I know I've already said it before but Hagen is simply ugly, he kinda distracted me from contemplating Christian's desperation
I would totally do Hagen.
LMAO! Mitsaso....your...um.....nose.... is growing.
It's painful, like
physically painful, to watch HagenTheHobbit "act". He makes porn stars look like Oscar-
wienerswinners.

I really liked the very brief Chrolli appearance in the episode.....and I didn't even have to wait for it to actually air, to watch.
As everything that was Chrolli for the epi, was pretty much all shown in the "Sneak Peak".
Christian was obviously trying to respond with light jokes to Olli's obvious dramatic flairs.......and predictably, it led to FAIL.
I laughed all throughout, until Olli door-slammed Christian out.
The razor, I think, was aiming to be symbolic of Christian's life as chaos at the moment, and him still holding on, but doing NOTHING to change it, just.....waiting.....and molding. Like overgrowth happening when a house is neglected.
One's gotta, at some point, pick oneself up, dust oneself off/clean oneself up, and start to get back to tackling LIFE.
Like Hobbit pointed out, he has 40+ boxes, nothing has been unpacked, it's all chaos around Christian....a physical manifestation of Christian's internal turmoil (i.e., obviously, it is reflective of Christian's inner chaos, which we don't get to see, like we do with Olli, cuz he's a different personality). So, unlike Olli, who we can directly rely on to show us his turmoil through his emotions which are on the surface; with Christian, we see his turmoil through his tangible environment around him (kinda always been this way, between the two, and I'm glad they maintained these nuanced character traits).
And, Hobbit suggest to Christian to DO SOMETHING about it, either way..........clean up the mess.........
Christian tried one flimsy time, with his "shower gel" method (LOL! I still giggle thinking of Olli's rant).........and, it didn't work.
So, Christian shaving at the end, is, in a way, symbolic that he can't go on like this....in limbo....just waiting......his life boxed up, just waiting to be opened, to be lived.
So, with Olli kicking him out during breakfast, gave him that push - to start cleaning up the mess, facing life (rather than, ostrich in the sand, avoiding life by keeping it boxed up and stacked away, but piling, nonetheless, around him, to the point that it swallows him whole).
In conclusion, hot mess. As is expected with this unravelling....and draaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggggeeeeeeedddd out SL.
On to the next one!
And, last but never least, as always, THANK YOU,
Joanna and
MercuryMay, for bringing us this brief but much-enjoyed (by me) episode.
Oh, LOL, did Angsar give Jessica penguin shit? I would love to get the translation of that interaction, and how that came about.
