Following Àlex Batllori's tweets, I've been able to discover that young Valencian actor Víctor Palmero has been shooting for Season 7 of FoQ. He said on Twitter he'd first appear in chapter 73: he started working at the very beginning of April and his stint on set is ending this week, meaning that his episodic role will end in chapter 75. He added to Àlex that "it was great fighting against you"... So he might be a major player in the whole bullying storyline, unless it has already morphed into something else, more dangerous. In any event, here are a couple of demo videos he posted on YT:
(scenes 1, 2 & 5 are in in Valencian)

Las tramas de la séptima temporada www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/noticias/tramas-septima-temporada_2011050402253.htmlFervid want to live together, but have problems for being an homosexual couple. AND David likes women (his ex) AND Fer is worried with Roman because his drugs AND he's very friend of David and Fer is gelous--- Vaquero has passed the summer in a NGO and turns hippie, and married with his very friend Sara only because she could live and work in Spain. But they live together, so... there will be something more. Jon woke up from his coma and wants vengance; he thinks Salva is responsable and will do bullying against him helped by Alvaro. Vero wants to pass more time with her daugther (we know Teresa has turned the bad girl of the Zurbaran), but her home isn't quite, with the storm Sara, and the atraction Vero feels for Xavi. And everybody, teachers and students, are against the new director. Only Olivia can manage him.

Here's the whole thing ;D www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/noticias/tramas-septima-temporada_2011050402253.htmlStorylines for Season 7Season 7 means a return of Física o Química to its origins. A new phase that will make people talk, because it signifies a return to the transgressive series we know. We'll be broaching engagé themes, which will be tackled with courage and fearlessly, with better defined characters, similar to those who have always been featured in this show, with a distinctive mark, that of FoQ. Enrique (Fernando Andina) will start the school year as only he knows, with many laws and a firm hand. This will provoke not just the students, who'll want to stop the dictator-director in his tracks, but also the teachers, who'll see for the first time how little of a voice and of a vote they have if they can't rely on some exterior support. At the start, the new director will have everybody up in arms against him, but he'll have a different connection with Olimpia. Both have a very strong character, but she'll manage to see the human side of Enrique, she'll work her way through the cracks of his armor and will discover he's someone loaded with insecurities. In this new school year, we'll see how teachers and students will unite according to their own interests, in electing a student body's representative. There'll be two candidates, and an open war to grab the coveted title. Daniela (Lorena Mateo) or Yoli (Andrea Duro), the representative of the director, or that of the teachers. Jon (Álex Hernández) wakes up from a three-month long coma. When he fell down the stairs, Daniela (Lorena Mateo) was about to make a decision and choose to be with him with or Salva (Álex Martínez), but now, after a summer through which neither Salva nor Daniela left the boy's bedside, he wakes up with a surprise; he's got amnesia. To him, that Daniela should be by his side is the most normal thing, since after all, she's his girlfriend; and that Salva should be there as well, since he's his best friend. But he doesn't remember either why he can't feel his legs, and his awakening in this way to reality will be twice as tough, when he finds out his friends were not so much his friends when his fall occurred, and that he couldn't stop his fall because he already was in a wheelchair. The truth triggers in him an until then unknown fury and an ardent desire for revenge... Vaquero (Marc Clotet) is back from his summer in South America, he spent time with an NGO and has returned with a different take on life, more relaxed, more hippie [ ;D], but that isn't all he is bringing back, he comes with a wife. So it is, Vaquero spent the summer with the one who's become his soulmate, Sara (Sabrina Garciarena). As Vaquero was ending his experience beyond the pond, the girl wanted to travel to Spain with him, and they decided to get married to avoid all legal problems. Vaquero and Sara got married because of paperwork, but they're just friends, although that's just the beginning. Verónica (Olivia Molina) will return from the summer, having learned a lot from her breakup with Jorge. She wants to make a change in her life, spend more time with her daughter and think more about her and less about men. Things will be difficult with her new flatmates, Sara is the Southern gale who accepts no boundaries, and Xavi (Juan Pablo de Pace) is the prototype of man she must be wary of, precisely because she'll feel irresistibly attracted to him. But Vero won't be the only one with a spot for Xavi, Sara too will set her sights on the new teacher. Not to mention that Vaquero will look for more than friendship from the young woman who's his wife. This storyline has romantic comedy written all over it. Teresa (Lucía Ramos) has changed over the summer, she's no longer the sweet shy girl she was last season, she's fully loaded and now she is the mirror image of Daniela. With an almost mimetic admiration which will worry those who care for her, like her mother or Román (Nasser Saleh), whom she's been chatting with online all summer long. OTOH, for those she has little chemistry with, she'll come to be the very devil, in this case, to Alma (Sandra Blázquez) with whom she'll have more than one confrontation. In fact, the hallways of the Zurbarán will see a real catfight, and the fact is that Daniela, Teresa and co. will be evil incarnate as teenagers, while on the other side Yoli (Andrea Duro) and Alma (Sandra Blázquez) are not exactly short in brains to fight them. Alma (Sandra Blázquez) will go through her own personal hell, and that's because the scholarship to study in the US won't be hers unless she has a financial buffer her family can't even dream of giving her. The young woman will have to find a solution by herself, and no job allows her to get that kind of money quickly, except maybe that of waitress... Alma will start working in a night bar where she will be able to get that money at a very high price. David (Adrián Rodríguez) and Fer ( Javier Calvo) are together again, and even more so when they decide to move out from their parents' and live together. To the typical problems of young men getting emancipated, is added the fact they are a gay couple. Maybe David will start dreaming of women, maybe Fer will think their new flatmate Román is a danger, not just because he keeps at home plants of marihuana from which he gets the money to pay the rent, but because on top of that he's much too friendly with his boyfriend, he's cute, he's sexy and he's always around...The male world of the school will also be revolutionized when Álvaro (Àlex Batllori) and Jon (Álex Hernández), the evil brain and the obedient hand, become partners. Jon woke up to discover a raw reality he'll have trouble accepting, while Álvaro spent the whole summer under pressure from his father, to reach "selectivity" better prepared than anyone else. So much frustration will become visible at a level that's familiar in the world of a school, the fight to be the strongest, the top gun, who's got everything under control. And as there is an obedient hand, there will also be a usual victim, like Salva. The fact is, Jon can't get out of his head the face his friend made as he was falling down the stairs.

