According to an inside source, the role of Sami's twin brother, Eric, has been cast. Soap Opera Digest is reporting that they've heard rumors that Greg Vaughan (ex-Lucky, General Hospital; ex-Diego, The Young and the Restless) has landed the gig. There is no confirmation from the show at this time.

Remember to tune in Thursday, June 28 to see Renee Jones' last appearance as Lexie. The character appears in a touching DVD, as she says her final goodbye to her family.

Jesse Kristofferson has made his final appearance as Neil, the guy Will shared a passionate kiss with in February.

He shoves it in his pocket as EJ returns and reminds him that he’s the top in their relationship. Will wanders off, sticks the evidence in a safe and then returns to Casa DiMera to tell EJ their relationship is about to change. He reveals that he knows he is not Stefano’s legitimate heir and holds all of the proof to out him. He demands that EJ give him back his loft, his car and all of his power. He wants Elvis to teach him everything he knows and make him a man. Just to make things clear, William happily tells him that he’s all his now. At first, EJ refuses to give him an inch. However, by the end of the day, he agrees to Will’s idea that he should take the polygraph test.

EJ shows up at the Salem PD to take the polygraph test. This makes Will nervous and Roman suspicious. EJ does his best to botch the test by playing mind games with the cops. However, the test administrator receives a mysterious visit and a bribe to make sure EJ looks guilty. Will tries defending his boss against everyone’s accusations. In spite of this, Elvis is furious with Will and blames him for putting him in this position. EJ drifts through town is distress. When he bumps into Sami and acts fidgety, she wonders if he’s guilty. She nags him about it until he has a fit. Lashing out at her, he says she deserves to be alone forever. They argue about this so intensely that their tongues nearly touch each other. They pull away and he asks her to look after the children if anything happens to him. Meanwhile, Will’s cockiness is annoying his father. Lucas demands to know what he is up to. Will won’t tell him so Lucas turns to John and Marlena for help. John decides it’s time to ‘neutralize’ Elvis for the sake of the family. To do that, he declares it’s high time that he take control of the DiMera empire himself. Lucas goes off to find Sami and finds her in a close moment with EJ. He is not happy. Both men get territorial about Sami. She doesn’t appreciate it. However, it’s Lucas who actually gets to kiss her.

As previously reported, Judi Evans (Adrienne) will be getting more air time as her TV son Freddie Smith's (Sonny) storyline heats up this fall. Yes, it looks like the long rumored and awaited Sonny/Will romance will be happening. Look for Evans to begin appearing again on September 12 and for Smith, who's been lingering in the background since joining Days in 2011, to finally be featured more prominently.

Eileen Davidson's return has been confirmed. The actress, who's finishing up her stint as Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless, will reappear on Days as the devious Kristen Blake on October 11. No word yet as to whom she'll share story with, but considering how much strife Kristen caused for John and Marlena last time around, her return probably won't bode well for the supercouple.
