When Producer/Director Marut Sarowat ( 'Brothers The Series') first announced that he'd obtained the rights to the original 'Love Syndrome III' novel and was preparing to make it into a series, it was met with disbelief due to the book's adult content which heavily features multiple rapes and a Stockholm Syndrome relationship. It's actually based on the amalgam third novel of a famous but contentious adult BL anthology series by author Yeonim that features the same central characters - two brothers called Day and Night. At the time Marut said that he would be isolating this story from the events of the earlier volumes and would make it as a stand-alone series but declined to comment on how the actual storyline would be adapted. It's been mentioned over in the Hub a few times just how problematic the original plotline would be to film as it covers a fairly toxic relationship that evolves from a retaliatory rape of one of the main characters (Itt) after he had played an instrumental part in the rape of the other character's younger brother (Night). Some early statements from the production company implied that the rape element had been replaced by a knifing incident, but the trailer now seems to indicate that the central relationship has become toxic due to a personality disorder caused by a car accident, however there is nothing official to say exactly what adaptions have been made to the original source material. The series actually marks the return of Frank Thanatsaran to acting following his red card military service and he will play the main role of Itt alongside Lee Long Shi ( 'Even Sun', 'That's My Candy') as Day. They are supported by Rossi Nonthakorn ( 'On Cloud Nine', 'Once In A Memory') as Night, Kokliang Parinya ( 'TharnType', 'The Best Twins') as Nik and Non Ratchanon ( 'Love Stage!', 'Friend Forever') as Mac. • Frank Thanatsaran as Itt • Lee Long Shi as Day • Rossi Nonthakorn as Night • Kokliang Parinya as Nik • Non Ratchanon as Mac • Heart Chindanai as NanSynopsis (which is far removed from that of the original book reads): "An unexpected accident left Day with serious injuries, making Itt blame himself for what happened to him. What will Itt do when Day wakes up with no memory at all and the person who used to be so caring and so loving to him has now become so ruthless? Itt's guilt makes him vow to himself - No matter what it takes, I must be patient with Day".Here's the MyDramaList page Teaser: Trailer: There is still no announced date yet for the premiere, although a fourth quarter release was originally scheduled.

Here's the original posters that were used to promote the cast announcement. Just adding them here as I think they are much nicer than the latest one! Frank was still showing the remnants of his army buzzcut and IMHO looks much better here than he does in the awful wig they gave him later on.

I don't remember seeing either Love syndrome series one or two You haven't missed anything dmagiclight. There are no earlier series. The number just refers to the order in which the books were written. It's the third book that is being used as the source for the series, so they've retained the III to let folk know which story has been filmed.

Hi where do I read the eng translation? Unfortunately there isn't one, at least not an official one. To my knowledge there isn't currently a fan-translated version either. That could always change, of course, but since the original novel is deemed to have some quite toxic tropes with numerous rapes and a central relationship based on a Stockholm Syndrome scenario. I don't think there's many folk who are likely to invest their time translating a book that is now widely frowned upon. Your best bet is just to keep an eye on places like Wattpad or NovelUpdates. Maybe once the series starts there might be more interest from people in the original novel?

will this be on there YouTube channel It's never been announced that it will get a YT showing. Amarin TV34 hold the domestic rights for Thailand and don't usually add English subs to any of the shows they do put on their own channel. VIU hold the international rights and I can't see them putting it on YT as they will be wanting folks to watch it on their own viewing platform. The producer could always put it on YT independently, though I suspect it would need to be a cut version to satisfy YT's community rules. I'm only guessing though.

Amarin TV34 have announced that their online rerun will happen via WeTV, so now very unlikely (though still not impossible) that this will appear on YouTube.

Although the first episode premiered domestically on Amarin TV34 Thailand around a couple of hours ago, it will apparently not be made available on WeTV until tomorrow.
In the meantime, here's the trailer for Episode 2:

Is there no way of at least finding the novels? I realize that the content is VERY unseemly but I would like to know the backstory of the characters that the actors are portraying. It's hard to understand the story just based on what I have seen from the series so far. I know it's probably not possible but I can at least ask, right?

It's hard to understand the story just based on what I have seen from the series so far. I know it's probably not possible but I can at least ask, right? There is an ongoing English translation on Wattpad. It's only in the early stages and (as far as I know) is not concentrating on any of the events in the series story since its covering one of the earlier novels. There is apparently a much more advanced Portuguese language version also on Wattpad, which I have personally never seen, although I've read comments from folk who claim they have been able to read this version by using Google translate to obtain the story in English that way. It's also worth remembering that the same author, Yeonim, wrote 'Unforgotten Night' which was turned into a BL series last year. That novel is set in the same story universe and features Day too. The book contains some of Day and Night's backstory. In that series Day was played by Khopkhet Nattakarin and was the person the central character Kim was trying to forget when he got drunk and ended up with the mafia boss Kamol. Their story is very convoluted and told via a number of the author's novels.