Just posted on the frenteletele.com site, an interview with Juan Pablo di Pace, the Argentinian actor who plays Xavi: www.frentelatele.com/Antena-3/Series/Primer-time/Juan-Pablo-di-Pace-Hay-mucho-conflico-laboral-y-personal.htmlQ: What will your character be like? A: My character will be a passionate guy, who loves what he's doing, who loves his profession, art, and he loves to transmit new ideas. He's a very practical guy, his classes are all about practice, he is not into imparting data or information, what he's into is for the students to think and discuss. He uses a rather unorthodox method, he takes them into the streets to make graffiti, and he gets into rows all by himself, because, besides, part of his rather passionate personality is that he loves adrenaline, so he gets into lots of troubles. And I guess the same passion leads him to have a rather catastrophic personal life. There is a lot of conflict, both at work and private. It's really fun to play. Q: Your character is described as roguish and a seducer. Who will you try to seduce? A: A couple of the ladies (laughter). I can only tell you he won't be crossing the line of seducing a female student, this love he has for teaching wouldn't really let him go there. Q: Some anecdote from the set? A: The other day, for a scene where we were supposed to laugh, with Sabrina, the new actress who'll play Sara, we started hitting each other... We have a lot of fun, we are the two Argentinians, we also have a rather peculiar sense of humor (laughter)... [...] Q: How have you prepared for your role? A: ... My work was to stay with the physical, the practical, and every time there was something to do, for instance there is a storyline for which I got to do a couple of drawings, normally they ask a professional to come and make the drawings, and I asked them to please let me do them. All the drawings you see in Xavi's bedroom and in the classroom are mine. It was a lot of fun. It was a day in which we had seven sequences to shoot, it was the last one, I had lines, and I had asked students to draw. I spent a whole weekend almost sleepless, practicing how to explain it and draw.(Laughter) They were saying, "How will you fill the blackboard with drawings?" And I kept practicing. Besides, it was necessary to make the same drawing at several different stages, and I had to do all of them (laughter). It was great, and a pleasure because I had been like ten years without drawing. Q: After performing in Mamma Mia, could you prepare another musical at the Zurbarán? A: No problem, you just hand me a mike, and I give it my all. It would be good, I don't know how but... And then Angy has gone. Q: Who will your character have good relations with? A: He'll have good relations with Olimpia, Verónica, the new teacher, Vaquero... I don't know, all the teachers, in general. He'll have a terrible relation with Enrique, my character and his character, just zero. I think he'll be the one to have the least patience for him, because they are complete opposites. Xavi is a guy who's always late, who doesn't care for the rules of the school, and Enrique is very straight. We'll have a couple of confrontations.

