Just tweeted by Javier Calvo (and possibly taken by co-star Álex Martínez), a picture of "conversations in [his] dressing-room" with Andrea Duro and Lorena Mateo: So he is shooting today for chapter 75 (7x05). Too bad we can't zoom in on what appear to be the screenplays for various chapters placed on that shelf...

Posted today online, an interview with Fernando Andina, soon to appear as Enrique, the new director and history teacher of El Zurbarán. I found it here: foqnews.blogspot.com/2011/04/entrevista-fernando-andina-trabajo-en.htmlbut it comes from this site www.europapress.es/chance/tv/noticia-fernando-andina-trabajo-fisica-quimica-papel-gavilanes-20110428130601.htmlThere is a lot of information about the actor's biography (particularly all the different schools he attended in various countries) and career. He started on TV in Al salir de clase, a very popular teen show on Telecinco from a little more than a decade ago ( Compañeros aired during the same years, but on Antena 3). and he worked under the direction of Javier Quintas in El Comisario, a long-running cop show also on Telecinco. (Same thing for Joaquín Climent who played Alberto in Seasons 1-4 of FoQ.) Here is what concerns directly his part as Enrique: Q: Tell us something about your character. A: He arrives at the Zurbarán to try and change it from to top to bottom, so that it becomes unrecognizable. He is a man who represents the majority stockholder of the school [that's Vaquero's mother], who's studied it seriously and knows it well. He arrives with claws at the ready, but he meets with a terrain that he doesn't understand at all. He doesn't understand how the school can still be standing, with such hanky-panky going on between teachers and students. For that reason, what he wants is turn the Zurbarán into a serious school with normal students. He'll be the hero of all those parents who criticize the show and the attitudes that are represented in it. My character is very smart, very caustic, with great mental agility; he is ready to confront everything and everybody. Q: With such a temper, won't there be sparks flying with Ana Milán (Olimpia in the show)? A: Olimpia is the only antagonist who'll confront him, and that will draw his attention. For this reason, he'll have a lot of interaction with her. My character has no time to waste with anybody, and he acts the same with Olimpia, until she sets her face against him. I find the reference to (right-wing) parents who've been very critical of the show quite interesting, in the light of the message that the show is returning to its more daring, realistic roots. PS: speaking of filmographies, I just found out that one of the main screenwriters for Foq, Carlos Ruano, has recently written and directed a short called Turno de noche (I guess Night Shift) starring Adam Jeziersky and Israel Rodríguez (with a cameo by Jaime Vaca). It's supposed to be in the horror genre. Info here: www.fotogramas.es/Blogs/La-vida-es-corta/Primer-vistazo-Turno-de-noche-de-Carlos-RuanoIsrael plays yet again an "ambiguous" ;D character (here a security guard)

So, today, it appears shooting on chapter 75 is continuing with various cast members, Ana Milán most notably, tweeting exceedingly dubious jokes on what's been going on in London today ;D. Javier Quintas has started postproduction work on chapter 74 today with his editing team (Miguel and Paloma): and he says they all like what they're seeing. Meanwhile Antena 3 posted today some more of the photos tweeted by Quintas over the last few days. www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/eres-fan/fotos/fotos-director_2011042002078.htmlBut still no sign of an oficial date for the start of the new season I'll be following Àlex Batllori's video chat later this afternoon to see if any information comes out on that occasion.

One further spoiler, derived from the official press session two weeks ago. I'd missed it on a teenfan website, www.superpop.es and here it is www.superpop.es/noticias/todas/fisica-o-quimica-echa-un-vistazo-a-lo-nuevo-del-zurbaranSome stuff we already know about. I'll set in bold what is (relatively) new information. "The show will take a radical turn this season. David and Fer will move in together, Alma will focus on her studies... And Álvaro will have competition as the school's bad guy! Román will have a long-distance relationship with Ruth and... something very powerful/shocking halfway through the season will change the lives of all the school's protagonists" Again the same word "fuerte" that was used by Sandra Blázquez to describe what would happen to her character, Alma. And which seems obviously (?) to refer here to the death announced by Andrea Duro. I'll just add a Fervid picture I hadn't seen before:

So in the videochat with Àlex Batllori, it is confirmed that the date of the premiere.... is still unknown ;D So one week, two weeks at most? The one big thing is that Jonathan transmitted a question about Andrea Duro's interview and that infamous death of a character. And Àlex claimed this was something he had not read yet in the screenplays and had no information about. (On Twitter, he said the other day he had just finished reading chapter 76.) So either he is a big liar. ;D Or that death is something that is coming at the very end of the season. Beside that, it seems that Susana will show up for the first time in chapter 72 (7x02). Once again, Àlex said he likes very much the characters of David and Fer, and their story. It seems that Álvaro's story with Teresa is over, that on the front with Alma things are stationary. So that his main focus is on his ganging with Jon to bully other students, chief of them Salva. But there will be a new love interest later on, but that's top secret for now ;D (there is an A in the name of that new love interest ) Also some information about the shooting, more hand-held camera, less steadicam, which added to a faster, more nervous editing style points to a look which makes it similar to US TV shows. There is a surprise coming for the title song: it's no longer Angy's version, which was used last season. I certainly hope they asked Adrián to sing it. PS: This is not confirmed in the videochat, but it seems that Álvaro is part of the nighttime suburban shoot that's already been mentioned and in which Fer seems to get into a fight. (That's in chapter 75.) PPS: also, it seems that those shots of Jon walking again will turn out to be a dream/hallucination sequence linked to his fall fown the stairs at the end of last season. This should be cleared up at the beginning of 7x01.

A little more on that death of a character:
As Jonathan Ruiz Camino was suggesting to Javi's father via Twitter that they should have dinner together, and invite Àlex Batllori and Sandra Blázquez, Javi Sr. answered: "Come on the set on Tuesday. We are shooting what you already know. In the afternoon." So one of his followers jumped on that and guessed "what you already know" what that death. So came this exchange: Javi Sr.: "yes, Isaac's death, because we didn't finish him off yet. Or Rubén's: when he fell, he bounced back and had been in a coma ever since.... Who do you want to kill off now?" Follower: "Well, according to an interview by Andrea Duro, there is a death" Javi Sr.: "I think Andrea Duro wasn't talking about that. But it is good to create expectations."
So this is really called fucking with the fans... ;D I believe that what Javi's father was referring to might be the extreme act of bullying against Salva, which will likely happen on the set of the Zurbarán.
PS: anyway, Javier Calvo will also be on set that afternoon, so we might yet get some more pics.

And yet one more "avance" for Season 7 just posted by Antena 3: www.antena3.com/videos-online/series/fisica-o-quimica/estreno-nueva-temporada-foq_2011042900017.htmlThis one is about Jon/Daniela/Salva and Álvaro. First a voiceover (of a doctor) : "when he is fully recovered, then he'll be able to accept reality as it is" (that's where we have those shots of Jon walking again) Then Salva to Daniela (in the library): "Deny then that you were going to choose me" And it ends in the xerox machine room with a particularly nasty looking Álvaro punching Salva in the stomach. (Edited to correct translation)

A couple more things about that location shoot at night in a Madrid suburb. It seems that beside Javier Calvo and Àlex Batllori, Olivia Molina (Verónica) and Lucía Ramos (Teresa) were also involved. At least that's what it looks like from the twitter page of the little boy whose picture with Javier I posted earlier. And there is another picture of a "bloody Fer", which is here: twitpic.com/4q8symalso in B&W twitpic.com/4plkkwThis time it's the little boy's sister on the picture. How cute that Javier is called a zombie, just like Edwin on GTST ;D

The latest is a tweet from Ana Milán saying that Física o Química will début its new season on Antena 3 on Thursday, May 5 (probably at 22:00). But this so far is not supported by an announcement from the channel.

Actually, Thursday is a day with serious competition. There is an important soccer game on Cuatro, which won't be over until 23:00, and on TVE1, the first channel of Spanish public TV, there is the highly popular Gran Reserva, sort of a Spanish version of Falcon Crest (starring Ángela Molina, Olivia's mother ;D), currently in its 2nd season. On Telecinco, there is a new reality/game show . On Tuesday, OTOH, Telecinco has a series that looks pretty dumb, Ángel o demonio, in its first season. The thing is, Antena 3 soon will début the second season of Hispania, a prestige historical series about the Roman conquest of Spain in the 2nd century BC and so they have to save a day for that. On Sundays they have Doctor Mateo, and on Mondays Los Quién.

