A trace of the second and final day of Jonathan Ruiz Camino's cameo in the upcoming Chapter 73: He said that beside interviewing Enrique (Fernando Andina), his character had scenes with Olimpia and Yoli.

A few tidbits, this time again from Javier Quintas' tweets (he is shooting scenes for 7x04 today): Season 7 will have 9 chapters. They will be chock full with content. Lots of rivalry between Álvaro and Jon, two "bad boys". Salva is sort of caught in between. Pictures also: here is one Is this Vaquero with Verónica?

YES, IT'S VAQUERO!!! Shooting of La Voz Dormida ends today, but lately only it has been shoted the prison scenes. I think maybe he has shot the two things in the last days, or the shooting of the movie ended for him some days ago. We can see how he looks like in a video about the shooting of the movie past monday. Marc appears at the end. The shooting has been opened to the media and the main actors were there, but Marc and his beloved in the movie, Maria Leon, hadn't scenes: www.lebrija.tv/modules.php?name=News&file=print&sid=6465It's from a local TV. For watching de video, you must push in the camera. Maybe he's also the young man who walks in the corridor and embraces a man (the images have bad quality). I know this shooting has been very moving for the actors and actresses, and feelings are openly expressed. They idenfified theirselves with their characters. This hug seems to express many feelings. But maybe also means that Marc has been out of the shooting some days.

Thanks for this. If the scenes shot at the end were at the women's prison, then he was presumably not part of them. I wonder if he'll keep that longer hairstyle for the whole season. Probably little chance he'll return to his Iago look.

I like this hairstyle! I prefers it to the past seasons of FoQ (and yes, I love Iago's hairstyle!). And in the book, his character Paulino has some prison scenes in the 60's, maybe it's the hairstyle of that time and it's good for both the movie and the series. Or maybe it's Vaquero's new look.

Well, the character went backpacking through South America, so maybe it's his Motorcycle Diaries look.

There were more tweets by Javier Quintas yesterday Friday April 8, from the set of FoQ, shooting chapter 74, and a few more pictures. He said they had comedy scenes in the faculty room between the teachers, mentioning Vaquero and Verónica. And they ended the day (and the week) with another comedy scene with Yoli, Fer and David in the school bathroom. Sounds interesting. I want to post this picture: I am not 100% sure but I think the man seated at the end of the conference table is Arturo (the other persons seated are Verónica and probably Vaquero and the man standing and talking to him is probably Enrique, the new director). Beside this, Antena 3 announced they'd be posting over three days at the beginning of the coming week some "exclusive content" (pictures? clips? webisodes?) to introduce the new characters to the audience. That certainly refers to the three new teachers. We'll see if Susana, David's ex, is included.

So back to Javier Quintas' tweets, live from chapter 74 in production, with some really serious stuff going on today: "heavy" as they say in Spanish ;D And lots of ruthless teasing by Señor Quintas too. Day of shooting started in Fer and David's bedroom [yeeeessss, they do live together now]: there is a crane, a HotHead, Fer and David, "and someone else?", in their bedroom, and some sleeping/dreaming of course. Then as he was about to finish with the first sequences in the bedroom, he tweeted: "it's on to the Zurbarán, where we'll continue with David's nightmares" The idea is to treat David's dream sequences with special lighting and camera effects. Also, this will be the first day that Quintas has Sabrina Garciarena (the new philosophy teacher) in front of his camera. Which probably means this will be her début on the show. Andrea Duro is also involved in the shooting schedule for the day, probably later. Javier Quintas confirms Season 7 will start airing in early May, less than a month from now. He promises a (pleasant) surprise in the material Antena 3 will put online on Wednesday. PS: Àlex Batllori has recently started on Twitter as well, same as Andrea Duro (Álex Hernández is there as well), and I find this very promising. Here they are, with Sandra Blázquez, hiding out this morning in a dressing-room while the chief of production is looking for them.

And, the first of the three promised updates is up on the Antena 3 website, here: www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/noticias/asi-gasta-nuevo-director-yoli_2011041100039.htmlIt's an "avance", so a sneakpreview, probably of Chapter 71 (7x01). It shows Yoli's first contact with Enrique, the new director, and it's NOT good. Fer, David and Román are there too, same as Alma and Salva. She loses an ear ring, bends over to look for it. And thus the thong she is wearing under her jeans is showing. Enrique zooms on it and comes up to scold her: "E: Would you mind standing up, Miss? Y: Hi! E: Wearing a thong, Miss! Y: I'm sorry! E: And you think that's a way to dress for school! Y: What's wrong with my way to dress? E: That it's improper to come to school wearing your work uniform. (Face of David!!) ;D F: Here, sweetie, your missing ear ring. It was... Y: What did he mean to tell me, Fer? F: This guy?... nothing, I don't think you should... Y: Fer, what did he mean to say? F: Nothing, sweetie, come on, let's go. Y: Tell me, tell me, cause I don't know if I got him right. F: Let's go."

