Will and Sonny track down Nick, asking him not to testify against Sami. Nick agrees but is then subpoenaed.

Summary: Sami and EJ are hopeful when Justin gets Marge to admit she has no idea where her husband could have gotten the $100,000 that was found in Timmy's bank account. Then Adrienne is called to the stand, and Melinda tries to make it seem like she was colluding with the defense to set up Marge and Timmy. But Sami's case takes its hardest hit when Melinda calls an FBI computer forensics expert to the stand. Justin instantly realizes they've been set up as Melinda gets the expert to explain that the deposits were a fraud - the money was actually transferred after Bernardi died. Sami is devastated, knowing this was the final nail in her coffin. The court takes a recess, and back in her cell, Sami tells Kayla she's positive she's going to spend the rest of her life in prison. However, at the same time, EJ makes a desperate move to save her.

Earlier, Will and Nick have an encounter when Will learns Nick is doing freelance work with Kate.

At the party, Cameron calls Chad on his lie about faking his brain tumor. Chad denies it and EJ comes to his rescue, backing up his little brother and putting Cameron on notice. When Abigail inquires about what was going on, Chad covers. Kate and Rafe convince Jordan to allow Rafe a night out of the hospital. The trio accidentally crashes the engagement party, leading to an awkward moment. As the party continues, Will inquires about Marlena's relationship with John. Chad offers a toast to his brother. But his tribute is interrupted by a gun-wielding Marge...

Summary: Cameron attends to Chad, who has been shot by Marge. It looks like Marge will shoot EJ, too, but he takes the gun away from her. She says she's sorry, she didn't mean to hurt that boy. Stefano rages at Marge as Hope arrives and takes her into custody. Sami lays into Stefano, telling him it's his fault his son may die. At the station, Roman and Hope question Marge, who learns the man she shot was a DiMera. Meanwhile, Chad is rushed into surgery. Cameron worries Daniel's plan of action won't work since Chad's supposedly on medication for a brain tumor. However, EJ stops Cameron from consulting with Daniel and tells him it's all a lie. Furious, Cameron tells EJ it could have cost Chad his life. In the waiting area, Gabi, Will and Sonny offer Abigail their support. As Stefano retreats to the hospital chapel to ask God for forgiveness, Chad flat-lines on the operating table.
