In addition to the return of Christopher Sean, who will reprise the role of John Black's gay son Paul Narita, additional casting for Beyond Salem 2 includes Tanner Stine as a recast Joey Johnson (son of Dr Kayla Brady and Steve 'Patch' Johnson), Colton Little as Andrew Donovan IV (son of Kim Brady and Shane Donovan, not seen since he was a young child) and Vince Van Patten as a new character named Phil Hellworth. The Donovans live in California where Paul went to recuperate, and there's some speculation that Andrew may be Paul's new love interest. Trailer for Beyond Salem 2 which premieres July 11. It looks like Kim Brady and Shane Donovan's son Andrew Donovan IV (seen for the first time as an adult played by Colton Little) will indeed be a love interest for Paul Narita (Christopher Sean reprising his role as John Black's younger son).

Zach Tinker reportedly could not reach terms to stay on the show. Given how far ahead they film, Sonny should continue to appear well into the spring.

I've heard that Days is trying to workout some kinda of deal with Zach like the possibility of Zach going to recurring. It's also being rumored that Peacock is trying to reach a deal with Chandler about being signed to a contract also it's being rumored that if Days can't reach a deal with Zach before his scenes air the show is considering recasting Sonny. |