As promised, today brings a second "avance" of Season 7, again probably from 7x01, this time to introduce Xavi, the new art teacher: www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/noticias/xavi-arrasa-llegada-zurban_2011041202078.htmlThe entry expands on the basic profile of this new character: committed to his work as an educator, keen on contemporary street art, he is fresh, modern and provocative. Big emphasis also on how sexy he is ;D The actor Juan Pablo Di Pace is from Argentina, but has been working in Spain for some time. The notice says he is a "tío de barrio" (like David , so that probably means the character will be Spanish, as opposed to Ricardo last season, or Sara in the upcoming one. PS: Javier Quintas mentioned they had been working on the musical selection for the sound track, that seems to be the case. PPS: Javier Calvo wrote yesterday on Twitter: "The new season, I know you're all very very curious about it, it's fantastic. I'm having the time of my life shooting it. I believe it will be my favorite."

Briefly, it is confirmed Enrique Arce continues in Season 7 as Arturo. As can be seen from this: plixi.com/p/91808911an announcement to the press for a session of photos and interviews with the whole cast and this: plixi.com/p/91837509the first official picture of Season 7 As anticipated, both Cristina Alcázar and Sergio Mur are gone. Jorge's replacement arrives in episode 1. Marina's only in episode 4, apparently. So it is possible she appears at the beginning of the season. In any case, her departure from the Zurbarán and Arturo's stay will probably be explained.

More spoilers in connection with yesterday's encounter with the press on the set of Física o Química. This comes from laesceneacool.com which turned out to be very reliable last year. This is based on interviews with cast members, which will be published later. www.laescenacool.com/2011/04/13/potentes-tramas-y-nuevos-personajes-para-la-7%C2%BA-temporada-de-fisica-o-quimica/- The series has experienced a complete makeover for Season 7; it might be said it's gone back to its roots, with edgier storylines, more mature and rather more extreme. - Álvaro and Jon (who's recovered from his fall down the stairs but still has recurring fits of amnesia) will be the ringleaders in a gang of Bullies (sic) who will make life at the Zurbarán a living hell for a number of students, Salva chief among them. According to the performer, Álex Martínez, he'll suffer the insufferable [uh oh, is this going where I think it is going?] and will live through very painful situations, and his only support will be his two friends (from last season) Yoli and Fer. - Fer continues at the Zurbarán but as a "free student" or "auditor", i.e. not studying for grades or exams. This means he took his "selectivity" exams as planned, but didn't get good enough grades to do what he wanted to do, i.e. study Audio-Visual Communication at the University. So he'll take Selectividad again next June, after another year of preparation. He spent a wonderful summer in San Francisco [right! ;D I certainly hope this means they spent the summer together. ] and his relationship with David is currently as happy as it has ever been. [We'll see if that lasts.] - New rivalries will appear. Alma, who continues at school in order to achieve better grades for the scholarship she needs, feels devastated and weakened after what happened last year. She'll form a strong alliance with Yoli to oppose Daniela and Teresa, who'll be more united than ever. - Teresa has turned into a regular bad girl after being betrayed last season. She wants to be feared and "respected", so she's taken up smoking, drinking and she'll be the biggest slut of them all. This puts her on a collision course with her mother, Verónica, who sees her daughter repeating her own behaviour and mistakes as a teenager and tries to make her change her ways, with very little success. - A major event is the arrival of the new director, Enrique. Appointed by the stockholders in order to fix the chaos and disorder in the Zurbarán, he comes with a mission: restore order and bring everyone back to focus on studying. So no more hanky-panky between students and teachers, no more PDA in the hallways, no more sleeping around among the faculty. Enrique is strict, unpleasant and acid, the performer Fernando Andina compares him to Dr House. Olimpia is bound to give him battle. Among the students, he'll be the meanest with Yoli, whom he sees as a cheap low-life whore. His main mistake, initially, will be hiring two new teachers who are completely antithetical with his views, Xavi and Sara. - Sara is brought back from South America by Vaquero. He met her there over the summer, they fell in love and got married in Patagonia. [ ;D]. She'll have no problem connecting with her students: she has no secrets, as Irene used to have, nor prejudices, like Marina. - Xavi is going to foster his students' most rebellious streak, encouraging them to paint graffitis. He'll be Verónica's new love-interest, and will soon move into her flat, which they will share with the new married couple of Vaquero and Sara. [uh oh, there we go again] - So, in conclusion, less sex, more drama. Included in the makeover, are new lighting, new music, new shooting techniques. The series seems to want to target a more adult audience. -

Just to correct something I wrote the other day about Sara arriving on the show only in 7x04. I misinterpreted a tweet by Quintas. It turns out that she appears as early as 7x01 as can be seen here: And so does Vaquero (it even looks he's sporting Paulino's moustache ;D). So Marc must have found a window that allowed him to do work on the set of FoQ, even before shooting ended on La voz dormida. So this makes it less likely Cristina Alcázar will put in an appearance as Marina early on. Beside this, since this morning, Javier Quintas is shooting (for episode 7x04) a scene on location (an open air market specially put together for the occasion) with Olimpia and Enrique.

