I found the introduction of Marco to be as awkward and forced as the departure of Ian, but I guess that is understandable considering the writers have been forced to improvise in real-time almost. Marco is certainly hot and I can't wait until they start kissing.

Upside: Marco leaves a good first impression. Downside: Back to 3 minutes again.

I'm liking Marco, even though we've only seen him for a minute. He's a cutie. The only question I have is now that Teddy is out and the whole school knows (or at least I'm assuming, considering that random guy making a joke) shouldn't it be an issue with the fact that his dad's famous? When this stuff happens in real life it's all over the tabloids. Some random person from the school would have called a magazine to make a few bucks. I wouldn't mind seeing that as a story line and see Teddy's reaction, not to mention his dad's. Just a thought I agree. That would make for a pretty awesome storyline I think. Not just about it blowing up because his dad is famous, but I'd also like to see him coming out to his parents, or to see his parents reaction.

Marco does look like a good match for Teddy. We don't know what his baggage is yet, but at least it doesn't look like that he is closeted.
I agree that someone would have tried to make a few bucks to out Teddy in the media, which is sad in showing that our society's obsession of the celebrities goes beyond the celebrities themselves.

Upside: Marco leaves a good first impression. Downside: Back to 3 minutes again. I know, totally sucks, now to the usual crappy amount of screen time. It annoys me so much because they made such a deal about it and we have only had one episode this whole season that is above about 5 mins!!! grrrr. Just look at Silver, she gets soooooo much screen time. I feel sorry for Trevor, he must feel he is never on set!!!!

mmmm Marco is just all kinda of yummy looking! ....i loved his introduction...it was a little soon but i guess its ok because that means Teddy's story is well on its way....i dont like that they only give him like three minutes but im sure that when his relationship with Marco starts we'll have plenty to watch...well atleast for the first couple stages of their relationship...hopefully lol...for the time being...i cant wait until the spring break episode!

This episode made me so happy. For sure, it's not always so easy to gain acceptance when you come out, but more and more it is getting easier. Story lines like this on TV help. The best part that sent the best message was the guys actually dancing and having fun at the gay club. No fear. No insecurity. I loved it!

Dixon and Navid were so cute with their coordinated dance moves Good on Silver for looking out. Boys can be so, well, boylike. ;-) I loved that Liam is trying to adjust and wants to support Teddy. It's really important for Teddy to know that his boys have his back no matter what. Friendships like that can last a life time and young gay and straight men need to see that they can form friendships and be close regardless of their different dating desires.

Thank you for that! ;D
OMG the beginning was so awkward though. I could barely sit through that second hand embarrassment.

This episode created mixed feelings in me. On one hand, a straight couple would have been shown at least a little inside the hotel room and viewers would not have had the door shut in their face. On the other hand, what was shown is so beyond what was once even conceivable for a show of this nature (mainstream aimed at young people) that it's hard to complain. (OK, yes, I wanted to see Teddy & Tripp writhing about in bed. Is that so wrong? ) It also struck me as odd that they went immediately into the kissing without any comments like, "OMG! You're gay, too? When did you come out?" I mean, it's kind of interesting that they were roommates and both behaved ultra-hetero while being secretly gay. Did Tripp also have feelings for Teddy? I had a lot of questions about it, but apparently there just wasn't time to get into any level of detail. I measured Tripp's screen time at 2'56''. I have to point out, too, speaking as a gay man, that on no planet in this universe would Marco turn down a hook-up with someone who looks like Teddy - if he is not in a committed relationship, which he's not. (And even then... : I mean, I don't think it's even physically possible for a gay man to turn down sex with someone as hot as Teddy. I've concluded that Teddy has Progeria (rapid aging disease). This explains why he's in high school, but looks like he's one eye corner crinkle away from a mid-life crisis.

It is kind of short for Tripp side story that we had heard so much about. I guess that we shouldn't complain too much since we got more than the usual five minutes of Teddy in this episode.
I had to respectfully disagree that no can resist the opportunity to hook up with Teddy, especially considering Marco is a hottie also and he probably had his fill of one-night stands unlike Teddy who just recently came out.
I do look forward to seeing their scenes, and hope that the show does a better job than previously.

there is so much hilarity to this episode. i've never commented on this show before, but seriously... i nearly split my sides watching this. and i just wanted to say, teddy is not all that and a bag of chips. i know plenty who prefer them a little more rugged. a little more dirty. a little more the type that don't have to keep their hair-do out the swimming pool when they go for a swim. seriously... not strictly teddy-related, but the dialogue in this show is actually ridiculous. "phew. the sun is hot!" - as an excuse for some evil sun-lotion plot?! if they paid the actors by word, 90210 would be the biggest drain on CW's financial resources since they dusted off mischa barton for that 'model' shite she did. also, aquaman kind of looked like he hated his 'boyfriend'. i could practically see the thought bubble floating out his head as he waited for the guy to get his hand off his back. and i don't think anyone has ever spoken so fast either: "will-and-i-have-an-open-relationship-that's-cool" felt like he was trying to run as far away from the homo part of the sentence to get back to the usual hetero comfy: "we're not the relationship type *winkwink*" i kinda liked that teddy got put in that position - seeing how he started as the supposed stud, using and abusing girls like human kleenex - its nice to see the realisation finally dawn. as for adrianna and silver. i just... there are NO words.

