Just wish they decided that before S1 was filmed so they could have modified the script to be more "adult"

The good thing is it seems they are staying fairly focused on the stepbrothers, which I was a bit worried about with that massive cast picture at the top. Not sure it was necessary to have the whole side plot of the Khun and the baker, should just focus on the high school students. Also, what was with that scene with the guy dressed up as a teacher, was weird and didn't feel it added much to the show.
I do like that there doesn't seem to be much issue with Prab and Nick possibly being together.
Does anyone find it weird they have the cast shirtless in the interlude right before commercials? It just seems so weird considering how young all the cast looks.

I think that the creator made it clear it will not be BL, just packed with BL actors. And probably tons of teasing scene like the one that antistatic posted

What I meant is that when they greenlit the show and when they filmed the show, it was always known to be a gay-centric show. And during that entire time until just before release, they were okay with putting it on Disney+. So the question is why was Love Victor moved to Hulu (This is before the Star channel was created). I think we all debated it in this thread in the past, but there was never a conclusion since we don't know Disney's thinking

Not enough happen so far to decide how much I like it. Production value seems decent at least

The only chance fans would want a sad ending is if the couple is super toxic together, but even then, there would still be a portion of the fan base that would still want the couple purely for the BL

I think that is obvious to everyone. Just makes you wonder what made Disney changed their mind. After all, Love Victor was always a gay lead show, that was never hidden.

This is going to be a mess, probably. Why R U tried 2 main couple and it was difficult to balance screen time. My Engineer have 4 couples, but I consider Bohn/Duen the main couple and everyone a side couple.
Having four main couples would either result in unequal screen time or rapid fire development in order to develop 4 relationships in just 12 episodes.

Are we really supposed to believe all of this is happening within one week? They really should have just made it a month or two. Not surprised that both relationship is moving at breakneck speed. Also, weird that the old lady barely appeared when they are all living together.

Does anyone know how many episodes there are?

The fact that they have to go through recasting even if they get new funding probably doom the project. At this point, they are basically starting from scratch.

That is only because we are still on the Free release schedule. I assume they consider the VIP release schedule, which aired the last episode already, as the official schedule. So it isn't surprising they put out a countdown to the second season

Yep, pretty much as soon as I found out that one of the character is a star, I predicted Ep 5 ending

I believe Mew is not straight as well, but I will leave the Mew/Gulf alone since it is not anybody's right to know what kind of relationship is between two actors. If they are together, great. If they are friends, that's great too. Even if they hate each other, that is fine as long as they can work well together.
I am happy to hear that Art is back to acting. From what I heard about the drama, it felt like both sides of Mew and Art did things that escalated the situation until it all blew up. From the stuff that I seen, Art never seem to be malicious, so I wish him the best in Secret Admirer

This reminds me I still need to watch HIStory3: Trapped. There been such an unending flood of BL that I can't find time to watch older show such as this or Untamed.

I wanted to like Teenoi and James, but they were barely there. It is crazy that they suddenly together in the end out of nowhere. Considering how they were treated, I doubt a second season would be much better.

I wanted to like this show, but I found way too many issues with the first ep to stop me from continuing. I was hoping to see comments here saying that the subsequent episodes will get better so I can get back into the show. Guess this will stay as a Skip for me

Just watched Ep 5 and loved it. I agree that Gao Shi De needing to move soon does not bode well for their relationship. However, we do know that they both will be in the sequel set 5 years later, so I'm sure they will be together by the end of the sequel even though the sequel is based around the Doctor.

I heard it is some kind of glitch in the background and WeTV is working to resolve it. This issue is also affecting Best Love on WeTV.

The problem with these "getting caught" photos and videos is that they could easily be faked for fan service. Just leak it to the press, or just be together in a heavy traffic location and you are guaranteed to be "caught". After all, holding hands in coffee shops, the mall and the streets is stupid unless the purpose is to be caught. Then they just need to make some vague statements. Shippers will latch on to the hints of their ship while the non-shippers will point to the vague statements as proof that there is no relationship.
When you have your career depending on your ability to sell your ship, I wouldn't put it past these BL actors to try to do this. After all, the better their ship sail, the better their future in the BL industry .

I actually caught up on ep 11 and 12. I'll try to avoid any spoilers and just make mostly general statement about the entire show at large. First of all, I am so disappointed about the amount of screen time for Mark/Kit. For a season that is supposed to be dedicated to this couple, they basically faded to the background as soon as they got together. The finale had like 5 min of screen time for them?
The whole thing with Phai and his potential pairing is such a weird part of the show. Now there is such a thing as prophecy and danger-sense?!?! When did this show became a scifi/supernatural show?!? That whole supernatural plot device should be removed. It just mess up the flow of the show
The Wayu love life thing got dragged out way too much. First he was chased by increasing number of suiters, and then most of the suiters just disappeared after mid-season without any resolution. Obviously, they were just there to create conflict and to make Wayu seems more popular, but they were just left there dangling. They just get mentioned once in a while about still chasing Wayu, but then never show up in a scene with Wayu ever again.
One point I want to bring up is there are WAY too many characters in this show. They could cut half the cast and the show will still feel too crowded. I know part of the reason is that they wanted to introduce all the character so that the planned future seasons can involve these characters more naturally. The problem is with limited episodes in the first season, it just ended up being very messy with character disappearing for long stretch of time and plotlines never getting resolved.
Also, this season ended at such a weird time timeline-wise. Would it not make more sense to end the season with the end of the school year, and start off next season with the high schoolers starting freshmen year? Right now, in order to get to the finale, it felt like they had to skim through the high schooler graduation (and didn't even mentioned the end of the year for the university cast). Not to mention they just completely skipped past the school break directly into moving into university.

Pretty sure it is still fan service. From the translation in the comments, they didn't explicitly say they were dating. And considering how extreme they usually take their fan service, it is hard to just believe when they allude to a relationship.

I think the issue is that TharnType and the MaxTul BL were all targeted to an older audience, so they could get away with much more action. I think all these shows were 18+, while most other BL were 13+ or even G-rated.
There is also the fact that a lot of actor see BL as a stepping stone into the mainstream film industry, so they don't want to go too heavy on the action for fear of damaging their future prospects.
