Maybe because the audience numbers have begun moving in the right direction again, the official website is beginning to build up the expectation for the big chapter 75 showdown: www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/noticias/tragedia-zurbaran_2011051900043.html(so it is a school hostage taking kind of deal, after all) Tragedy strikes in the Zurbarán"Things get more difficult in the Zurbarán. The police has cordoned off the area, the school is surrounded, and fear has seized those who stand watching outside the building. Someone armed has entered the school, has blocked all exits with chains and seems ready to spread havoc inside the school. A rifle is all we see. Outside the police is cordoning off the area and ICU paramedics are soon at hand. At first no one is hurt but then a shot can be heard. What is going on? What is the meaning of all this? Who's behind this rifle? who? How? and most importantly why?

After breaking for lunch, Javier Quintas is back with his team to work on production for chapter 77. Just to post this picture of Paula from the Set Design Department, trying out Román's camera: It interests me because the couch is one of those in Fer and David's flat. (They were sitting on it in the "You're the boy in my dreams" scene.) So that set (or location) is still being used in chapter 77.

Again, in Fervid's flat, for chapter 77, this time, it's Román and Teresa, who are supposed to take a picture of themselves during that scene. Does this mean they are getting serious? We know Fer won't appear in the sequence, let's see if David shows up at some point. Plus for the real "frikis", here is a picture taken outside the flat, on a Madrid street. yfrog.com/h72jydsjThe tent is used to protect all the video and sound monitors when shooting on location.

firens, so does Fer ( Javier Calvo) have any scenes in chapter 77? why is that? I thought Quintas tweeted that he has few scenes, but he is going to be in chapter 77 for sure...
And I also want to thank you for your posts, they are so interesting and nice to read! Grasias!!

Today is going to be a busy hectic day for production on chapter 77, so Javier Quintas and his team got off to an early start. It's going to be a series of choral sequences with all the characters on set. There is going to be a strike at the Zurbarán. Are teachers and students going to be on the same side? While the extras are getting briefed, actors are having snacks:

Rehearsing for a scene where teachers and students share a same spirit of revolt. Yoli is the students' ringleader. Javier Quintas directing (Álex Martínez took the picture) Still no Fer. To a follower once again expressing his fears, Javier Quintas has just responded "Fer will appear in chapter 77, I assure you".

Thank you for the link. It is a pretty uncanny coincidence, and it's quite remarkable for a TV show to be so much in touch with the spirit of the times. Javier Calvo and Javier Quintas (and others from the team) have tweeted their support to the movement and their opposition to the Election Board declaring illegal the demonstration that was planned for tomorrow Saturday "Day of Reflection". The shooting day (and week) has just ended. The fact that Quintas didn't tweet any photos this afternoon would make one think he didn't want to let anything leak about the sequences they just shot. ;D He did post this picture of himself with Juanma R. Pachón, another director for FoQ, among others, chapters 72 & 75.

And... Javier Calvo Sr just tweeted that he'll be on set on Tuesday May 17 and Wednesday May 18 (presumably to shoot his sequences for chapter 77) and that he intends to live tweet along with Javier Quintas and they'll take questions for the actors.

Ooops, thanks for pointing that out Yes, next week, Tuesday May 24 and Wednesday, May 25 we'll have two Javiers tweeting from the set. Hopefully, the third one will join as well. There is one thing Javier Quintas tweeted the other day which is important information: he said that for each episode, the director has 15 days of preparation, 9 days of shooting (it seems they often go over schedule) and about 10 days for editing and postproduction. That is the motive behind the 3 director system. For this season, they are Javier Quintas (ch. 71, 74 & 77), Juanma R. Pachón (ch. 72, 75 & presumably 78) and Alexandra Graf (ch. 73, 76 & presumably 79) who's a newbie on FoQ but did a lot of work for El Internado. She's also the first woman to have worked as a director for this series.

From 10 minutes ago, we have now also live images of the camped people in Barcelona (plaça Catalunya) www.ustream.tv/channel/acampadosbcnThis is the web page of the Movimiento 15M in the town where I live, Alicante. With live images of the campers: democraciarealyaalicante.blogspot.com/The Election Board forbade the campings in the squares today and tomorrow, day of local and regional elections. In some town campers are being expeled, but despite what decided the Election Board, campers continue in the squares, as can be seen in the live images, over all in Madrid. I also desagree with this decision, because the Election Law forbide to do demostrations or meetings for or against a political party, but the campers talk about politics in general, and not about a concrete party.

This picture, tweeted by Javier Quintas from a still quite crowded Puerta del Sol in Madrid less than an hour ago, where he is taking a walk (possibly with his wife) in the focal point of the May 15 Movement. And Javier Calvo Sr. has tweeted one yesterday night, with the caption: "This is the revolution"

First day of the week and back to work for the second (and presumably last) week of production on chapter 77. This morning seems to be the continuation of what they were doing at the end of last week, with more havoc in the Zurbarán: Once again, the whole cast is involved, with the probable exception of Adri and Javi.

All right, first big spoiler of the day for us. This morning Adrián is there. and wearing his "suicide shoes" ;D Next to him, Álex Martínez. From the partial shots of improvised posters, it appears the strike and revolt have been caused by Enrique unveiling his plans for the school: tear it down and develop the property. This accounts for slogans denouncing "speculation". PS: from his Twitter, Àlex Batllori has the day off (might be still away from Madrid)

Speaking of which, we interrupt our regular programming, for the latest avance/sneak preview/teaser about the "tragedy" in chapter 75: www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/noticias/tragica-muerte-sacude-zurbaran_2011052300198.htmlA tragic death shakes the Zurbarán"The worst omens are coming true, and apparently someone's hours are numbered in the Zurbarán and he'll fall victim to a tragic murder." (The entry refers to the fact that a number of fans, on FB and elsewhere, asked just for this: well, that should teach them ;D) "In any case, what's certain is that from now on, nothing will ever be the same again, but who will the victim or victims be of this tragic event?" In the clip: "Someone is out of control... There is no way out... Everyone is at risk And not everyone will survive..."

Back to our regular programming for now, although it's bound to look a bit anticlimactic... Ana Milán and Juan Pablo di Pace are taking advantage of a short break between takes. Álex Martínez and Enrique Arce also during a short break Ana Milán doing her best impression of Javier Quintas ;D and tweeted by Ana Milán, here are Fernando Andina, Enrique Arce and Javier Quintas

What this means I guess, is that we get one more source of pictures for the next two days... Speaking of which Javier Calvo Sr just tweeted back to the #foq_oficial alarm about the poll we were talking about on the Spoilers Discussion thread: "well, methinks the one who dies is the one carrying the gun" ;D
