(Am I missing anyone really obvious?) LOL, no I think the only male roles you didn't mention are Dieter and Opa Lutz... who are... most likely not the ones we could speculate about?! I mean I like random pairings, but that's a bit too random even for me. If I was asked to make a wild guess, I would say Mike, as well. Although I didn't notice any hints for his potential gayness either. (And I'm only a tiny little bit tempted to go back and have a closer look...) I'm pretty sure it wasn't Ingo, though. If I remember correctly, he wasn't even listed in the main cast at the beginning, maybe wasn't even supposed to stay, plus he wasn't interacting with Roman for like the first 60 episodes.

Wow, was it really that long? hahaha, I was briefly tempted to go back and check as well but NOT VERY MUCH. There was too much soapy ridiiculousness in the early early stuff. But yeah, that makes Ingo less likely.
...hmm, I wonder if that was the era where Mike got his mysterious tight purple t-shirt with silver sparkles on it, lol.

I would bet on Mike, too. Do you remember the way he looked at Roman and Deniz kissing in the locker room, after Deniz helped Roman go on the ice again? And the way he talked to Marian, afterwards? It has always striked me as weird. It looked like he was jealous.

*dons srs bizniz hat* Dennis has asked us to spread the word about an issue that deeply concerns him and co-star Ulrike Röseberg: the rights of Uganda's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender population. If you've got a minute, please read eskimokissproject.wordpress.com/2010/02/21/what-is-this-fuckery-uganda/ and do what you can to help put an end to this fuckwittage.

Okay, there's this thing. A gay fair. In my hometown. Not that I'd known about it. Why would I, it's insignificant, isn't it? *facepalms* Anyway, Dennis was interviewed for the somewhat massively massive program. Here it is. (a.k.a. I fail at literal translations ;D) „Alles Was Zählt“-actor Dennis Grabosch interviewed on his life as a gay actor, his coming-out, and why a “Care Bears”-movie almost destroyed his career… Dennis Grabosch is better known to many as Roman Wild, because that’s the name of the character the 31 year old actor has been playing on RTL’s soap “Alles Was Zählt” for more than three years now. We met him for an interview. How and when did your coming-out take place? DG: When I was 15, I was unhappily in love with my best friend. When I was 16, I was involved in a romantic penpalship with a man who was 15 years older than me from Bavaria. He was making plans of spending the rest of his life with me. When we met, he took back the offer. My next boyfriend made me deal with my sexuality in a grown-up way. He was living just a few streets away and spend a lot of time at my house, which eventually led to my mother asking the question of all questions: Are you gay? How did you become an actor? DG: My first real role was being an understudy in “Struwwelpeter” on an Alster boat in Hamburg. If I remember correctly, the premiere was cancelled due to the lack of an audience, because the “Care Bears”-movie was shown in the local cinema. The character of Roman is a figure skater. Did you have any experiences in skating before or did you have to learn it? DG: I had to learn it and try to do the parts between the jumps without a double. My counterparts on the ice were helping me a lot to make it look like it does nowadays. But I don’t do it in my free time, just for the job. How do you prepare for playing a role like that? DG: There’s not just one right way of doing that. But I read the concept and noticed pretty quickly that this show worked differently than others I’ve worked for before. Then I tried to find my place in the story. At the beginning I’ve been watching the skating doubles and trainers very closely and tried to figure out the way they think, as I couldn’t really relate to figure skating. As a gay actor, do you feel like you’re being settled (by others) to certain roles? DG: As you make your bed, so you must lie on it. And I had to take that risk, because I knew that I couldn’t play the role and be like: “I’m doing this for five days a week, but my private life won’t be discussed in public, because I really want to be in “Das Traumschiff” [The Dream Ship] or do a [Rosamunde] Pilcher movie, before I die!” People who don’t want to work with me, because I don’t play the “Don’t ask, don’t tell!”-game can get lost! (Just for the record, Traumschiff and Rosamunde Pilcher are godawful, incredibly cheesy and the stuff that my 86 year old grandma loves. I'm very sure Dennis came up with the things he wouldn't want to be a part of for the world. ) And here's the link (see pages 13-14): www.gayvention.de/downloads/gayvention_messemagazin_2010.pdf

Did you hear? Roman's having a birthday?
(Note: This is not the backstage feature on rtl.de - it's quite a bit different. We're subbing that too and will post at EKP ASAP.)

Thanks for the clips They seem to have much fun. And now, I can't stop singing. "Er gehört zu mir, wie mein Name an der Tür. Und ich weiß, er bleibt hier" *hums* Marianne Rosenberg, damn you Show ;D I'm glad they have another interviewer than that dreadful lady who had those interviews with Francisco Medina and Silvia Maleen. *shudders at the very thought* At least, she's charming and get along with the actors, some lame questions nonetheless.

Sorry Pedris, I'd missed that you'd already posted the link! And vitacrudelis, OMG I know. I'm going to have that damn song stuck in my head all day. Grrrrr. Also, here's the subbed version of the shorter RTL.de clip. It does have a couple things that weren't in the longer one (like Igor's birthday wish for Roman, which is adorable).
