with VL, but I may make occasionally a few caps.

Although there has been next to no interaction between Christian & Syed as yet, there is a very nice build up between Christian & Syed's parents with regard to him being aware of how they are trying to manipulate a love pairing for him. If they continue setting this up slowly this has the potential to be a very good storyline. |

I do not have a TV source of EE and I have my hands full with VL anyway. The only way I could do the EE clips is if I stopped doing VL.
