Later, Nick looks at a possible job in New York, hoping to join Gabi and build a new life with her and Arianna.

He reads the contract for Gabi but draws the line at giving her any advice about custody issues. Meanwhile, Sami and EJ welcome Will back to town and ask about his time in the writing program.

Summary: Nick is privately rocked when Gabi admits she's reconsidering taking the job offer in New York. Nick subtly makes it clear she's passing up a huge opportunity. Gabi finally decides to take the job but worries Will is going to fight her on this. Once she's gone, Nick makes a call and accepts a job in New York. He crosses briefly with Will and doesn't say a word about what's coming. Later, Sonny and Will get a cake for Gabi to congratulate her on the modeling gig, unaware the new job will take her and Arianna away. While Will runs into Nick, Sonny prepares the surprise at the apartment - and receives a surprise of his own when he gets a call revealing that Gabi must move to New York. When she arrives, Sonny angrily confronts her.

Will receives a visit from Abigail, who tells Arianna how lucky she is to have her mommy and daddies with her. This hits Will hard, and he later vows to Sonny that he won't lose his daughter.

Taking off in a huff, Sonny runs into Sami, who reminds him that Will loves him no matter what. Sonny returns to the apartment and assures Will they can work through this together.
