They seem fairly reliable. A few times in the past I think they may have taken a few guesses, but spoilers they post are usually accurate. Their biggest problem is the ugly and somewhat confusing website.

Between this new 'Slower Pace', trying to get as many lapsed viewers back as possible and all the exits and the old favs returning I'm thinking air time will be minimal.

There is a spoiler/rumor that indicates Sonny will be in the thick of the action in August, alongside his cousin Brady in a gunfight against Chad and EJ as their two families/criminal empires go to war over Brady's attack on EJ. It seems Chad will end up shot. Can you imagine the potential if Sonny was the one who shot Chad: Will torn between boyfriend and best friend? There is no source for these spoilers so take them with a grain of salt.

If that happens then what's the point!? They may as well not bother if there may not be anything after the initial coming-out...what will they do then, have him wander Salem alone forever or ship him off to live with Lucas and Allie never to be heard of again.

Here's a bit of info on Freddie Smith's (Sonny) first day:

(SoapOperaNetworkl.com) -- While "Days of our Lives" has still not officially confirmed that actor Freddie Smith has joined the cast of the NBC daytime drama series, Soap Opera Network confirmed two weeks ago that Smith had signed on with the show and will be portraying the role of Sonny and we can now confirm his first airdate will be Thursday, June 23. If that was't all, we can also confirm that Sonny is in fact one of Adrienne and Justin Kiriakis' (Judi Evans and Wally Kurth) son's. To be precise, presumably the name "Sonny" is a take-off from their biological son Jackson (the two have three other children either adopted or birthed from other relationships). Look for Sonny's return to Salem to be a welcome surprise for his parents when he reunites with the two at the Cheatin' heart.

According to sources Smith will share his first scenes with Kate Mansi's Abigail Deveraux, Chandler Massey's Will Horton and Camila Banus' Gabi Hernandez. As for those gay rumors surrounding the character of Will, it is understood that Sonny will play a heavy role in that yet-to-be-confirmed upcoming storyline. From what we know of their first meeting, Will and Sonny share an interesting moment where Will wonders what Abigail is doing with the new stranger in town at the pier. Is Will wanting to protect his best friend Chad DiMera (Casey Deidrick) from a possibly cheating heart or does Will just have an instant disliking of Sonny? Either way, graduating from Salem High School will keep Will busy during the summer months as he prepares for his journey to Salem University in the fall.

I think they mean there is no official confirmation that Will is the gay character, that he will be in a romantic relationship and that his love interest is Sonny Kiriakis.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that the current actors playing Chloe, Taylor and Quinn have also been let go from the show. I take this to mean that the characters will also be leaving. I hate to get my hopes up, but maybe TPTB are finally listening to the fans?

I am happy to hear that John and Marlena will be returning to Salem, if only for the summer. Funny how it seems to coincide with our storyine, yes?

It just makes sense to include Will's grandparents in a coming out story, especially considering how close Sami got to her mother before their departure. Also, Marlena is a therapist which may help Will figure out his feelings sooner than having this storyline go on for eons.

Our boy has been on a couple of times this week, rallying to Gabi's bedside as she recovers from an emergency appendectomy. They've mostly been discussing the situation with her brother/his stepdad, Rafe.
