Well everyone, I like reading this section and the novels section so much - but usually I just lurk. I'm known for my lurking skills. But I felt bad because I wasn't giving love back in the form of comments and what have you... so to say thanks I'm going to post my very first fanfiction ever! Well, the first one I've ever posted online for others to read - in any fandom.
I've been thinking about getting back into writing and I haven't quite figured out my own characters or plot points so I thought I'd take a stab at playing with the VL guys.
So, a couple of things: It's a continuation scene - from when Gregor and Christian have their talk after Gregor finds out about Christian and Oliver. As much as I loved that scene I always felt there was a little something missing.
In this, I tried to stay pretty true to the script (and by that I mean Nanna's translations!) and add my own little touches to it.
I mostly did this to remind myself the rules of dialogue. Where commas go, where quotes should be, using something else other than "said" - those things you learn in writing class.
That being said, feel free to pick this baby apart!

Christian looked up towards the door just as Oliver walked into the flat with Gregor at his heals. “You’ve got a visitor,” Olli grinned as he walked past giving Christian’s chest a love-tap. Both Oliver and Gregor closed the doors to the bedrooms and the flat respectively.
“We’ve got to talk,” Gregor said with a loving sigh.
“The last time I wanted to talk, you shut the door in my face,” Christian said while sitting down motioning for Gregor to join him at the table.
It was true, the night before, Christian had run after Gregor to try and explain why his older brother had just caught him in bed with another man. Unfortunately, Gregor’s shock of seeing his little brother and Oliver together hadn’t warn off, and Christian’s nervousness caused him to yell and make accusations rather than try and talk calmly. The reality was, both Gregor and Christian needed a few hours to cool down before they could talk as easily as brothers do.
“Here,” Gregor opened the conversation by tossing a document on the table; taking his seat.
Christian looked at it. He was confused at his brother’s gesture, “What is this?”
“Just read it,” Gregor said with his older brother air about him.
Christian looked it over, still confused he said, “A promoter contract?”
“Yeah. Sign it now and we can get started immediately.” Gregor was again offering, to manage Christian’s boxing career, this time as a way of showing him how little his concern with his brother’s love life.
“You still want to be my promoter even though Olli and I…”
“Yes. Olli and You,” Gregor said cutting him off. Gregor continued with, “I have to admit, for me that was… Well, maybe surprising would be an understatement. More like a small shock.”
“A small shock,” Christian smirked.
“Maybe a slightly bigger one,” Gregor smiled. Turning serious, Gregor began to explain, “You know, all I knew was one moment you were Coco’s boyfriend…” Christian cut him off.
“Gregor. What am I supposed to say? Even I have no idea why I suddenly fell in love with Olli.” And cautiously he added, “Is that why you’re mad at me now?”
“No, no, no!” Gregor smiled. “That’s not the reason I’m mad at you. I’m mad because you apparently think I’m a complete asshole; because you had no trust in me.” Christian just looked at the wood table listening as Gregor continued, “After Dad died, I believed that no matter what happened, we’d always stick together.”
“Gregor, I wanted to tell you,” Christian suddenly cut in. “You’re the only family I’ve got left. I was just so afraid of losing you.”
“But, you won’t lose me.” Gregor hushed. “You’ll always be my little brother, no matter who you love.”
They both stood, and Gregor reached out to Christian; pulling him into a brotherly bear hug. Christian sighed with much thankfulness and a little embarrassment. “I must admit,” Gregor said as the two walked over and sat down on the blue sectional that centers the room, “if I had been paying more attention, I should have easily figured this out for myself.”
Allowing himself to laugh out the tension he’d been holding inside, “I know! I was so scared you’d catch on,” Christian said. With seriousness he added, “I hated lying to you.”
“Well, it’s partly my fault. I didn’t take you seriously at the boxing club when you tried to tell me. You’d been dropping hints, and I was completely focused on getting over Sarah.” After a quick thought, Gregor smirkingly asked, “That night my car broke down at the club – you and Olli weren’t…did I interrupt a moment between the two of you?”
Laughing, “Oh my god, yes! That was a close one for sure. That was just after I stopped fighting the idea of Olli and I being more than–roommates,” Christian said.
“Roommates?” Greggor questioned with a grin, “and the lingerie party Judith and I walked into?”
“Guilty,” Christian grinned back “another close one.”
“Christ!" Gregor laughed. In that laugh, he quickly realized what'd happened with Grandetski; "That’s why you fired Grandetski?” Greggor asked.
“Yeah, I couldn’t listen to his gay-bashing anymore. He figured out Olli quickly enough and two nights ago, he caught us in a hug during a run. Olli couldn’t keep up, he needed a moment to catch his breath, and we’d stopped. Olli told me he loved me so I hugged him. I felt like shit immediately because when I saw Wolle I had to pretend like Olli disgusted me. Working for Wolle made me want to throw up after that. Not saying something is one thing, having to pretend that Olli disgusts me is, is… I just can’t. At No Limits, Wolle told me to make Olli move out. I’m paraphrasing, his words were much worse. I drew a line and I fired him.”
Gregor sat listening to Christian spew the details of the last few days. He began to understand just how serious his little brother’s feelings for Olli were. Rather than grill him on all the important moments in Christian and Oliver’s romance, all he could ask was, “but he did want you to take steroids too?”
“Yeah. And that. If I wasn’t with Olli, I’d probably be taking them.” Christian looked very seriously at his brother and then at his feet. “Gregor, Olli’s kept me sane through these last few months. I would have made all kinds of shitty mistakes if not for him.”
They sat for a minute; until finally Gregor spoke, “I’m sorry Christian. I should have been a better brother to you than I have been.”
“Puh. It’s okay,” Christian smiled, “you can make it up to me by being one hell of a promoter.”
At that, they both shared a loud laugh.
Olli had been listening for a signal that would tell him all is right with the Mann brothers. When he finally heard loud laughter, he knew things were okay. “I was thinking about ordering a pizza,” Oliver said as he emerged from the hallway into the living room.
Christian looked at his brother and then over his shoulder to Oliver. Smiling, he stood and walked over to Olli and kissed him peck-style on the lips. He felt no hesitation with Gregor in the room. Putting his arm around his lover, he said, “Sounds perfect! Gregor—pepperoni, or ham and pineapple?”
The End
