Agreed Lola! I would have loved more dialogue. The whole blanket covering was very cute but it was the best oppotunity they had to talk without one of them storming off (ok so it's mainly just Oli that does that! ). Also it was nice to finally see some emotion from Christian. I'm glad the writers decided to show that he was suffering too because in previous episodes, it's mostly been focussed on Oli's pain. However there is something that has been annoying me for a while now and has never really been addressed. When Oli and Christian are locked in and are talking about how they have different life plans because Oli wants kids and Christian does not, Christian's goes on to say that it became all about what Oli wants (a child) and no longer about them as a couple. This seemed like the perfect opportunity for Oli to mention the fact that it was Christian who wanted a child first. He was the one who came back from Gregor's with the idea of starting a family with Oli. Before that, having children together hadn't really been discussed between them. Then after losing Lily, Christian does a complete u-turn on the idea and decides he doesn't want children any more. And Oli is just supossed to accept this with no argument. So, when Christian is acussing Oli of being selfish in his desire to have a child despite knowing that Christian doesn't want one, couldn't Oli acusse Christian of the same thing because of his desire not to have children despite knowing that Oli wants one?! I think they are both equally selfish in this regard and I'm surprised Oli didn't point that out. It annoys me how Oli was constantly having to justify his reasons for wanting a family while Christian never even acknowledges that he wanted the same thing himself not long ago. BC Olli knows its not about Christian not wanting a baby, its about Christian not wanting to be a foster parent. Christian doesnt want to suffer, and Olli doesnt care abt suffering (his own) , he wants a family even if its only for a little while
has anyone resolved the mistery why, Olli lied to Christian, saying Chrisitan was the one who needed time apart???Yes, I completely agree with you that they also need to discuss the issue of why Oli lied to Christian about fostering too. But I do think that when they lost Lily and Christian decided against fostering, a lot of emphasise was put on why Oli still wanted to foster. Even Charlie questioned him about his reasons for still wanting children. Yet no one questioned Christian about why he changed his mind on the whole fostering issue. Yes it was obvious that he couldn't face the pain of losing another child but most of what was discussed was Oli's reasons for still wanting to foster. This why I'm saying that in this regard you could argue that they are equally being selfish in their own way. And that's why I dislike it when Christian has this whole 'well your the one who wanted kids attitude'. I'm not saying that excuses Oli taking that phonecall from the child protection agency behind Christian's back. Yes that should have been discussed too. But it seems like the issue of children is being lost in the drama of Christian being unfaithful and I think that's a shame. I understand Christian's stance on fostering completely, im not saying I don't. I just hate the way that he sometimes comes across as not understanding why Oli feels this way, despite the fact that it was something he wanted himself at one point. A bit more understanding on both parts is needed here.

A bit more understanding on both parts is needed here. I think Christian should just tell Olli that yes he still wants kids, but not fostering, cause it hurts him too much. And I really do think that Christian does still want kids, but not by fostering. And I'm not trying to blame Olli, but if Olli had given Christian some time to get over the hurt of loseing Lilly, instead of wanting another child so quickly, then I think Christian would have come around.

This is the insane "scary" or "creepy" side of Christian that everyone was talking about! All I can say is that if I was in his shoes, either I would control my emotions, or my emotions would control me. Thank you Joanna! I think the scariest look Christian gave was when Olli was dancing with Sarah's drug dealer in the club and Christian got jealous. There was murder in his eyes.

Stupid me posted that reply to soon before I had chance to modify it. So I'll try and say this in the quickest way I can. Christian cannot face losing another foster child the way they lost Lily. I get that. However he should equally realise that now Oli has had the chance to experience having a child (Lily), it is equally hard for him to just accept that they will never have one again. I understand both points of view on this but I sometimes feel that the Oli wanting kids thing is thrown back in his face by Christian. I would like this to have been discussed more. The children issue was never really resolved and I doubt it will be now. I'm going to go to bed now so that's all I say. But back on topic , I enjoyed tonights episode.

Ok, it's official... I'm a silly, oldfashioned, romantic woman and the eppy broke my heart.. I rewatched it again... I expressed in my previous post what I felt watching the original version in German and I can only confirm that ... better I said before my opinion because now I can't ... I'm crying again ... Chrolli forever... thanks May with all my heart So what if you're a romantic. How could you not be with these too.

I'm just glad that none of Christian's 'crying scream' was spoilered. Some things you just want to come at you unexpectedly on screen to take both you, and your emotions, by surprise. Something like what we got tonight works so much better, is much more satisfying, and has so much more power and impact, if it comes at you, in the episode itself, when you don't realise it's coming.

I agree, it was a good episode. Loved Olli's blue shirt. Would have liked a bit more talking. In a weird way the whole appartment looked good on them. I wouldn't mind them moving there eventually instead of the flatshare. The only thing that was weird in this episode was how they mixed the Charlie voice over with the Ludwig voice over Agreed Lola! I would have loved more dialogue. The whole blanket covering was very cute but it was the best oppotunity they had to talk without one of them storming off (ok so it's mainly just Oli that does that! ). It annoys me how Oli was constantly having to justify his reasons for wanting a family while Christian never even acknowledges that he wanted the same thing himself not long ago. I think it's that Olli wanted a child right then, even if it was still for much for him. Christian would have come around to an idea of a child, but he felt that Lily has only been gone a short time and that he needed time to recoup and they needed time to reconnect and I think he's right in the respect. They had just gotten married when Lily came along. Eventhough they had been living together for a while. Life as a married couple is different.

Agreed Joanna Agree 1000%. This moment today rocked me to the core. Great acting/entertainment = passionate response here Joanna, thank you so much for all the screencaps. They so greatly capture Thore and Jo's skills moment to moment. I've also always had the impression that Christian is not anti-children forever but just could not handle fostering again. Chrolli was never portrayed discussing a family before they got married nor did we ever get to see them really identifying and working on their personality flaws. Couples need to do that - hardcore. Ah, but this is soap/fiction I need to take nausea meds for this rollercoaster

I remember when I first found this couple and watching them interact with each other, they send shivers down my spine and make my heart skip a beat, you know what, they still do. The two of them can be quite stubborn but the love is overwhelmingly there and you could see it and feel it today.
I thought Charlie's plan to lock them in was a good one and given more time they might have made some leeway but it was not to be, you know drama and all. My heart breaks and I just want them to find each other again and share that powerful love that is between them.
Olli was in his element today when he said to his loving aunt "what do you know about relationships" ouch....Charlie should have smacked him silly for talking to her like that.
I really enjoyed today's show and at the end, I felt Christian's pain, I think it's finally hitting him that this time it's not going to work out as easily as they other times the had problems.

That was and still is one of my favorite scenes, he went straight over that and knocked Rob down and ask him if he had balls. Christian was on a rampage that day.

Yes he was and Rob asked for it. He always made sure that Christian was watching befoe he did stuff like that, because he loved pushing his buttons. I think that was what bothered me about Olli during that time. He knew that Rob liked pushing Christian's buttons and he always chalked it up to him just joking around.
