As far as subbing the entire show.. I would love to watch it completely subbed.. but from a subbers point of view it is so much work if you don't speak the language. It takes me long enough to just do the fer and david scenes. I couldn't imagine trying to the whole episode which is about 60-70 minutes long.

will you be posting the first ep of the new season with subs on you tube? if so were?

Sorry I've been a little slow with my subbing.. its hard to keep up when its not my native tongue.

Yes I know other channels also sub Fer/David scenes, and upload them faster than me.. I guess its up to you who'se you like more. fisoquimfan and ivanyjulia's channels are both run by spanish speaking people whose second language is english. FOr me... No I don't speak spanish but I have a wonderful translator who is fluent in both and I often americanize certain phrases to make it easier to understand.

I'm sorry i'm being a pain... It just bugs me when people get mad that I don't upload fast enough.. that's all.


And sometimes I feel that These other subbers are only doing it for viewers and subscribers when I truly care about these characters and this story and love what I am doing. Unlike some youtubers, I read every comment, reply to every question or message and accept every friend request! I like to get to know the other fans of the show that I have become very attached to over the past year and I love when people discover it for the first time!

Once again.. I'm sorry for venting.. Thank you so much to all those who have supported me and stuck by me even when i'm not the fastest uploader on the web.

Ah, sorry, I just realized I got it wrong. FisOQuimFan on Youtube is not jgreens2. I always thought it was. Both sites are great. It's nice there are quite a few channels dedicated to this great show. Really appreciate the hard works.

Hey guys... SO as some of you know... I've somehow lost contact with my usual translator... and I've been having a really hard time finding someone who can translate for me. I am behind on the episodes. I'm only up to the middle of episode 5 so far but I would like to finish the season before season 6. I know a lot of accounts were taken down that had subtitles. If anyone could possibly send me their translations or is willing to send me transcriptions of fer and david scenes from the episodes it would be a huge help. Even if you can only help me out for an episode it would still be a tremendous help.

Although I am not a native speaker, I thought I would provide a translation for the most important scenes of the season finale. Let's start with the bathroom scene:

As I promised today in the General Discussion thread, here follows the English dialogue for the scene between Fer and Ruth from Chapter 69 (06x13). This is right after David has given Fer as a birthday present a CD with a song they both liked, using as a cover a photo of the two of them; and right before Fer gives David a chance to declare his feelings by playing that song on his radio show.



(Úrsula appears to be cursed. Just like the infamous "bucle" (loop) that occurred in the early minutes when this episode aired on Spanish TV last month, almost all versions of the scene I could find online have a similar defect: a segment is repeated two or three times, so that another part is missing. My translation follows the correct dialogue, which can be heard here

Ruth: What you got is an awful mess, Fer.
Fer (he has been crying): Thing is, I don't bloody understand it. Every time it's clear in my head, he comes and sabotages it all.

Fer: Me? And why is it that when I got everything clear about Borja, David comes and has one of those attentions for me... Why the fuck didn't he make that kind of effort when I asked him to?
Ruth: Fer, David is not making more or less efforts now than he used to. You're the one hanging from each and every smallest thing he does.

So this is a scene which from Javier Calvo's point of view is a "disaster", in terms of his acting. I'd say this has to do with what he said at some other point of his chat, that in his view Fer as a character is (or has become) very strong and resilient. By a funny coincidence, this fits right in with a recent post on afterelton.com about gay characters as sissies and victims, with an interesting interview of Marc Indelicato (Justin on Ugly Betty) talking about his character and Glee's Kurt.