So, various cast members (and not just) have been tweeting to remind their followers tonight is the big night. But I'd like to make a special case for Javi Calvo's great gift to us this morning. He just tweeted this wonderful picture of the cast on set, one assumes for chapter 75

Ooops, and thanks to Javier Quintas (who's on set although he's not directing , we know it was philosophy class this morning at the Zurbarán: (the show's extras, waiting for orders) (Sara, played by Sabrina Garciarena) Currently they're taking a break. In fact Señor Quintas is doing 3rd camera today, to help on chapter 76 (7x06), so I was wrong, we're already past the halfway mark of the season. Director for that episode is "Alex", so probably Alejandro Bazzano PS: Javier Quintas will also be live blogging the broadcast of 7x01 tonight, since it's his chapter.

The break is over for the actors, so back to work on chapter 76 (7x06): looks like someone just changed outfits ;D Aaargh, I want the job of the lady with the beige jacket Oooops, I was wrong again, Alex is in fact a she, so here she is preparing a sequence by giving Álex Martínez and Nasser Saleh direction (could she be Álex Pozuelo?)

About Jon again, an interview with Álex Hernández, who's still scheduled to take part in this week's videochat this afternoon at 18:00. The text is here: www.europapress.es/chance/tv/noticia-alex-hernandez-me-encantaria-hacer-pelicula-verano-20110505125025.htmland here foqnews.blogspot.com/2011/05/entrevista-alex-hernanez-me-encantaria.html"He's one of the cute faces of Física o Química, and in just one year, his character, Jon, has managed to fascinate more than a handful of fans. Thing is, Álex Hernández enjoys intensely his work in the show, even though his character is not the easiest to grasp. His wheelchair has become for him an extra part of himself, but this doesn't prevent him from bringing forth the most attractive and rebellious side of Jon. Q: What's the outlook for Jon in this 7th season? A: Bad, at first, because he'll go back to relive some very tough moments, when he knows he is paralysed again. As an actor, I took it very hard, that's what happens when you get very involved with your character. I was left upset, I needed some time to take it in, because you get to the point when you believe that you can walk again, you live it so. From that point on, Jon puts on an armor, and the only thing he'll do is make everybody else's lives miserable. Q: Which character do you usually have more relations with? A: With Álvaro, and also with the extras and episodic characters. Among us all, we'll try to ruin the others' lives. That's it for spoilers in this one.

The foqnews blog has found an entry in an obscure neighborhood website that sheds a little light on that now infamous nighttime location shoot (the one with a "bloody Fer"), which will be part of chapter 75 (7x05). foqnews.blogspot.com/2011/05/rivas-se-convierte-en-plato-de-fisica-o.html"Rivas becomes a TV set for Física o Química" The popular TV show Física o Química chose the surroundings of the Las Lagunas high school, to shoot one of its upcoming episodes. Familiar actors and actresses left their fictitious Zurbarán to shoot right in the middle of the Covibar neighborhood [in the town of Rivas, SW Madrid], for a chapter that will soon air on TV, since tonight will see the début of the show's 7th Season. I'll comment on this in the Spoilers Discussion Thread.

And now Part 2 of today's final "avance", just posted on the official website: www.antena3.com//videos-online/series/fisica-o-quimica/jon-recuerda-accidente_2011050500071.htmlAll the walking around, playing football and doing Daniela in the bathroom was a dream. Jon has come out of his coma, Salva and Daniela visit him, but Salva is not happy that they keep lying to Jon about his real state. Jon overhears the argument outside his room, tries to get up, falls and sees the wheelchair in the passage. He then recovers his memory and relives what happened at the end of 6x14. He then yells to Salva: "Don't touch me, you bastard, don't touch me!"

Other than that, today's videochat with Álex Hernández was not exactly the most interesting ever. Still, a few things I found interesting.
- Back in 2009, Álex Hernández came to casting for the part of David. So with Nasser Saleh, that's the second "failed" David who ended up being part of the cast.
- The performer seemed very sincere when he said he was a bit fed up with acting in a wheelchair.
- No romantic interest for Jon this season.
- With the help of Jonathan (who seemed not a little bored), Álex went on about chapter 75 as being the big watershed in the season. Everything will change after that, the consequences of the terrible thing which happens during that episode will be felt by all characters and change or influence them deeply. The location shoot in Rivas was mentioned as linked to that dramatic event. They even confirmed that an episodic character introduced at some point this season will cease to appear after that episode.
- The actor said today (so that concerns the pictures I posted earlier) was the first day of production for chapter 76.

