Just watched Chandler on Bad Judge. He was in it more than I expected. Great to see him again, he was adorable as ever. He played a bartender and a "cougar" was after him. lol

Now I totally believe he's back as Will. Especially after he set the record straight in Days producers favor.

The character of Will will still be written in a downward free fall, due to his behavior, lies, manipulation and cheating.

Unless he's really good at playing dumb, I don't think there are any current plans to have Chandler back. At least not yet. He didn't know whether or not Freddie was even still on the show. If he was there filming, or about to start shortly, I think he'd be aware of that specific piece of information...
For the record though, if we are going to have a Will on screen, I would love to see Chandler in the role again. Even when Will messed up, he made me feel for him. Evoking sympathy is a valuable skill to have when your character is behaving like Will has the last several months.

Will was likeable back then, lately the writers seem determined people will hate that character

If a character does horrible things and they used to be fairly upstanding, then it stands to reason that some viewers may change their mind about a character. However, I still think it's a talent of the actor to be able to elicit sympathy with things like facial expressions, gestures, and tone of voice. The same actor can say the words "Don't leave" and sound desperately sad, or they can sound angry and controlling. It's their choice, especially on a soap with very little budget that we know does not normally make allowances for shooting a scene more than once. Whatever an actor does with it on the first try is what airs unless there was a technical mistake or it was flubbed so badly it just cannot be used.

Sorry but nobody, no matter how talented is the actor can bring such awful writing into a decent performance. I remember Van Hansis being really good with bad writing, but when the levels on ATWT went even lower not even him bring a decent performance. The writing during Chandler's take on the role was far from good but it wasn't that dismal, and even him was far from giving a decent performance during his last months on the show

Trailer for Chandler's most recent movie, Aquarians. It is just now making the festival rounds. I believe this is his first staring role in a feature film. It looks pretty good.

You have to see this video. Chandler and Cassey (Chad's previous actor) really great in this, I laughed so hard. Why we rarely see funny scenes between characters in the show? I discovered this video while watching this fanvid; Plus shirtless Chandler finds ot he is nominated for Emmy;
