Hehe! Most defenitely Rumbleroar! I saw the 'did you get my text' sign as wel, there was a 'Harry freaking Potter' one, and I saw one saying 'We do things the Umbridge way'... All AVPS references. And yay for Darren and Joe to be able to go there  . I wonder if those people knew Joe was going to be there, seeing two of the signs were actually qoutes from his character.. Either that, or they went absolutely beserk when they saw him ! I quit watching the live stream right after Daniel and J.K. had their little interview (wow, I got real crying emotional at Daniel thanking her, God that's ten years of my life coming to an end! Half my life, almost literally!..) I suppose I was a few minutes to early to stop watching, was I? Anyhow. I needed to study and I thought, well, if Daniel and J.K. have arrived and had their interview Darren won't show up anymore. Then he did. Silly me! |

^ It was pretty commonly known that Joe was coming, so I'd imagine that's why they chose that quote...
Also Darren wasn't the only non-HP cast member they focused on, but he was one of the few.
And oh god, that whole thing made me cry so many times. Especially when Emma started crying, I just lost it.

So, Darren stuff from Comic Con that doesn't belong in the spoilers: He might be working on a solo album, but he's such a busy boy that it probably won't happen for a while. Broadway rumors are neither confirmed nor denied - but he says he'd love to. They're (probably) working on another Starkid play. So the rumour was confirmed today, Darren will take over from Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway's How to Succeed in Business for 3 weeks in January (3-22)- get your tickets now!

Okay, I'm going to put my flailing fangirl aside and actually analyze this news for a bit.
I think this is the perfect Broadway role for Darren. He's admitted himself that he doesn't have the classic tenor voice needed for a lot of Broadway songs. But neither does Radcliffe, and he's filled the role brilliantly so far. I mean, Darren will have to work his butt off in the dancing department, but he's so dedicated that I don't think it will be a problem.
Also, I expect a picture of Daniel and Darren together. I've wanted that for like, years now - too much to ask?
Oh, but I swear to all that is holy if people show up with neon sunglasses, puffy-paint shirts, any kind of signs, or anything else purely embarrassing I will lose it. And if they scream during the show, I hope they get kicked out (well, actually, they'd definitely get kicked out.) And if the street team does anything embarrasing - actually if they do anything at all - I will seriously hate them more than I already do.
Okay, back to fangirling
