You're probably right that I shouldn't be so picky -- of course seeing Christian in any way is better than not seeing him. I just have this pet peeve about relationship advice books; they remind me of my bad experience with child-rearing advice books. I understand and I think our nerves are scraped a little raw at the moment

Thank you so much Joanna and Mercury for your endless work! The authors are surely taking their sweet time, but it's good from my point of view. And I'll take any way I can get of a little more Christian's feelings in the mix to make things more balanced. You're probably right that I shouldn't be so picky -- of course seeing Christian in any way is better than not seeing him. I just have this pet peeve about relationship advice books; they remind me of my bad experience with child-rearing advice books. Oh yes. Freaking when your child hasn't reached some milstone by the time the book says they should. Those things are simply a guide, but searching for anyway to make sense of things, Olli has taken it to heart. I would think that a big part of surviving a break is communication and Olli is having no part of that.

I would too. It wouldn't even have to be much. Someone mentioned him crying while he was shaving, I mentioned him nicking himself. Just a small sign that moving on wasn't going to be easy. That would be good but I think in a way Christian isn't moving on, he's on hold, he's waiting for some signs from Olli, so he's kind of freezed in the moment. In fact he asks Hagen to drown him in work cause he doesn't want to think of living his life without Olli by his side.

Just re-watched the ep. and folks! I can't stand the way writers are telling this storyline... I mean, it seems they cut off so many details, maybe entires scenes, who knows... they first start with this break up SL and then don't allow us to see more especially Christian side... it's totally unfair but I hope this could change next future... btw, here you are last Daserste reply to a mail of mine; it seems quite positive... and, in my opinion, it's very important they keep reassuring us...
Dear Antonella,
Thank you for your e-mail.
Our daily soap "Verbotene Liebe" claims to illustrate real life scenes and tries to show them in an interesting and emotional way.
It´s quiet usual that gay couples have a relationship with ups and downs just like all the others.
Even if Christian and Oliver face a crisis at the moment, it doesn't have to mean that the love is finally over.
We´re proud of being able to show a gay couple in a realistic way. We hope that you will stay tuned in the future, too.
Best regards
Christine Sargin

Christine SarginI agree, mandalai. When have they sent you this mail? I, unfortunately, don't feel so reassured at this point.

He spoke the words, but the actions weren't really there. I do wonder if there was more that we didn't see. They flipped back and forth between several scenes at the end, but the only one of Chrisitian was him shaving.

It was so confused ... switch from one character to another, and only one for Christian's beard scene... which, of course with his face covered could not be very expressive!

Just a thought: Chrolli and relationship advice books isn't really unprecedented. Wasn't there the thing with a love timetable?

That wasn't completely his idea. Didn't Stella or someone give him the magazine? I guess since that worked out so well, that he needed help again. I wish he would have called her instead.

I know I've already said it before but Hagen is simply ugly, he kinda distracted me from contemplating Christian's desperation

I don't think he's ugly, but his big declaration of how much the stud far meant to me lacked inspiration. If I was Chrisitian, I doubt if it would have helped pull me out of my self pity.

He's kind of nice, but so pathetic! And he's got absolutely nothing in common with Marlene! BTW, he used to call Christian "Herr Mann"; now he has promoted him to Christian. Is there a friendship looming?

Money does cover up a lot of flaws. Not for me. Ewwww Hagen. Maybe not for you, but for a lot of people. How else do you explain, all the young rich guys with the hot chicks hanging around them. Money can make you blind to a lot of things.
