geeez, does he ever sleep? *wonders if he drinks the blood of griffins and unicorns for magical powers* ;D EDIT: and I am so bored that I have now sent a question... ;D If he starts talking about badgers and baboons, it's my fault

Okay, Darren, it's time for an intervention How long is he going to go without shaving now that filming is done? Like, I enjoy a bit of stubble on the man, but too much scruff ain't my thing. Seriously this summer it's going to end up like this:

haha I bet he has to shave it off for the tour, since they're in character while they're performing.

Ooh true! Didn't even think of that. (I'm secretly thankful.)

The truth is the show did him really a favor in terms of looking, i know there are some people who love his curls, but in my opinion he looks far better with his hair short (the beard is inapropiate for a teen character but i think he looks good with it)

Well, I like his hair short, but I like it better curly than when it's all slicked back on the show. I think his best look is with his hair short and curly with a little bit of stubble.

When I first saw him, I never really thought of him as hot, but once he cut his hair it was like, 'oh wow that is a damn fine boy.' And his scruff actually looks good on him when he's not in formal clothing, but he looks a bit odd, in my opinion, when he's all dressed up with a lot of facial hair... Darren being a nerd (what's new?) source: orderofthestarkid.squarespace.com/featured-articles/2011/5/9/an-order-interview-with-pat-brady.html(Really interesting interview if you're a starkid fan)

Yes, i remember an article on afterelton when it was rumoured that Sam will be Kurts boyfriend, and Blaine only a friend, and maybe the pic wasn't the best, but i thought, well, at least his future boyfriend is really good looking.
Then i watch him in the teenage dream video and he seemed a totally different guy with his hair short.
And i ask myself, when some of this Glee actors really sleep? because some of them do a thousand different things at the same time

I finally caved in, sucked it up, and bought a ticket to see Darren in London. I may or may not be extremely excited right now ;D

Thanks! And thanks for the link- I will try to watch, although, if it's NYC time, I think it'll be the middle of the night for me I am WAAAAY too old to be fangirling this much but I do really REALLY like his music (listened to that before he was in Glee), so to actually hear him perform his own stuff, in a tiny venue, is pretty exciting- you can see the size of the venue by clicking here venues.meanfiddler.com/the-garage/home and then clicking on "virtual tour" at the top I have a sneaking suspicion I maybe be much older and taller than all the other screaming girlies in there, but ah well. I'm trying to convince my friend who looks pretty identical to him (and also loves him, narcissist, much?) to come too, to really confuse people ;D If I do manage to elbow my way to the front (normally I'm "too cool" for that, but for Darren I'll make an exception ) I'll try and take some photos for y'all

That's probably better, though, it'll feel more personal. And oh, god, if people scream at him to do Glee songs, I would be so pissed. He is such a great artist (and I hate to admit this, but he's the reason I started watching Glee). Ha, yeah, he does have a younger fanbase (but mostly late teens who try and be mature... okay joke), but I still do know of lots of people in their 20's and 30's who are hardcore fans. You should also get a picture of your friend standing next to Darren, 'cause that would be hilarious. Oh, and nothing is too extreme when it involves Darren

He is such a great artist (and I hate to admit this, but he's the reason I started watching Glee). that's funny, he's also the reason I started re-watching (I thought season 2 wasn't great to that point) and if screaming DURING songs occurs, I will be having words!!! I didn't pay good money to hear ACOUSTIC music drowned out !!! Nah, it should be fine At least, I hope I don't think I could do that- I used to work in theatre a lot, but I was a director, and it never ceased to freak me out the crazed manner in which fans react towards actors- they have this look in their eyes that is extremely disturbing, and something that makes me cringe to be associated with- the kind of crazies that drag people into crowds, as we saw... so I'm happy to just go, hear him, leave (although I have asked my friend to wear his blazer and tie ) If you want to reply, please do! But maybe best as a PM, don't want this thread to be "off topic"