And sure enough, the third and final sneakpreview for Season 7 (and 7x01) this week is about Sara: www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/noticias/llega-sara-mujer-vaquero_2011041402121.htmlor here: After she walks into the faculty room and kisses Arturo, Xavi and Olimpia, the latter asks: O: Excuse me, who are you? S: Er... I'm Sara. I'm looking for Vicente Vaquero, he's my husband. (Olimpia snaps a DVD in two and erupts into nervous laughter.) PS: here is the foursome soon to share Vaquero's and Verónica's flat

On Twitter, Ana Milán indicated that Season 7 would start airing the first week of May. She also mentioned there would be a theatre premiere like for previous seasons. There have been rumors of a possible switch from Tuesday to Wednesday, in which case the date for broadcast of the first episode would be May 4. This is still unconfirmed. Finally, just for fun, a photo tweeted by Javier Quintas yesterday afternoon: Wow! PS: Javier Quintas also said that we'd learn (probably in 7x01) what had happened with Marina.

So I naïvely thought we were done for a while with spoilers. But not so! Today, Antena 3 posted a very short clip promoting the online presence of FoQ, including on various social networks. www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/noticias/conectate-fisica-quimica_2011041502072.htmlor here In this 25 second clip, there is not much new material. Mostly it is about Teresa in her new "bad girl" role (which includes doing it with Álvaro in a bathroom cubicle). But WHAT? Jon is doing it with Daniela in a bathroom cubicle. WHAT??? JON CAN NOW WALK! ;D (at 00:20)

A couple of things from Javier Quintas' tweets:
today was a whole day of shooting on location (still on 7x04), this morning on a terraced roof, with a HotHead and other machinery; this afternoon was simpler and less stressful, scenes in a parc with David, Fer and Yoli.

Not even the weekend is a spoiler-free zone. In the 9:00 p.m. weekend news show on Antena 3, yesterday Saturday, April 16, a story focused on the rooftop location shoot mentioned by Javier Quintas Friday morning (part of chapter 74, aka 7x04). He had sent a twitter alert earlier yesterday. This will probably show up on You Tube at some point but for now the whole show is currently online on the Antena 3 website, "modo Salón" www.antena3.com/videos/fin-de-semana-completo/2011-abril-16.html(go to segment 3, it's right at the beginning and lasts less than two minutes) The story is about a lady who let her house to the FoQ production team for a few hours (€1,200 to €1,500 a day). Álvaro wants to jump off the roof and various fellow students (Alma, Jon) as well as Arturo try to convince him not to. Álvaro says he's fed up to be less than (Jon?) and standing on the edge, he yells: You think I don't have the balls (to jump)? and Arturo tries to pacify him: Álvaro, listen to me, you're not less than anybody. Apparently, Arturo succeeds. Visibly, Jon is in his wheelchair here. So what we saw in the short clip put online on Friday remains a mystery. PS: for real "frikis" ;D, we now know who played the mayor in the non-wedding sequence last year, his name is Jaime García, he's production assistant on the show and he'd already had a cameo before (he was one of the textbook salesmen in Season 3).

Also some spoilers in the latest issue of Overlay magazine overlaymagazine.com/blog/anteriores/revista-actual/which has a long interview of Andrea Duro (plus a nice photo spread). She talks about her movie career which is really taking off, and her attachment to the character of Yoli (it's now been more than three years for her). She also discussed the current shooting of Season 7 of FoQ, and she dropped a major bomb ;D: Q: How is it going with the shooting of the new season of Física o Química? A: Well, we're shooting season 7 right now, there is a lot of fresh air in this new season, there are some new teachers, the students remain the same except for Úrsula and Angy who said goodbye last season. There are lots of different levels and I'd be so bold as to say, we are Skins. Q: So we'll be seeing a big change? A: Let me put it this way, we're making the show we fancy. What had been "censored" is back, and that's what made FoQ such a hit at the beginning. Q:So, FoQ is recovering its essence. A: Yes, it's back to showing the reality of the young. Of course, I won't say all the young because they are not, well, we are not, all like that. But yes, rebelling against everything, arguing with each other, fights, drugs, sex, and that's the way it is, and those who don't want to accept that, it's because they are not humans. Q: We've read that someone will die. A: But how can that be! We haven't even shot that yet! But yes, someone is going to die. Because as you well know, in FoQ, we love to kill off characters. It will be a very tragic, very "heavy" death. Furthermore, it happens with a very close [ cercano] character, and it's a topic which has occurred not long ago in another country...And that's all I can tell you... Q: What will happen to Yoli this season? A: The truth is, she's very serene, she'll be helping Salva a lot and she'll be spending lots of time with David and with Fer. She won't have a boyfriend [love interest], she'll be very good friends with Román after all that's happened, but you'll be seeing her without a boyfriend. She'll be having some friction with one of the new "bad girls", who are not new characters but will turn into rebels, and she'll be involved in some fights. NB: in her first answer, Andrea says "Hay muchos planos diferentes", which I translated by "There are lots of different levels" but it could also refer to the new look of the show, with a faster, more nervous editing style.
