And it looks like chapter 77 will be the last one. Chapter script has been rewritten.
There are a lot of recent tweets from Javi Calvo Jr. to this theme.

All right, so, Javi's tweets seem to confirm that what came out on formulatv is correct. In fact the crew got the bad news from Antena 3 about two weeks ago. At that point, I thought it meant they had heard Season 7 would be the last one. And I chose not to post about it since they kept on working as if nothing was the matter. What it comes down to is rather different: As Javi says, "end of a cycle, end of an era". Confronted with what they feel are poor results (based on the first two episodes which they decided to show on the worst day of the week ), Antena 3 has decided to cut short Season 7 which will only have seven chapters, instead of nine. In other words, what Javier Quintas is currently shooting will be the season finale. As Javi pointed out, the writers have rewritten chapters 76 and 77 accordingly, so we will have resolutions. Everything left (74, 75, 76 & 77) will air on Wednesdays at 22:45, just like chapter 73 did last week. Now Antena 3 is also announcing they will be moving FoQ to Neox, a DT channel which is the second largest in the Antena 3 group, with a programming (lots of reruns and movies) that's particularly aimed at younger audiences. Now this is not so clear: there is mention of "redoing" FoQ on Neox, Javi suggests it would be some kind of Season 8, but apparently everything remains to be decided and negotiated between Ida y vuelta, the producing company, and Antena 3. I suppose the numbers for the rest of the season will have relevance on those decisions.

could someone please tell me what that link is about, my spanish is not that good Its just saying that Fisica o Quimica has been cut to 7 episodes And that Antena 3 would not show another season But possibly another channel who targets young audience would take it. Now what Im doubtful is that, it feels like they want to recast Fisca o quimica....kind of do it like DEGRASSI NEXT GENERATION. But maybe its just my imagination. Fisica o Quimica didnt have the rating that they expected, less than the 10% Another thing is that Fisica o Quimica has crossed the atlantic and Telemundo is taking it. and thats more or less the summary.

An early start for the day of production of chapter 77, with Ana Milán, Fernando Andina and Lorena Mateo doing a scene together. From the beginning last week, Javier Quintas had noted this was now a "bittersweet" task. Now that the news is out, we'll see if he'll be more explicit (as far as I know, he's still scheduled for a videochat next week). Meanwhile Javier Calvo Sr has confirmed on Twitter that what we heard yesterday night was the news he had had for a while but couldn't tell. As to the Neox option, he says the possibility to make an 8th Season there will be up to the fans, which means, I suppose, higher ratings for the remaining episodes and an active campaign online and via social networks (the show's official page is very close to 500,000 followers on FB). But he claims that in any case the writers have made it so that the current season and the show will have a proper finale. We should hear more from him as the day goes on and he appears on set. Finally, for now, yesterday evening, Juan Pablo de Pace tweeted about a scene he shot at the end of the schedule for the day with Ana Milán, Andrea Duro and Adrián Rodríguez. He joined this photo of Javier Quintas directing: On the blackboard, "hispanoface" refers to one of Adrián's many musical identities over the years (he was already playing David by that point).

Just tweeted by Javier Quintas, the info that shooting for chapter 77 (so in effect for Season 7) will end on Monday, May 30 with some on location sequences. So they will end work on the set this week.
NB: any sequence in Fer and David's bedroom is in effect on set; whereas, all sequences in the rest of the flat (the main room) are on location.

So shooting on location today, and the few pics posted for now by Quintas suggest it's going to be in Vaquero's flat, the new location Quintas sent a picture of a few days ago. This would explain the presence of Sabrina Garciarena: Now, the cop on the right is none other than Jaime Vaca, head writer for the show and part of the team from Day 1. (The other cop is the boom operator) Behind them, are Javier Calvo Sr and an actress (and singer and director) called Melida Molina (whom Quintas knows from his days on El Comisario). Both already shot together yesterday on the set of the Zurbarán. Could it be that it's been found out (reported) that Sara's marriage to Vaquero was phony so she risks deportation, because she has no right to work in Spain? This would bring to a head her relation with Vaquero... So the other two episodic characters could work for Immigration.

