No Max and Iago have never a bedroom scene. I think that the actor who plays Iago has issues playing the intimacy between two guys.

But he sure hasn't any on the kissing department... At least not that we can tell.

I think that the actor who plays Iago has issues playing the intimacy between two guys. I didn't know that about Marc. I thought the show was being conservative with Max/Iago's love scenes. I agree, Amber, he is very convincing! He should keep doing what he is doing!

Just to let everyone know Alejandro0720 put the lastest Max/Iago clip up: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUtGx9oNpv81) Clara went to talk to Max and Iago about something. My guess it's about the jewelry robbery and the cemetary. Maybe to warn them? Get their stories straight? 2) Clara and Iago talk briefly. I don't know what it's about. Again it may have something to do with the robbery. The look Clara gives Iago at the end of the scene! 3) Sergi goes to Clara's house they talk for a little, then he shows her a letter. I don't know what it's about. If anyone can give a rough translation on the scenes, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Thanks Dorothy. It has been awhile
I just watch the clip. Awwww, it was wonderful! I'm so glad that Max and Iago have made their peace with Beni and Clara. Iago can be stubborn, but under everything he desperately loves Max. He made Max very happy.
Does this mean that the squatter story is over? Or are Max and Iago just out of the story?

I'm glad Iago has decided to give Beni another chance - I really liked the way they got along in the beginning. Now Beni has 2 sons to pal around with.
I don't think Iago will be as quick to forgive Clara, though. It's her mouth that started the chain of events that ended with Berta's death - how can he forgive that?
And Max, man oh man, he just keeps getting prettier. Seriously, I thought my monitor was going to melt with the sheer hotness. Sigh, so nice to see them again.

stuartsez, you are right about Iago not being willing to forgive Clara so quickly. I'm torn about Clara. Sometimes I am furious with her, but really she was just looking out for her son. She had doubts about Iago and I can't say that she was completely wrong. Regardless, she should not have interfered. She should have let Max deal with whatever happened with Iago who was genuinely trying to turn his life around.
Max did look quite yummy. He is growing up into a handsome man.

Max & Iago on today too (with a cute morning kiss). Iago's shirtless as well, which was a nice addition to the scene, especially since I have no idea what their saying! Man, it's one gay day out there in tv-land!! Alejandro0720 has posted: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2j5-tW4W_mo

calaeb I hope this can be of some assistance. Parts are ok. Parts in italic could be ok, but I wouldn't bet my life on it. These parts... well, I prefer not to talk about them. It'd be nice if someone would have a look at the whole thing.
Max, can’t you take it easy… just one day? I’ve got two exams next week. And you have to study all evening? We have to go to Can Sarro to get a few things. I’ll go alone if you have to study. Don’t worry, I’ve got nothing to do all day. If I can give a hand… no need to explain(owe no one any explanations) (I’m suffering here… hope someone can come to my rescue, JF) There’s only a couple of bags (boxes?) with my books and some cds. You on your way to the Faculty? Yes… I’ve got to make photocopies first… then I’ll spend the rest of the time in the library. Wait for me and I’ll go with you. No need, there’s enough for you to do as it is. (Con que prinque uno va basta – Help!!!) Well, young man, what would you like me to prepare? You got any milk, Beni? Yeah, right here. Thanks. Here’s a glass for you. Listen, Iago... I really want to thank you… I’m glad you accepted to come and live here with us. A father wants what’s best for his son, right? You understand? Yes. And I’m a criminal who’s been in jail. Well, yes… no… I’m talking about what’s happening here. And this expression that says that starting anew (with a clean slate)is stupid. All I really want to say to you is Thank you. Fine by me. You’ve already thanked me. Would you have a toaster so I can make some toasts? Yes. Yes, sir (something like mate in aussieland) I’ll plug it in for you. (seems to make sense) Thank you. Listen… nothing, I don’t want to be annoying… but I want to make it clear that I’m really happy you’re staying here. I’m starting to regret it… *he says… joking*

Hey neand48 that was a pretty fine effort. I'm really enjoying visiting this site now that I've finally got around to joining. What's different is this site is alive, there are people communicating and interacting, whereas at Youtube this isn't the case. Episodes sometimes don't get attended to for days. I should have joined this website a long time ago. It's always so frustrating waiting on the translations so it's really cool of you to post so quickly. I always try to guess the meaning of what is said in Catalan but most times it really needs the actual text like you've done for us all. Thank you so much, much appreciated. Merci beaucoup. J'espère que tu n'es pas en train de me dire que les sous-titres étaient en catalan!!! ;D I don't know anything about Catalan. As you saw, I can barely manage Spanish. Your comment about this site is absolutely true. There are so many different threads que tu es certain d'y trouver quelque chose qui te satisfera. There's a French discussion thread under the AWZ heading, and a German for soap lovers thread, and aldebaran subtitles the VL clips in Italian. Amazing place. Enjoy... Et encore une fois... Merci/Thanks/Danke/Gracias/Grazie (WOW, I better stop before I start speaking in tongues...)

Hi. Part of what I find so interesting about this show is the language. I've studied both Spanish and Italian (many, many years ago, however!) and you can certainly hear elements of both in Catalan. When the clips have Spanish subtitles I can usually follow along, especially if I use my dictionary.
Also, the subtitles get cut off at the bottom -- e.g., it's "oye, Iago" (listen, or hear). I sometimes mistake "ya" for "va" because of this.
Sure is good to see the Max/Iago story in the forefront again.
Cheers.

I wonder if you'd be kind enough to have a look at what I did and modify whatever I got wrong. Two semesters of Spanish in college, many many moons ago, clearly is not enough. And, as you pointed out, the subtitles being cut off at the bottom doesn't help much either. I hope, for Max's sake, that Iago doesn't screw up...

neand48, merci beaucoup. I appreciate the translation. I do think that Iago will mess up or someone from his past will return to ruin things for him and Max.

Thanks for the heads up, meidocfan.
Neand48, I added what I could to your translation. Alejandro0720 usually posts a translation on youtube, too, so we can see what that one says when it's posted. I translated from the Spanish subtitles. Max's response to Iago about going with him to the facultad? Must be idiomatic -- couldn't come up with anything. Anyway, stuff I added is in bold, hope it's not too confusing.
Now that they're back, I hope our guys get to be happy for awhile.

My brain works in mysterious ways sometimes. Iago said pan and I thought of frying pan, then of grilled cheese (don't ask me why) and when I saw Beni placing the toaster on the counter pan became toaster . Good thing I don't work at the UN. Thank you very much. This is the best Spanish course I've ever had. Can't wait for Alejandro0720's sub-titled clip.

"facultad" is the Faculty, as in Faculty (Department) at a University I'm so slow posting (the keyboard and I have a confrontational relationship) that your answer came up as I was fighting my way through my post. Thank you, and sorry if I seemed to parrot your post.

Oh, they were out there with their placards! The sad thing was, that since the parade was the busiest one yet, when we were marching towards them, everyone gave a resounding 'boo'. But once you got up close, you could see their kids standing beside them, crying. It was truly heart-wrenchingly awful. It made ME cry. Man, what sort of message are you sending to your kids? (Honestly, I think they just wanted the kids to be scared of 'us' - as in 'the gays'. And I wouldn't be surprised if it worked! <I've tried to insert a picture here of some of them that I took while marching, to send on to the police -- who knows if it'll work, as I'm so NOT a techno wizard!>