Sleeping around does not mean that you are using people. If you aren't promising to love folks and everyone is honest then there is no "using". Lots of young women don't want to be in relationships and would prefer casual experiences with boys or girls for a time in their life (like high school and college) It doesn't mean they are being used. Having said that, I think Tripp probably had feelings about Teddy when they were roommates and always hoped Teddy felt the same and that's why I think he pounced on Teddy to kiss him before he really thought about it. I mean two repressed gay boys in high school sleeping in the same room fantasizing about each other then they meet up 2 years later and realize they are both gay, there is going to be FIREWORKS! I just think Teddy wants to be in love, the way he was starting to feel about Ian and having a one-night-stand made him realize that he WANTS to be in a relationship (I don't think it's about feeling that he has to be in one, he just wants to be in love - nothing wrong with that) I mean Teddy has never truly had the experience of falling in love with a guy who loves him back and we saw how quickly he fell for Ian so it's probably just his personality. He couldn't fall in love with girls that's why there were so many but with guys, it's a totally different situation. I'm looking forward to meeting Marco again. I love that Teddy can talk to Silver. She's so kind and thoughtful and perceptive and he really needs the support. Plus, no one really knows you like your ex. CUTE QUOTE FROM TREVOR ;D Teddy & Tripp - April 17, 2011 06:00 AM PDT - TVLINE | It’s important to acknowledge that yes, Teddy’s lip-lock with spring break fling Tripp (played by Alan Ritchson aka Smallville‘s Aquaman) is totally strange because of how the two actors favor each other. TREVOR: “It’s weird that we look similar,” Trevor Donovan tells me with a laugh. “It’s also weird that I’ve known Alan for six years! He texted me, ‘Hey buddy, looks like we’re getting it on.’ So yeah, I had mixed feelings about it, but it ended up being fine. We treated it real lightly.” Now, about that hot hookup…. “Teddy runs into an old roommate of his from private school, they reminiscence about being womanizers until Teddy can’t handle it anymore and tells Tripp he’s gay,” Donovan dishes. “Turns out, Tripp’s gay too, and we have a little fling.” We won’t detail what happens in the aftermath, but the result is this: “Teddy learns that he doesn’t want to be the player-type anymore.”

I felt a little disappointed though becoz nothing much has been explored between Tripp and Teddy (Didn't realise both of them having first names with "T"). Would have preferred more interactions but given they tried to lump everyone's story in 1 episode, I am grateful we got a little more than usual. And also we get to see Marco!!! Watching Teddy and Tripp kiss is like watching two Ken dolls kiss. They are so alike. But they look like they got good chemistry. I can't wait for serious drama in Teddy's world, because I really like Marco and I am sure Marco will bring the best out of Teddy. But I hope Tripp will be back in the future for an expected love triangle story. (as cliche as it sounds, but I hope it happens). Otherwise, more Teddy & Marco please!!

Lots of young women don't want to be in relationships and would prefer casual experiences with boys or girls for a time in their life (like high school and college) It doesn't mean they are being used. teddy was using people. tvguide.ca/Interviews/Insider/Articles/110502_trevor_donovan_JP.htm" TVG: Teddy seems to be settling back into being a relationship type of person. Are you happy with how he’s been developing?TD: It’s been a great part in the storyline. The first season I came in, Teddy was the ‘womanizer,’ going around and doing whatever he wanted and not really concerned about other peoples’ feelings. As his coming-out story came through, he ends up hooking up with Tripp, his ex-roommate, and then realizes he kind of got played. I think that’s the turning point for Teddy. He realizes, ‘this is how I used to be, and that’s not who I want to be,’ and now he’s realizing the man he wants to be (and not the boy he was). That last episode he was in was definitely the turning point for him."

Yesterday's clip is here, thanks to Anthony. So, Marco's secret is out. The one we were thinking about for all of 3 minutes before it was revealed. You know, they have the elements of a good story here, but they're just not developing it with any depth. Maybe I'm just used to a daily soap; on the other hand,, Teddy has had minuscule air time all along anyway. Sigh.

I know, I wish we actually saw more of Teddy's storyline. I hate it when shows just give us a little bit and then leave us dangling.

yes, this SL is moving forward super fast!! I hope their relationship won't come to an end as quickly as it has progressed. I hope we'll be able to see more Marco, he's such a sweet guy.

To be honest, I was taken aback when Teddy and Marco kissed. I was like "Did they progress so quickly?" So it's like another things happen in the background and we don't get to see it. It's pretty sad though, how things developed so quickly between them. We haven't even see them going on a proper date.
I have read online that people can't feel the chemistry between them. I thought it is alright. Although their first scene together (when Teddy hit Marco with his serve) was amazing, I felt the chemistry instantaneous. But the new scenes were pretty lacking in some sense. But I can't blame them, they have so limited amount of time together, the viewers are not able to warm up to them that quickly. But at least Teddy's screen time is increasing. I hope we get to see more of them, coz they make an absolutely stunning couple.

for me, the jury is still out on whether or not they have chemistry. his relationship with Ian - we got to see that one unfold on screen for the most part. unlike his relationship with Marco. Teddy and Marco have had several dates, but the viewer hasn't seen any of them. so we're just gonna have to assume they have been getting along really well until their latest problem. i wish they could have at least given us a few minutes of them in the previous episode Teddy was MIA in. hopefully next week we'll definitely see some heat between the two.
