I can't remember if he was canonically gay or not but there's some speculation Curtis Perkins will be back, probably still just in a limited capacity. That may be the most we get.

Matt Wilson is shown filming in this news feature, although they don't interview him. Someone said you can also see a photo of David in here, on the ice cream truck or somewhere, although I couldn't tell what they meant.

wish Amazon/Freevee could revive All My Children & One Life to Live Agree, although the ill-fated PP revivals probably put that to bed. There was an AMC revival pitched to ABC a few years ago by Kelly Ripa and her husband, but it went nowhere.

wish Amazon/Freevee could revive All My Children & One Life to Live I think ABC is trying to integrate some AMC/OLTL characters into its sole surviving soap, GH. AMC's Jackson has made multiple appearances recently and soon OLTL's Blair will too. I fear that is as good as we're going to get. The plans for a primetime spin-off of AMC have quietly died. Remembering the enormous following Nuke had online, I think Prospect Park really made a huge mistake not introducing any gay couple. Supposedly they were going to reveal AJ (Eric Nelsen) as gay in a future season, but it never happened obviously.

looks like Aaron is coming back In the first episode it was said Aaron and David had moved away, but without Isla who went with Nicolette. I hate that they are separated from their daughter.

That ice cream truck actually sells drinks/smoothies. It is called the "Drinks Diva". It belonged to Amy Greenwood & Melanie Pearson. They launched it last year after the Lassiters drinks shack Flamingo Bar on the fake beach burnt down.
With Amy out of the picture & David presumably out of job for losing his medical licence, I guess they have David/Melanie pair up to run the food truck.

Curtis returned in today's episode, just for his usual supporting role. Still, nice to see him.

It was depressing and pointless. I know Takaya had wanted to leave and I wasn't opposed to the character being killed off (although poor Paul has lost two sons now) but what a dismal way to go. I would rather it have been Leo or Aaron (or even Nicolette) for whom David sacrificed his life instead of that waste of space Eden.
Does anyone have any idea if Aaron is around for the long-haul or he will also be exiting soon?

I would have supported his death if the aftermath had been worth it, but it was mostly poor - we barely saw the reactions of his loved ones (Aaron just getting a few scenes to show he isn't coping well) aside from Paul. The whole story is basically fodder for Paul's love life and pity parties. I haven't heard of Aaron leaving but I'd be surprised if he stayed long past the grieving story, especially with the lack of other gay men on the show. The current canvas is about as bare as I've ever seen it.

The current canvas is about as bare as I've ever seen it. Yes even Leo - David's actual twin, who've been together all their lives and for whom he sacrificed his life - is being given the short shrift. But according to spoilers, the biggest travesty is yet to come: Nicolette's deep grief is going to be focused on next... seriously? I know they've changed the actress and she has gone a long way to softening the character, but most fans can still remember their history, and this does Aaron and Leo a grave disservice that HER grief is apparently so all-consuming. Not that they'll ever go there, but it would've been interesting if Byron was the one trying to comfort Aaron and it led to them sleeping together. Then it comes out that Byron has had male clients before but insists he isn't attracted to other men, leaving Aaron heartbroken again because he thinks that their night together was just pity sex. Except, of course, Byron is not being entirely honest about his feelings for Aaron, for fear of disappointing his mother and disgracing the memory of his homophobic great-grandmother, Mrs Mangel. I'll admit it's the previous Byron actor (who looked very different to the recast) that put the thought into my mind; Joe Klocek having played a couple of gay roles in the past.

That would be a great story idea, and very messy in a good soap way given Jane and Nicolette.
