reasons why it won't work, from my perspective: 1) germans are the most serious folk i've ever come across, in a nationally, completely-generalizing sense. and this extends even to their very sincere soap opera, VL. 2) americans are the least. fingers crossed though. what?? you find VL a realistic soap?!? ;D and what do you mean with point 2? Ugh, these stereotypes about nationalities .. Anyway, I won't watch it but I agree that you can trust HBO..

Out of all the paid channels HBO is the best. They have won so many Emmys. They also have had a lot of great series and mini series as well.

I think Showtime would be better. They show more images, especially like Queer as Folk.

Sam M, the head of aid + abet is also a former exec of HBO. I guess we will just have to see.

Has anybody heard anymore news about this?I mean I looked on the productions website and they got It listed as still coming out August 2012.Has anybody heard any news?