The latest teaser/trailer from Antena 3, now available on youtube, but with a different ending:
I am reposting the translation:
First a voiceover (of a doctor) : "when he is fully recovered, then he'll be able to accept reality as it is" (that's where we have those shots of Jon walking again) Then Salva to Daniela (in the library): "Deny then that you were going to choose me"

Re: the choice of Thursday to air the first episode of Season 7, it appears that Jaime Vaca, the show's head writer who is also on Twitter now, is not exactly thrilled either. Or at least, he says it's a big challenge. On that day, there is, as I mentioned earlier, the very popular Gran Reserva on TVE1, a new season of the Spanish version of Survivors on Telecinco, and a new comedy series on la Sexta, BuenAgente. Vaca points out that the show has been migrating a lot over the time. His personal preference was for the original Monday night.
In another tweet, he wrote yesterday: "I can say, from the heart, that the 7th is among the best seasons of the show." And he added in English: "Bigger, longer & uncut" ;D ;D

Vaquero with Olimpia in bed in a clip of an Ana Millan fan, I think in capter 71 and with moustache (m.1.10): www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xSo_I6wD3g(This clip was found in the blog of Erika, a Japanese fan of the Iagomax love story) Maybe this scene means that Vaquero's wedding with Sara was only to let her to live and work in Spain, and he continues his relationship with Oli.

Well, that or they have a very interesting notion of marriage... ;D That's going to be great fun, and Marc really looks winsome with his bigote. ;D The announcer mentions the new season will bear on current themes, like "bullying" (which she then translates for her audience , drug abuse, prostitution, proliferation of guns, and then she adds, "Yoli, Fer, Román, Jon return to the Zurbarán for a season which not all of them will finish." So we are back to that. It's interesting because she's obviously giving authorised teasers/spoilers, but she is going WAY beyond what's available on the series' website . This is the FIRST THING we hear about guns! PS: Ooops, forgot to thank you for the clip!

Roman? i think that one of this 2 will die.I exclude Yoli and Jon. Andrea in her interview talk about the death of a person very close to her. This is not necessary Fer;if i'm not wrong she will help Roman too becoming very close to him. Estimating that the death of Fer would not forgiven by the followers of FoQ,especially if they will realize another season, and the fact that Roman is not one of the favourite characters, maybe is Roman the boy who will die.

Two more teasers from Antena 3 for the upcoming season premiere. One is about Enrique the new director:
Enrique: My name is Enrique Lubián and I am the new director of this school. (to Yoli): I thought the rules for the dress code had been made clear. You are expelled for one week.
(OMG: the goal-keeper at 0:07 is David ;D)
The other one is about Verónica and Xavi:
Verónica: Flatmate wanted, female only! Xavi:What are the two requisites to enter here ? Verónica:You should be neither a man nor an art teacher! Xavi: (to Verónica) Welcome to the art classroom! (on the phone) I am not dropping you for any girl!
Uh oh, I think the story of her breakup with Jorge will make for an interesting tale. ;D

More teasing in advance of Thursday but no new spoiling ;D www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/noticias/esta-temporada_2011050300019.htmlCast members try to find the words to convince viewers to watch. Ana: This is the season! Javier: It's not a bridge season. It's a season in which things happen. Àlex: We're aware we had to give this overhaul, otherwise things get sleepy. Fernando: It's heavy metal! Álex: A return to the origins! Adrián: Addictive! etc... ;D Javier: We had to reach this season. After we see Enrique in action, Fernando comments: "There is a turn of the screw" As I wrote in the General Discussion thread, we'll have more comments from the actors (and directors) in the new blog for the series.

The europapress.es portal which had already given us an interview with Enrique Arce (Arturo) is today posting one with Nasser Saleh (Román): www.europapress.es/chance/tv/noticia-nasser-saleh-javier-bardem-persona-espectacular-muy-profesional-20110503114652.html?relalso found here foqnews.blogspot.com/2011/05/entrevista-nasser-saleh-esta-temporada_03.htmlNo game-changing spoiler, but a few interesting details. As is to be expected, there are quite a few questions regarding Nasser's personal life and already impressive career (he's only 18) both in film and TV. Most notably, he appeared in a small part last year in Alejandro González Iñárritu's latest film, Biutiful, where he played with Javier Bardem. Román's character is introduced as follows: "His character arrived at the Zurbarán as a difficult young man, but we saw him grow and develop over the last season to become a more mature adolescent." " Q: What will happen in Román's life this season? A: There is going to be a lot of movement, things that go very fast, action, reaction. Things will be raw, not well done, crude (laughter), so that you can see how they are. Román this season is switching to the good side, and he will be surrounded by Salva, Fer, David and Alma, although this may sound unbelievable. People will take sides, and there will be different camps, because a new director is coming, the character played by Fernando Andina, who will try and scold us into behaving ourselves. But the Zurbarán is a ticking time-bomb, that can be tamed down by no one, and we'll see much conflict, we'll see a school coming alive. People will be much more alert and everyone of us will interact with all the others. Q: How will be his relations with women? A: Ruth has gone to Barcelona, but they are supposed to be still together. There's been an interruption, a summer break that was absolutely brilliant for some [yey, Fervid! ;D] and not so for others, because things may have happened, like a tragedy, that may have had an impact and changed them [in fact, here Nasser says "him", as he means Román]. Q: Can we say that Román is single this season? A: We can say that Román has a long-distance relationship with Ruth. That's what we're supposed to know. Q: Will he be able to maintain that relationship? A: I don't know, at this point. There's gonna be something, he'll get closer to another character, but more than anything it will be about worry, friendship, affection and caring. This will not go the way of romance. Q: Who will Román live with this season? A: He won't be living with his mother in Morocco, because his father dies there, and he returns very sad. He'll stay and live alone in Clara's house but not permanently. [We know he'll go live with David and Fer after that] Q: How are you similar to your character Román? A: I am not much like him. Román can play the harmonica and Nasser the piano, and some guitar. Román loves to go out and party, and I am more into quiet outings, that are not exhausting or tiring. And we are alike, in that for both friendship is important, they are entirely devoted to their freinds, and with their enemies, they are very hostile."

