Gorgeous picture. It's a pity James isn't professionally photographed frequently. He is just so gorgeous.

Things have been a bit quiet for Chris recently. However, I think that's going to change in the upcoming months, particularly in terms of his and Hudson's relationship. Eve Morey, who plays Sonya (Toadie's- the lawyer's- wife) has been filming scenes with a familiar character who hasn't actually been on screen in about a year and a half. I don't want to give anything away, but I've attached the link for Eve Morey's backstage video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=w606vjogI4MI'm really looking forward to seeing these scenes and finding out what's going on with Hudson...

Neighbours certainly has more than its fair share of lovely men - Chris, Hudson, Kyle, Mason, Mark, Josh (whose brilliant idea was it to make him a male model? As if we didn't already see enough skin from him as a swimmer, now they have him in gold hot pants!)
We know Remy Hii is busy with other projects so it's not looking good for Hudson's longevity. One wouldn't be surprised if his very public kiss with Chris in the prison visitor's room led to a tragic fate.

I may be jumping the gun a bit here but it's recently been announced that there are two characters returning later in the year (around April): Sophie Ramsay (Kate's sister, the one that was in the car accident with Chris, and who he later tried to help get back into music) and Zeke Kinski (Karl and Susan Kennedy's step-son who left in 2011 to go to University in London). Matt, who plays Zeke, has teased that the character has a 'secret', and now rumours are flying that he has come out, and that he may be the 'hunky newcomer' (despite not being new) who 'enters Chris’ life'. Obviously nothing's been confirmed yet, but I will keep my eyes and ears out for any more news surrounding the storyline and see if anything develops. You can see the first part of the interview that Matt and Kaiya (Sophie) did here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM1uJ1MJLVA&feature=c4-overview&list=UUfD_lRESpOvOfMUNBZkyXgA

Chris did overlap with Zeke -- I think Zeke was a year or two ahead of the Chris-Andrew-Tash-Summer cohort in terms of high school. Though I suspect Zeke's storyline will focus on the Kennedys -- I also thought his appearance and Sophie's appearance were both going to be short.

In regards to the spoilers about Chris' mum, there have been some new spoilers for the week commencing 24th February (highlight to read): Monday 24th February: After meeting Patricia, a new member of her Gamblers' Anonymous Support Group, Sonya is stunned to discover that not only is Patricia actually Chris' mother but that he has no idea that she's an addict. Sonya is also rattled to learn that Chris' family don't know that his boyfriend Hudson is in jail. Tuesday 25th February: Chris accuses Sonya of interfering in his family life.Looking forward to seeing Chris interacting with Sonya. They've barely had any scenes together up to this point. Spoilers are courtesy of TV Soap.

The show's executive producer was interviewed on the Perfect Blend website. Here's what he said about Chris:
Chris has become one of the show's most popular characters. Would you ever consider introducing another gay character into the regular cast, to give him more of a meaningful relationship than the ones he's had with guest characters?
"Definitely. Aside from diversity, bringing in a regular love interest for Chris is a priority. You will also see a return appearance from Hudson in future episodes."

There are some spoilers courtesy of TV Soap about Chris from the 27th February- 12th March (so some of it has already aired in Australia)- highlight below to read:
Addict exposed
Chris' family is torn apart as his mother's secret gambling addiction lands her behind bars.
Despite Sonya's best efforts to reach out to Patricia Pappas through their mutual struggle with addiction, Chris' mum remains on a downward spiral, particularly since Sonya inadvertently hinted to her that Chris is keeping secrets about Hudson's imprisonment. Concerned that Chris' (James Mason) distance and secrecy has driven Patricia (Katerina Kotsonis) back to gambling, Sonya (Eve Morey) falsely accuses her of pawning personal possessions to raise gambling cash only to make matters worse when she reinforces Patricia's heartache over Chris.
Sonya's guilt intensifies, on Neighbours, when Patricia begs Chris for cash before she and her husband confront Chris for lying about Hudson's whereabouts. When Chris blasts her for interfering in his family situation. Sonya must protect her fellow addict's anonymity and cannot expose Patricia's gambling which only makes matters worse for the Pappas clan. Poor Patricia is soon nabbed stealing from an antique shop to feed her fondness for the poker machines and Matt's (Josef Brown) subsequent arrest of Patricia leaves her problems completely exposed - much to Chris' horror.
Blinded by anger, Chris verbally assaults Sonya, labelling her a hypocrite for not helping his mother. He shouts that, regardless of the confidentially rules applied to addicts, Sonya could have alerted him to the problem and he could have stopped her but now Chris' mother is locked up in custody after committing a criminal act and it's all Sonya's fault! Withering in shock, Sonya begins to question her credibility as a convenor of the addiction meetings and as she wonders if she should resign, Chris despairs over his unfortunate mother, praying that he can keep her out of jail so he can save her from complete self-destruction..
It feels like forever since there's been any mention of him in TV Soap. It's great that they're bringing George back (apparently) for the storyline. I'm looking forward to it, though it's a shame that he and Sonya are enemies rather than friends (though judging by spoilers in upcoming episodes they will pull together) because they're actually my favourite characters on the show.

Here are the Chris related spoilers for the week commencing 7th April (highlight to read):
Monday 7th April 2014 - Episode 6856
Chris is left unconscious by a mystery assailant.
Tuesday 8th April 2014 - Episode 6857
Chris reveals who attacked him.
Thursday 10th April 2014 - Episode 6859
Chris wonders if life's too short to wait for Hudson.
Friday 11th April 2014 - Episode 6860
Chris is tempted by an attractive new face.
And for an added bonus:
Monday 14 April 2014 Chris grows tired of being alone.
I don't think he appears as a main character this week (31st March-4th April) though he does appear as a supporting character (surprise, surprise). Based on the spoilers, I think that the week commencing 7th April is the most frequently that Chris has appeared (in one week) so far this year.