And exploring a bit the Antena 3 website, here is a great trailer/teaser for the new season and 7x01, that aired today in a news bulletin of the channel: www.antena3.com/videos-online/noticias/cultura/fisca-quimica-estrena-septima-temporada_2011050500080.htmlThis has some of the most exciting Fervid spoilers yet!!!Enrique:I am the history teacher and new school director.... Fernando Andina: He's come to put an end to the hanky-panky: pot-smoking students, 15 year old students of the same sex [ ;D] getting married (0:15) David: Fer, but we already came very close to getting married.... what are you doing? Fer: Open it! After a presentation of Sara and some pictures of a girlfight and of Jon's soccer game, the announcer decides to give an improvised quizz to the actors about the painter Zurbarán ;D Javier Calvo answers correctly that he was a painter from the classical Spanish "Siglo de Oro" (17th century) and died in Estremadura and Velásquez was another painter friend of his. He gets a " sobresaliente" (A+) and he says "Yeah!" Then I guess we see for the first time Susana, and David desperately and silently asking Fer not to reveal they're boyfriends. (at 1:05) ;D ;D Very blasé, Adrián comments that after all this time on the show, he'll finally get his ESO (what you get at 16 when you finish Compulsory Secondary Education). ;D

In the preview at the end of tonight's chapter 71, here are a few points about next week's chapter 72: - the fight is on for the election for student body's representative between Yoli, who's supported by the faculty and Daniela who's Enrique's candidate - Sara is very keen on making out with both Xavi and Vaquero - Bullying against Salva by Álvaro and his sidekicks is beginning to take a nasty turn - David has found a job working in his ex girlfriend Susana's hair and beauty salon; Fer finds out David didn't tell Susana about his relationship with him and he is not amused; Susana makes her intentions clear by planting a kiss on David who doesn't seem thrilled. The "avance" is available now at this URL www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/avance-fisica-o-quimica/avance-cap-2-temporada-7_2011050502284.html

www.frentelatele.com/Antena-3/Series/Primer-time/Capitulo-72-Espectaculo.htmlHere is the official chapter synopsis for chapter 72 (7x02): Spectacle"The campaign for the election of students' representatives is getting very heated, with two heavyweights fighting it out. On one side, Yoli will try to imporve the situation of the students in the school, but most of all she will be Olimpia's and Verónica's personal gamble to resist Enrique, who, on his side, sees in Daniela a pawn who will consolidate his power. Playing dirty will be ruled out between the girls, but Daniela always has an ace up her sleeve, and one has to seize opportunity as it comes. With the help of Jon and Álvaro, she'll manage to offer stuff that may decide the vote in her favor. A video will turn up right in time to depress the morale of Yoli and of Salva... David and Fer find out how difficult it is to make it financially through the month, they need a job, but the thing is very difficult. David gets an opportunity that seems a gift from heaven when he runs into Susana, an ex girlfriend, who offers him a job in her hair salon, just to be near him, and the thing is that the girl has never forgotten David, and now he won't dare tell her openly he is gay. On the other side, the two boys won't be the only ones with problems with accomodation, when Román gets a call from Clara who she tells him she needs to sell off her house. Román will offer to pay half of the couple's rent in exchange for a room in their flat. And Verónica will be very worried by the unreasonable attitude of Teresa. Xavi vows to help her, and although he means well, his is not the best approach, particularly when he organises a meeting in the classroom between the girl and a large enough number of the boys she's done it with to make her see that what she's doing is beyond promiscuity. Feeling totally insulted, the girl will go to Enrique to complain and ask him to take measures. Meanwhile, Sara will be more subtle, showing her that one clear purpose is better than a thousand mistaken ones. Teresa will stare long and hard at Román... a clear attraction."

Another entry in the series of cast members' interviews posted by europapress.es. Today, it's Sandra Blázquez (Alma): www.europapress.es/chance/tv/noticia-sandra-blazquez-soy-demasiado-romantica-pasional-tampoco-bueno-20110506124612.htmlor here foqnews.blogspot.com/2011/05/entrevista-sandra-blazquez-soy.html"Sandra tells us her character is going to be very self-involved, and her part will have first seat in the most powerful/shocking moments of this new season." " Q: How shall we see Alma this season? A: This season, Alma doesn't have time to be bad or good, what with the things that are going to happen to her. Something unforeseen will come up on the personal level that she has to achieve, she'll have to overcome lots of things, and including herself. Of all the show, now Alma is going to have the most powerful/shocking moments. Q: Who will you have most relations with this season? A: With Yoli and Román, mostly. At the end of the day, Yoli and I are the two who are repeating, and that always brings you closer, there is a necessity in the fact we're the only two left. From what I've read in the scripts so far [this was made in mid-April], Yoli and I don't reach the point where we are confidantes, but I think they will be eventually. Q: What love relationships will you have? A: There will be something, but I can't tell. Q: You won't have relations with the other characters? A: What happens is that during this season, Alma will be very much involved with herself, the others will be there because they have to be there, and they are in the same classroom. She's going to have a terrible relation with Teresa, to the death (laughter). Q: And with Álvaro? A: At the beginning, they won't even look at each other, there will be lots of indifference, but later it will begin to grow, and very fast in fact." Beside that, lots of interesting info about Sandra's personal tastes. She's very good friends with Àlex Batllori, she shares a dressing-room with Andrea Duro, and it's a very popular place in the studios. She was studying Film direction until she started acting in the show, but had to stop because she had not enough time to do both. She studies English when she is on holiday, but she says it's no good because she keeps forgetting it right away. ;D