Ok, one (probably) final spoiler for the day. This afternoon and evening, shooting continued on chapter 75. This was the day when Javier Calvo Sr. had told Jonathan to come to the set, because they would be shooting "you know what". And so Jonathan did come and had lunch with Javier Sr., Àlex Batllori and Sandra Blázquez. Later in the afternoon, work began again. Javier Calvo and Andrea Duro were also there, as well as probably Álex Hernández. Others too, maybe. Lucía Ramos was definitely not there. This mysterious sequence, so mysterious that one outsider, the young woman who runs the javiercalvoonline.blogspot.com/ blog was let in but forbidden to tweet on it, was described by Àlex Batllori at the end as "blood-curdling" or "horrific" ( espeluznante). Jonathan tweeted that it was a masterpiece of a sequence and that it would cause a big scandal ( se va a liar una muy gorda). He then proceeded to shoot some footage to put online (but probably not rightaway). Javier Quintas (although he is not supposed to be the director) complimented Àlex Batllori. PS: after the shoot, Javier Calvo who'd taken off his contacts because they were bothering him, realized he had lost or misplaced his prescription glasses over the weekend. He's been writing some pretty hilarious tweets since then on the theme Hola no veo ("Hi, I can't see a thing!") ;D

The preview pictures for tomorrow night's first episode are now posted on the show's website, AND there are more pics! www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/noticias/revolucion_2011050402176.htmlHere are some of the pics I couldn't embed before: and some extra ones: Is it just me, or has David never looked better? ;D AND OMG, he is wearing a freaking tie Job interview, anyone? Uh oh, David's first contact with the new art teacher, and Jorge's successor, Xavi. ;D And Salva's martyrdom at Álvaro's hands begins: Here the official chapter synopsis from Antena 3: " RevolutionA new school year is beginning in the Zurbarán, and these recent summer months have served to put everyone on a different path, and even more so after Jon's terrible accident. On the one hand, the hallways are feeling the heat of the bad girls' gang, as they roam the school, under Daniela's rule, and driven by Teresa, who seems to have been awakened to the most radical kind of adolescence by the summer's emotion. On the other side, Yoli and Alma keep being the classroom's veterans and they won't let themselves be trod upon so easily. The boys, on the other hand, are fighting different battles, in which muscles win, and Jon has plenty of them, as well as a keen thirst fro revenge. He was in a coma the whole summer. When he awakens, all he'll want to remember is the good things in his life, his girlfriend Daniela and his good friend Salva... And in the middle, as always, stand the teachers, more united than ever before against Enrique, the new school principal, who has a sharp tongue and a very straight view of correctness and order. His first measures will create controversy, and the teachers will find out that no help is unwanted if they hope to end the time of dictatorship which is approaching. A teachers-students alliance is the only solution to contain a person such as Enrique, and Yoli could be an exemplary students' representative... Xavi will be the new art teacher, filling in for Jorge's absence, as the latter won't be coming back after he broke up with Verónica over the summer. Now the literature teacher will seek for peace in her home, something she'll find difficult to achieve when Vaquero brings home Sara, his newly-wed wife, a girl as pretty as she is unhibited, who'll give her countless headaches." PS: as usual, there are lots of things missing from the official synopsis, including things that have been published before.
