I just watched Max and Iago scene today. I loved it!!! I loved hearing Iago talk about his love for Max. Especially the part where he tells Eli that Max deserves someone better than himself. He's (Iago) been in jail and is awaiting trial. He thinks Max should be with someone who is smarter and all around good and honest guy. He also mentioned how he tried to push Max away, but in the end he couldn't. His love for Max was too strong. Iago also admitted that opposites attract! So true!!  He hates that he is the cause of fricition between Max and Beni. Iago tried to reach out to Beni, but Beni is not ready to accept Iago. Foreshadowing maybe: Iago fixing a broken lamp. Faulty electrical wiring. . .ie: fire and the place burns down! I hope not. |

I agree with you, nice scene with Eli ^^ and after Iago opened his heart and talked about Max and how opposite attract, she was ready to confess that she felt something for Ivan, it seems the writers will playing that tune again.

So, from the spoilers, very few scenes of Max/Iago this week too? I hope the writers will give them a spotlight soon, but I confess that glimpses of them happy in Can Sarrò makes me happy too  |

Just did it and it's wonderful how Iago talks about Max
"More than once I wanted to leave Max so he would not to suffer, but I couldn't. When you really love someone you can't easily pretend not to feel anything for him. Max probably should have fallen in love with someone other than me. I have been in jail...and I am still awaiting trial. I'm not the best person he could find. Max and I are like night and day, but sometimes opposites are the most attracted to each other."

Lola, Max and Iago rock. I love that there is no coming out or sexual confusion drama. They love each other despite their flaws and have awesome chemistry. Most of all, I love that their story is completely character driven. Iago's inability to get past his criminal actions have been the source of most of their problems. As much as how Clara and Beni treat Iago ticks me off, I cannot blame them for not wanting Max involved with Iago. The bad boy/good boy fall in love and fight against all the obstacles preventing them from being together. It is all so soapy and fun. At the moment, they are my favorite soap couple gay or straight, period.

The bad boy/good boy fall in love and fight against all the obstacles preventing them from being together. It's a classic romance setup - they're just playing it out with two guys. That's why I love the show so much - a gay love story that's not about them being gay. |
