I liked this episode. Karl decorating for Vlad's bday was sweet. Vlad is just too cute. Also, him saying "Don't bring Jesus into this, he's too forgiving to be a Capricorn" was everything.

In case anyone is interested. The guys are asking each other "questions that lead to love". They also speak English the whole time except for a few words. I for one really enjoyed the video.

Yeah it was a pretty good episode. I especially liked Vlad's dance scene that transitioned into daydreaming of Arki's homecoming. Definitely will be adding Nica del Rosario's Tahanan to my playlist: I have to wonder what kind of jockstrap Vlad's friend gave him and how Arki's family reacted to that present being opened I also like how Arki likes to play with Vlad's hair - and Vlad's reaction to it. Their closeness during the credits was also a good forward step - I liked Arki tugging a little bit of the blanket away from Vlad.

Not really sure if anyone is interested in this... An extended version of the scene in Episode 3 where Vlad comes back to the apartment and Judit eggs him on to kiss Karl was released this morning but unfortunately seems to have disappeared again. Instead of only one small peck on the cheek Judit keeps wanting more! This edited GIF of the scene gives a flavour of what was cut (sorry for small size). That scene and some bloopers were released to celebrate episode 1 reaching a million YT views

This show just hits all the high notes. It is a delight not to have some horrible ex-girlfriend in the mix or complicated love polygons. The prom was beautiful - poor Vlad, that it was cut short. They really need to kiss soon.

They really need to kiss soon. I was seriously holding my breath as their faces got closer and closer hoping for that kiss then the lights cut on. Karl getting scared because of them telling scary stories was cute too.

This series is the best gay content I watched since Skam season 3. It hits everything, the cinematography, the OST, the acting, the script.

I was so glad when I looked back at mydramalist to realize that there are still 2 more episodes - If it ended at episode 6, it would be a worthy end. What an amazing show! I liked them coming clean to Judit - and think that will actually lead to a better relationship between Vlad and Judit. Karl's dance was beautiful (though while the song had a lovely theme - it just didn't quite have the punch of Nica del Rosario's Tahanan) - I quite enjoyed Karl letting go of the life his parents wanted for him, as he finally became his own person. Also Karl's touching of Vlad's hair and Vlad finally accepting him doing it was fantastic - another scene where one of them comes into being his own person instead of the small scared child wondering why his father was leaving.
I did think Vlad was a bit harsh towards Judit. I don't quite get the hate that some of the commentators on the videos (and on mydramalist) have for her.
I guess episodes 7 and 8 will likely focus on their family problems - I am hoping that we have some good scenes with Vlad's mother, as she seems to want to reconcile with her son.

Kevvoi, I love your comment. It echoes my thoughts exactly but you said it much more eloquently than I ever could. The photo being Karl's brother was a surprise to me. I had just assumed it was him as a child but the resulting exposition that came from the revelation was really profound and helped tie up so many loose ends. To realise that he has (unwittingly?) been raised as a perpetuation of his lost older sibling explains the opening words of the very first episode where Karl expressed his thoughts about not feeling like the protagonist of his own story due to being the only one available to fill the role in a script that had already been written. That also became an integral part of Karl and Vlad's first real conversation as a couple. I loved... LOVED the way Karl threw open the closet to let the messy rainbow of colourful clothes and knick-knacks burst forth. Not exactly subtle but still great symbolism to illustrate him breaking free of his old restraints and embracing his true inner self. The kiss was great of course, but it's simple moments like this that often make me melt the most.

Just watched it and what is there to say except: "Oh Crap!" I suppose I should have guessed the Penultimate Episode Curse would descend upon us. Everyone had valid points to make and the right-person-wrong-time argument was pretty convincing in some ways, but seeing Vlad so distraught was a real punch to the heart... and it made the Dear Karl video even more profoundly poignant when I watched it straight after. Last episode better give us less of this......and more of this.

The empty couch at the end is a very sad couch - not even the whale can cheer it up. I am hoping that this and episode 8 though might set up a season 2 with both boys more mature and in a better place.
Poor Karl - he was happy exploring his new life with Vlad at his side, but add several oddball allies and his life suddenly collapsed into a smothered wreck. I think Vlad really needed to keep things a little bit slower for Karl. Poor Vlad - that ending was devastating and Ian did a wonderful job portraying it. I am actually quite sympathetic towards both of them.
It still is my favorite in the current crop of shows - even if it wasn't very happy this time around.

I still haven't got my head around how I think this series will finish.
The fact the story has been happening over Christmas 2018 has to be relevant in the overall scheme of things, so I'm wondering if Vlad and Karl will actually break-up then and reunite after a time-jump once Karl has become more confident and secure in himself? Or maybe we'll get some sort of updated epilogue with them as a couple embarking on their film-making careers together? Or maybe this story we've been watching will be Karl's first successful film script that's being made into a BL series with Vlad as the director?
Haha! I'm just tossing out ideas because I haven't really got a clue. Anyone else got any thoughts?
Anyhoo, in the meantime here's the guys together in a TikTok I liked:

Well, I was a bit surprised when this show wasn't included in the postponed list yesterday, but it has been added now. Like all the others it's going to be delayed by a week and will now be shown on Friday 20th November.