So today, work continues on the set of FoQ. Chapter 76, I guess. Javier Calvo tweeted this morning about Fer shooting scenes with Yoli. Àlex Batllori has been shooting too, but separately.
At the end of last week, both Andrea Duro and Ana Milán tweeted about some more nighttime shooting taking place.

HI!!! I see the screen of shiny, I guess is a television ad, and in the Formulatv forum I write the posible implication of David: "experimentation".... so this word in spanish is asociated directly with sexuality, and it is a factor that may be NOW clearly to David... (nervouness with the ex plot...) And the Fer word: "Live" because the rumors of Fer will die the end of season... (Andrea duro declarations: "a character will die this season") fan personal pics, in the moment os filming chapter 75 twitpic.com/4pljp6twitpic.com/4q8symBut probably is nothing of this, and only reflects the new changes in their relationship, problems that will solve two both, problems of the life, work, money, live together, etc...

Just posted today on the show's website, three interviews with the three actors who play the new adult characters Sabrina Garciarena (Sara) www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/eres-fan/entrevistas/sabrina-garciarena-sara-muy-divertida-regalo-poder-darle-vida_2011051002279.htmlJuan Pablo di Pace (Xavi) www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/eres-fan/entrevistas/juan-pablo-pacce-xavi-cruzara-limite-varias-profesoras_2011051002256.htmlFernando Andina (Enrique) www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/eres-fan/entrevistas/fernando-andina-vermos-ciertos-trazos-humanidad-enrique_2011051002248.htmlNothing really mind-blowing in terms of spoilers. Pretty everything has already been covered in the interviews I already translated. Still a couple of things: - For Sara, who's a free woman (both intellectually and sexually), who lives in the moment, enjoys herself and doesn't make plans, one of the keys to her character is that, when it comes to teaching, she will display a sense of responsibility and seriousness quite opposite to her usual habitus. - For Xavi, we already know he won't get involved with students, only with female teachers; lots of serious confrontation with Enrique; complete irresponsibility in his private life. The actor, like he did in another interview, points out he's also enjoying the part because he comes from an artistic family and has done drawing in the past. - For Enrique, Fernando Andina explains he's conceived the part as someone who's been educated in boarding schools, an only child who's never been loved or nurtured by his parents. So that coldness he displays comes from deep down. The thing is, he's so extreme in his lack of empathy, it becomes funny and enjoyable (both for the audience and the performer). Jokingly, he says Enrique will suffer because the Zurbarán is so at odds with everything he is and beiieves in. He suggests Enrique will show "the faintest traces of humanity" at some point.

OK, so we got a big spolier in this evening's videochat from Andrea Duro. Asked by Jonathan about that infamous interview, Andrea denied she had ever mentioned any well-liked or close protagonist would die. What she said did refer to the shocking events in chapter 75. And, apparently, this does not include any major character dying.
Also, the big "shocking" storyline with Alma will start in chapter 73, where she apparently will go for the first time to a night bar.
Also, Xavi will get into big troubles in chapters 76-77 for the sake of a student.
More generally, Andrea Duro and Álex Martínez are much more entertaining than Álex Hernández. ;D

So just two things about the next chapter, 7x02 (aka chapter 72), "Espectáculo".
Interestingly enough, I was discussing today how best to translate that title in English. As it turns out, this is answered in the first sequence of the chapter, which takes place in Olimpia's English class. She writes on the blackboard the word "SPECTACLE" and comments that it is different from the Spanish "espectáculo", in that it doesn't suggest the theatre, a play, etc... (which it does in Spanish as in French) What it does suggest, she says, can be understood if one thinks of American politics. And that's when Fer volunteers the example of President Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky. All this to say, that one of the meanings of the title is "scandal". We know from the preview that Salva will be involved in an incident of voyeurism.
The other spoiler I can give is that this is a great Fervid chapter. (But then again, it looks like this will be the case of all chapters this season.)
I think I will be able to post a complete recap just after the episode finishes airing, i.e. around midnight on Thursday, CET.
