I just can't see the writers worried over some fans abroad disliking what they are doing. And what they are doing is a typical soap development. Something must happen without changing status quo much, because they have to keep the tension for longer. This Ropp action can be seen like that, maybe it will blow up later or it was just a short diversion and everything will be back to "normal". That's how soap storylines work, there is a necessary period of stalling before the climax.

(Actually i'm quite suprised myself that I trust the writers this much right now! ;D )

As for the YT post, from the materialistic point of view Olli gave up nothing because he had nothing to give up and he really got where he is now thanks to Gregor, Charlie, and Christian. He has the skills, but without their support he'd still be waiting tables in Schneiders. He wasn't sacrificing any dreams either, because he apparently had none, so he could invest his time and energy into supporting Christian. But which he did not do because he had nothing else to do, but because he loved him. Having suddenly found something that excites him, makes Olli quite impatient, he wants all and now, ditching Ropp and his services means to wait longer, to rebuild his contacts, and that's clearly not an option.

LOL!! Schatz, have i told you lately how much i adore you? I think what rankled me was the "ingrate" thing... my Olli-pologist sensibilities kickd into high gear at that one... Haha, you should tell that ingrate that although Olli can very well cause delicious heart palpitations, it's a bit of a stretch for even HIM to command an myocarditis on Christian's heart. How the fuck exactly is Christian's dreams shattered because of Olli? A shattering I can recall is Olli's head and face, for Christian's brave public outing, though! It's not just fans abroad, it's the publicitiy brought in by the fans abroad, the buzz, the US market actually buying the Chrolli storyline, etc., etc....all cuz of the far-reaching consequences of fans. Which, you sir, had a pivotal part to play, what with bringing us Chrolli on Ytube in those early days. And, like she says: I just have a feeling that if this couple in crisis wasn't ' The Chrolli' they would've already temporarily broken up few times at least... (Actually i'm quite suprised myself that I trust the writers this much right now! ;D ) Chrolli is not very typical of a soap couple. In soap years, they're like celebrating their golden anniversary [minus any explicit infidelity, aka, sex, breakup or even he ain't my babydaddy]! There's a reason for the special treatment of Chrolli.

This is my first comment ever on this board, but I just needed to say that, although I have always been a little bit team Christian (for no real reason other than I always just kind of sympathized with him a tiny bit more), I don't think this is a black and white issue and I like that about this story. It's pretty much the only thing I like about this story. Neither of them is completely at fault, they're just both being pretty equally immature about the whole thing. I will be the first to say that I am a massive Rob-hater. I think the actor's great, but I just hate his character so much and I hate that bringing in his character has made me not really trust Olli anymore. What I loved about Chrolli was that, no matter what they went through, you always knew that they truly loved each other. I'm not completely feeling that from Olli anymore, especially when he says things like "I really like you, but I'm with Christian." Is that supposed to mean that he would be with him if he weren't with Christian? That just bothers me. I just don't think Christian would ever say something like that. Maybe that's my "team Christian" mentality coming out a little bit. I think I'm supposed to feel like they both still really love each other, but their little snarky comments and the way that Olli always puts NL first makes that kind of difficult. I like the idea of them hitting a road block in their relationship, because it's been pretty much smooth sailing for 2 years and that really can't last forever. I just wish they could have done it without compromising the characters, because they're both just pissing me off now. Up until this point, Olli has always put his relationship before his work and I really think Christian has, too, as someone was saying earlier about him saying he would give up boxing in a heartbeat if Olli really wanted him to, even though that was his dream. I think Olli really does want both and he can have it, but he needs to get his priorities straight and remember how important Christian is to him. I really want to like him again by the time Rob gets caught and/or they make up and I hope that happens soon, because this is all becoming a little too tedious for me. Ok. That's the end of my little speech. I had a lot to get out. I really just want to go to Germany and finish writing this story for them

That's the end of my little speech. I had a lot to get out. I really just want to go to Germany and finish writing this story for them Welcome to the board!!! Your comment is great. I like Rob -- mainly because of Max, though he is painted rather roughly. I also like the idea of Olli having faults . . . However, as you and so many people I trust have pointed out, the writers don't seem to be writing Olli "in character" anymore. He has faults -- but, well, there's not much consistency here. Olli kisses Rob and says, "But I have Christian and that's okay, right?" This is a very strange answer that speaks of relationship doubts --- and it comes out of nowhere. He and Rob needed to do more flirting before that point. I liked that, however -- again, I like Olli as a faulty character (I always have -- he has a mischevious side) and I like Rob. However, how does one explain his complete turnaround with Rob on Friday/Monday? Or how can one explain him flirting with a character that has become so badly written? As I've said, I don't think this is about Rob, Olli or Christian at all. This is about the writing. I think Feiler is capable of doing fine work -- but something is amiss in the backrooms of VL. Some days I love, but, well -- I think in the end we are all fighting over something that has little to do with the characters we love. Are these characters still Christian and Olli? BUT: I will stay positive.

Thanks for the welcome . I've read the comments on here sometimes, but the new developments made me feel the need to comment. I think the biggest thing for me is the way they seem to be ruining these characters that I used to really love. I still don't think they would ever actually cheat on each other, but even the doubts are frustrating me. I just want Olli to appreciate Christian a little more and stop accusing him of thinking his investment in No Limits is stupid without ever talking to him about it. I'm just sick of the fact that Olli doesn't seem to trust Christian at all anymore. He constantly accuses him of being so jealous that he continuously makes up the same story. Why would he do that? Haven't they been together long enough for Olli to recognize when Christian's lying and when he's telling the truth? And how could Olli ever think that Christian could be that ridiculous? I just don't understand accusing your boyfriend of two years, who has gotten jealous in the past but never insanely jealous, of making things up and actually causing a drug raid at a club that you own based solely on jealousy. I just think that's insane and totally out of character for Olli, especially because Christian told him there were being drugs distributed before he even had a reason to be jealous of Rob.

This film sounds like something Ropp would like to do and that's the only reason I am posting it here. Maybe Whirlwind

Anyone else wonder how potbellied Rob easily fit into skinny Olli's clothes. Coz Olli is definitely a couple of sizes smaller than rob not to mention all his shirts are pretty form hugging.

I wouldn't call Ropp potbellied, he looks very good with his clothes on, he just isn't a gym bunny