OK, so I was right, it's Vaquero's flat. There he is, hanging a "dreamcatcher" ( VL, anyone?) from the ceiling. His mother Amelia is about to show up... twitpic.com/52a02z

So the videochat with Enrique Arce (Arturo) and Lucía Ramos (Teresa) brought a few interesting details on what's still to come:
- re chapter 75, Enrique Arce gave a clear breakdown of the action: Toño comes to the school with a gun and the first to attract his rage are, not surprisingly, Jon and Álvaro, as well as Alma who, it seems, has become closer again to Álvaro in the chapter, after the big breakthrough for Álvaro and Jon in chapter 74. Arturo also gets involved and is confronted early on with the gunman. - others get involved later; Verónica for instance is wounded in a later phase - Olimpia, Román, Teresa and Fer are outside the school when Toño first goes berserk and blocks all exits. As we saw in the second teaser, Teresa and Fer manage to get into the building after dark. - one of the consequences of the "tragedy" will be the reconciliation of Teresa with her mother. - we saw in the 2nd teaser Arturo is struck on the forehead with the stock of the gun; Enrique Arce said that Víctor Palmero actually hit him ;D
Finally, Enrique Arce announced that "over 75% of all past characters" will be there to bid farewell to Física o Química, presumably in chapter 77.

One more picture from yesterday morning's choral shoot for chapter 77 (the Zurbarán on strike), this one tweeted by Juan Pablo di Pace (Xavi), a nice portrait of Ana Milán Disappointingly, Sabrina Garciarena didn't tweet pictures from today's shoot in which she took part. Àlex Battlori returned from Barcelona this afternoon to go back to work tomorrow. There are still three entire days of production left for chapter 77 (supposing they won't work on the weekend).

Didn't make a special post for the sneak preview for tonight's chapter 74. It's here: www.antena3.com/series/fisica-o-quimica/avance-fisica-o-quimica/xavi-culo-inquieto_2011051800214.htmlIt's all about the trio situation between Verónica, Sara and Xavi. With a gratuitous bare ass shot of Xavi for Verónica's benefit. It is meant, like Javier Quintas tweeted this evening, as an homage to a similar shot from Season 1, where Irene played voyeur too. This is now the preview for the formidable chapter 75 next week, at the end of chapter 74. David : I’ve asked for a transfer to Salamanca. Fer : Go to hell, you asshole ! Verónica (to Sara ) : How can one be so mean ! Xavi (to Verónica) : Verónica, what the fuck is wrong with you ? Verónica (to Sara) : I’m not leaving until you acknowledge you’re upset I’m with Xavi. Xavi kisses Sara on the cheek. David (to Fer) : You’re mad because I’m not begging you to come back ? David and Fer kiss passionately (they are apparently naked) Alma kisses Álvaro Teresa in tears hugs Román at night outside the school. Toño blocks the main gate with a chain then he starts shooting into the classroom where are Verónica and Sara. Yoli ducks in a panic. Verónica is shot in the shoulder. Jon (finding the gate blocked) : SHIT ! TVNews Announcer : The Zurbarán high school in Madrid has been taken over by armed individuals. The school is cordoned off, and a SWAT team arrives. Toño shoots his gun in the gym, aiming at the ceiling : David, Sara and Yoli duck, while Verónica is lying on the floor. Jon is crying. Alma is cowering. Teresa enters the school at night, followed by armed police. Arturo goes down, struck in the forehead by Toño with the butt of his rifle. Toño : Get out of here, or I’ll kill you, you fool ! Álvaro (terrified, to Alma) :… Alma (to Toño, with Salva next to her) : Don’t shoot ! Toño shoots into the biology class. Álvaro (cowering next to Jon, to Toño) : You’re crazy, or what ? Arturo (to Toño) : Lower your gun, and we can talk quietly ! Toño is crying but doesn’t drop his gun. Olimpia outside is very upset. Salva locks the door of the boys’ bathroom from the inside. We discover Jon inside. Toño is trying to get in. Jon (to Salva) : Don’t start! I am a fool, OK ? Fer (distraught) : I’ve never been so miserable in my whole life ! Álvaro (to Alma) : And if we were about to die, you wouldn’t regret anything ? Teresa (very upset, to Xavi, outside by day) : You’re thinking about your fucking concert and I’ve seen my mother for the last time ! (Vaquero and Fer are there) David (howling in horror) : NOOOOOOOO ! A shot is heard. Álvaro is on the floor but alive. Alma, Olimpia, Enrique, Sara, Teresa, Yoli (in a quick montage) are in shock. Álvaro grabs Toño’s gun and tries to take it away from him. The gun goes off and Toño is shot. A body is covered with some foil. A stretcher is placed into an ICU Mobile van.

