So that leaves Aysen, Noud, Mike, Nina, Wiet, and Lorena. I do so wish it would be either Wiet or Mike. They seem the most disposable. I've been binging on past Lucas and Menno scenes too. They're so good together. Wish I could watch old Ludwin too though

This week's survivor is.... Lorena. That should make Hawthorne very happy.

I know this will really make you happy. And me too. Because this week's survivor is Noud!

Awesome.
So this just leaves Aysen, Mike, Wiet, and Nina.
I'm sure they haven't killed Nina.
And frankly, the last 3 all need to die, but Aysen and Wiet deserve to meet more personally dramatic ends. It's Mike.

I was pretty sure they wouldn't kill Noud, but it's nice to have it official. Nina and Wiet are needed for the love triangle with Noud, which hasn't finished playing out yet, I think. Aysen is going to leave the show, I think, but not before she is betrayed by Nuran, which they've been building up to for a while. Rik refuses to marry Nuran if she won't spill her secret, so that is going to come to a head early in the new season, I'm pretty sure. I agree, it's Mike.

Wiet is this week's survivor. And there's also a short clip where Lucas fires Wiet.

She can always still die later on in the season Any hint though why Lucas fires her, Mark? I was wondering the other day too if they might have her be pregnant with Noud's baby.

Promo season 24:
Voice-over: The start of a new season has never been this suspenseful. Jef: There has been an accident. One of the parachutes didn't open. Menno: They have been cut. ?: This was deliberate. Jef: How is that possible? Who did this? Menno: Why am I only now hearing about this? Voice-over: The spectacular start of a new season Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden. Monday, September 2, RTL4.

Thanks for sharing, Mark! I'm excited about the new season. I think it's going to be a good one for Lucas fans.
I think I've figured out how the cliffhanger story is going to play out. Mike's parachute doesn't open (he might not die) and Menno has half the town as suspects. The investigation plays out for a while with different characters taking turns appearing to be the guilty party. But then it is discovered that the parachutes got mixed up and Mike wasn't the intended target. We can be fairly confident that the parachutes got mixed up because so many people who were supposed to jump didn't show up (Rik and Bing) or came suddenly at the last minute (Aysen). The sabotaged parachute was Aysen's, but it was already taken when she showed up so she grabbed another one. Aysen was the intended target and so suspicion immediately shifts to Bing, who was heard by Menno and others to threaten Aysen before the jump. Things look bad for Bing for a while, but he's a permanent cast member so of course he didn't do it. The killer (or would be killer) is Monica. She's a guest character so that's her exit story. She made it look like she was siding with Aysen by pressing charges against Bing, but that was a trick to throw everyone off her trail.

I still think there's no possible way the diver Rik saw plummeting could still be alive. The speed and force behind that impact would kill you, no matter what you land on.

Also, it has been confirmed by the show that this person dies. Nina, Aysen or Mike.

This week's survivor is Aysen. So it's between Nina and Mike now. Which makes sense because a lot of last season's story has been about Nina vs Mike.

Well, it's obviously going to be Mike. Not like it'll be too much of a shakeup.
It's a little disappointing actually, now. Mike's death won't make for much drama besides as a mixed-up murder case.

I think we'll get plenty of drama with Bianca if it's Mike who died. First she loses a son and now maybe her brother... Girl can't catch a break. Next week we'll know for sure. The first episode will be shown again at GTST Live and in the app.

I had totally forgot he's Bianca's brother. We're he and Sjoerd close at all?
Poor Bianca though.

It makes sense that it would be Mike if only because it gets a whole lot of chracters involved in the story. Menno because it looks like he will be leading the investigation. Bianca because she will be losing her brother so close to losing her son. The entire Sander's family because Nina and Ludo will be suspects. Lucas because of what he overheard with Ludo on the phone which will cause tension between him and Menno. Lorena and Laura because of how he just cheated them. Even Bing because Mike might no have been the intended victim. Wiet because maybe Mike wasn't supposed to be the one who died I mean both Nina and Noud were jumping and Wiet hates Nina and was displeased with Noud for brushing off them having slept together so that he can get Nina back. Noud because he could have been trying to prove to Nina he would do anything to get her back

Well, that all but confirms that it will be Mike. Nina dies and Mike continues? Very unlikely. But anything is possible in a soap. If Nina dies, that would set up a custody battle between Noud and Mike over the baby. This is where it could come out that Noud is actually the biological father. But I don't think that will happen.

In case it wasn't already obvious, the new spoilers confirm Mike dies. Congrats, Mark, on calling it months ago.

Technically it doesn't confirm it yet. There's the possibility that the parachutes got switched. If Nina dies but she had Mike's parachute then everyone knows Mike was actually the intended victim.

Well...
Even though she didn't participate, Menno is investigating Laura's alibi thoroughly.
Laura didn't have a motive to kill Nina. Yeah, the parachutes could have been switched (I think they were, but to Mike).
Lucas becomes desperate when Menno suspects the Sanders family as well.
Why would someone in the Sander family be a suspect in killing Nina?
Bianca questions Ludo's innocence in public.
Why would Bianca be accusing Ludo if Nina had died? If Nina died, the suspects would be Wiet and Mike. Nobody would be suspecting Ludo at this point. Accusing someone in public suggests Bianca is emotional.
Janine gives Bianca some good advice.
If her daughter had just died, why would Janine be giving Bianca advice? Why is Bianca so involved if it is Nina who died?
Tim thinks distraction is the best way to put traumatic experiences behind you.
This fits with Bianca being upset about her brother's death.
OK, it doesn't say "Mike dies" explicitly, but you don't have to do much reading between the lines...

We've had experience with vague spoilers and if you want you can explain them for both Mike and Nina. But it would be cool if my theory turns out to be true. Plus, I don't want Nina to die. We'll know for sure in three days.

That would be awful if Nina died. She annoys me much of the time, but I do enjoy her relationship with Lucas.
