I agree these shows alway say they want to treat there gay characters no different,then there straight characters but once they come out,then they find a love interest,then either theres a cheating story line or aides scare after that there either background characters or not shown at all gay character have more to offer it seems being the gay character is all they have offer ...but every straight couple has at least one cheating storyline as well and by my observation gay couples tend to be more stable and cheat less on most TV shows (except those gay-themed shows such as QAF)...I suppose most shows do not want too many gay characters. |

in the preview fore 2011 his mother walks in on Zane and him kissing... I hope they will make that a storyline. Yeah, that seems interesting! Can't wait to see how it plays out  |

And about the last episode that was posted.. Hmm, I really don't know. Riley is kinda doomed whatever he does. He seems like a wimp is he doesn't fight back, and there's no guarantee they might stop. On the other hand, what he's doing now seems to be triggering them even more and he's hurting Zane! Argh  |

When are Riley and Zane actually going to be back on the tv screen? I'm really curious to how Riley's mom takes Zane not being Greek or a girl.

The new block of Degrassi starts at February 11, and don't they dare not to show Riley and Zane in the first episode! :b I think I read somewhere that the whole thing with his mom will be in February, so not too far away |

It's sad that Riley has finally accepted and be happy with who he is. And now his own mother from the looks of the promo can't even look him in the eye. Hopefully she remembers he's her son and accept and love him for who he is not what she thinks he should be.