And now the sinopsis and some early pictures for chapter 75, for now only on the mizonatv.com blog foq.mizonatv.com/sinopsis-e-imagenes-del-capitulo-7%C3%9705-75-de-fisica-o-quimica-nunca-te-olvides-de-mi-nombre/#more-1328Chapter 75 (7x05): Don't you ever forget my nameFer and David's splitup seems to allow for no way back. At least, that's what Fer thinks as he sees that David has accepted the separation with complete resignation. And this is very upsetting to him, as he tells his friends in confidence. So that if he is still in doubt, he'll be the one who'll have to take a step to try it again. This time, however, it is David who's no longer willing to suffer more uncertainties.Teresa, in turn, is very perplexed after finding out that Alma is working in a gentlemen's club. Since she's undertaken to return to the ways of virtue, she won't share the news with Daniela, but she doesn't know what to do with it. Annoyed at Román's incredulity for her desire to change, she tells him what's happened with Alma, so that he will understand why she didn't apologize to her. Someone else finds out, however... Precisely the person who's loved Alma the most: Álvaro. Teresa also wants to fix things with her mother, but this doesn't seem easy either. After sleeping with Xavi, Verónica is not willing to share him with Sara. Her obsession will cause her to neglect her daughter and to confront Sara in a disproportionate way. It won't take long for her to realise that, behind all this, are her personal demons, unsettled accounts with her past, that may lead her to lose the things that really matter. Meanwhile, Olimpia is beginning to discover Enrique's more human side, after he acknowledged he'd been taught a lesson by her effort to make Peque come back to the school. She's clearly starting to like him. But she still has to find out the one detail that will show her Enrique at his most tender, although this will cause for her a new conflict. Jon and Álvaro's gang still is the most feared in the whole school. They are ruthless, including with the very members of the group, particularly with Toño, a suffering student who won't let himself be helped either by his parents or by the teachers. He's in a living hell, locked in it by his own choice, and for this hell, Jon and Álvaro, supposed to be his friends, are, in his opinion, responsible. This will lead him to make a decision that will cause all the storylines to merge into a thrilling and angstful adventure, in which everything will be put at risk for each and all the characters. Everything... including their own lives. A few pics from the standoff in the gym:

OK, since hope dies last ;D, let me quote a tweet from Javier Quintas just before signing off half an hour ago: "Good night everybody. Going to sleep since tomorrow morning 8:30 we're shooting love scenes" And he promised there would be pictures.
Obviously last time he mentioned a love scene, it didn't turn out so great, but let's hope this time it will be for real.

More pictures from the shoot of chapter 77. Back on the set of the Zurbarán. Already the third sequence of the day. (They started very early.) It seems everybody is in a better mood because ratings and share went up again last night in spite of the episode starting half an hour later than scheduled (because of ad time) and the very limited promotion the show was given on air by Antena 3 over the past few days.

More from the Zurbarán set, production of chapter 77, with a few "younger" characters rehearsing their lines: Andrea Duro, Álex Martínez and Lucía Ramos Visibly, the strike is still going on at the Zurbarán. As a follower was expressing his relief at seeing Yoli was not the victim in chapter 75, Quintas sadistically tweeted back: maybe someone has just come to the set on a visit.

Plus, also from Quintas, this photo of Juanma Pachón at work, checking the sound track of chapter 75, which he directed. We can clearly see Toño holding his gun and standing by the door of the gym.

All right, from Tweeter, a few minutes ago, it appears that Javier Calvo will be part of the last day of production, the location shoot, on Monday May 30. Juan Pablo di Pace will be in it too, which I guess could make sense since he's Fer and David's landlord.
Furthermore, Javier Calvo Sr confirmed that in chapter 77 he appears as someone from Immigration along with Melida Molina. So that confirms the theory that the shoot in Vaquero's flat yesterday has to do with Sara's status, and probably the future of the school.

Today, final day of shooting on the set of the Zurbarán, so it is of course very emotional, behind and in front of the camera. Javier Quintas' photos so far are showing various crew members, many of whom, if not all, have been working on Física o Química since the beginning (2007). For instance, here is coming Sabrina Garciarena's last sequence: In his tweets today, however, Javier Quintas seems much more positive and optimistic about the Neox option: he now says it is "very likely". Improved ratings are certainly one factor, and the social network push which has only just begun will probably figure in too. (On FB, the show is close to the 500,000 mark and it's quite a unique phenomenon in Spain.) PS: Beside Sabrina Garciarena, Ana Milán, Lorena Mateo, Fernando Andina, Àlex Batllori and Álex Hernández are there for sure.

Tweeted just now by Javier Quintas, for chapter 77 and last, a scene that reveals tensions within the Vaquero family, but Sara is there too: And one more of Marc, who in a nice twist seems to be going back to his Paulino look:
