I don't know how reliable the source is for a lot of this, I think she has a history for doing a lot of speculating.
I think all we know right now, and we should know more tomorrow, is that Reid will get into an accident the week of August 30th, Margo and Tom deliver some devastating news to Luke the week of September 6th (the show will only air three times during this week), Noah and the Snyders help Luke deal with his loss during the last week. And, the tragedy will lead to a rapprochement between Luke and Noah.

Tomorrow's preview
I think the good thing of these spoilers is that the real thing can't be worse (or maybe i'm wrong, ATWT can always surprise us, in a bad way)

I think the sad thing is that it looks like Nancy is the loser in all this. She will get very little grieving time since they will all move on to Chris and grieving for Reid.
I don't expect any (or very little) rapprochement between Luke and Noah. I expect their last scene to be heart warming and heart breaking all at the same time. It's a goodbye scene for the most part.

Helen Wagner didn't want them to make a big deal out of her death, and I'm not totally comfortable with them making Nancy's death a full blown storyline. While her death should have been the last one, since that would have had a lot of meaning, considering she delivered the show's first line, with Helen Wagner also dying, we are talking about the death of a real person, and someone who the other actors personally knew. I think the writers have to take into account the other actors' feelings, and be mindful about doing something that's tasteless, and that doesn't pay attention to the fact that these real people are mourning the death of their friend and co-worker.

And, the tragedy will lead to a rapprochement between Luke and Noah. ...This will be my third time posting in this thread, all within 24 hours. How can I have a history of doing anything? - Reid and Luke not having sex -> Anthony Langford told us two days ago. Apparently he's known for a long time. - Reid tells Luke he's falling in love with him on Thursday -> This is a spoiler clip from the show posted last week. You can view it on smuchshypush's channel. - The latest spoilers say Luke will tell everyone he's in love with Reid on Sept 1 -> posted earlier today, I believe from the National Enquirer. It was posted on the LJ LuRe community. - Sept 7: "Tom and Margo break some bad news". I believe Reid is seriously injured, not dead, and there will be a few heartbreaking Luke and Reid scenes before he dies. That's only a rumour, though. He could just die. -> Same as above. The "heartbreaking" scenes are speculation, but everyone seems to think it's going there. - On the 16th, Noah and Luke meet at WOAK. Luke tells Noah he was in love with Reid and regrets all the things they didn't do together. -> Jake posted his last airdate on Facebook as the 16th, saying he'll be at WOAK with Luke. The rest is, I believe, from the JS board, though I could be wrong. - Noah and Luke kiss goodbye and Noah leaves for LA. -> Although no official spoilers, pretty much all boards believe this will happen - The final episode takes place a month later, where Luke is still grieving Reid. There is no mention of Noah and their future. -> I believe Anthony posted this over at Kishmet, as well as it being on the JS board. I wrote below my first post that a lot of it is speculation, just what most boards believe.

And all the Noah's plans are altered spoiler or something like that. I expected him to at least stay in Oakdale. Maybe the promise he made is that he'll come back or something like that.
I don't know, i find all this incredibly absurd. From the moment Reid gained popularity we'll know that not everybody will be happy at the end, but making sad everybody is just beyond ridiculous. In the last weeks we'll get all the straight characters marrying each other and having their happy endings, and the gays will be death, gone or alone (the message is loud and clear)

I wasn't referring to you, I was referring to the source of some of those spoilers, as far as I know, while you posted the spoilers, you are not the original source.
The question was asked if the spoilers were confirmed or if they are just speculation. I highlighted the spoilers that you posted, not in an attempt to slam you, but to point out which ones were coming from reliable sources, and which ones have not been confirmed by at the least a reliable soap magazine, so far. I'm not going to name anyone by name, but many of the rumors on the list are coming from people who are just speculating, which was my point, and by some people who have a habit of taking rumors, saying that they are their own, and claiming that they are in fact what will actually happen. There are also some people who speculate based on the spoilers that have been confirmed, and then tell everyone that their speculation is in fact what will happen. We've seen that a lot as this storyline has played out.
Maybe all of the rumors on the list will happen, but that doesn't change that none of them have been confirmed yet.

^^^ I think the spumors/spoilers have been pretty accurate so far. While I think some of the dates are wrong, I think the gist of what happens is correct. I don't think Noah changes his plans is accurate though and if it is, it's on Sept 1st.
Sept 1st, I believe Luke tells Noah that he's falling in love or is in love with Reid. I think Luke regrets not having sex with Reid is before the 16th but after Reid dies of course.
The 16th is looking to be pretty much a goodbye for Luke and Noah with some talk about their history and then a goodbye kiss and then Noah leaves for LA and Luke stays in Oakdale. Pretty much it's up to the viewers to decide if Luke and Noah get back together, from what I hear. It's not explicitly said.

Seems to me that everything that's out in the last couple of days pretty much fits to what we've known and has been rumored for months. Like someone else said, most everything has been surprisingly accurate up to this point. But we'll see rather soon since it's all going to play out rather quickly.

At some point in this story, some of the same people have said that Luke and Reid would never kiss, that Luke and Noah would be kissing or having sex while Reid died, that Reid, Janet, and three other regular characters would all be on the train, and that Reid and Janet would die, that Luke would go off to LA with Noah, that Luke would tell Noah that he loves Reid, only in an attempt to get him to leave.
All of these reasons, and more, are why I think it makes sense to say what is a rumor, what is speculation, and what has been confirmed.

Agreed. - - - I think you guys have pretty much covered it all, but I will say this: jjose summed up the finale well when he said "dead, gone, or alone". That's in stark contrast to all the marriages and happiness for everyone else. Sigh.

Noah, on the 1st, will tell Luke that he wants to be with him but Luke will tell him that he's either falling in love or is in love with Reid. They will say their 2nd goodbye. Noah will leave for LA after the 3rd and final goodbye on the 16th. Noah will most likely not be mentioned on the 17th at all. Frankly, the ending does suck. Reid is dead. He had some character growth by trying to be more "human" and opening his heart to Luke. I didn't think it was too successful but that's just my opinion. Noah, who had big dreams coming into the show and came out during his time on the show and is now comfortable being gay. Now at the end seems to be starting to realize those dreams as he leaves for LA, even without Luke. Luke ends up basically where he was 3 years ago. Depressed and living with his parents. It's ironic that Luke was upset that he wouldn't have anyone to love and that's exactly how he ends the show. It's very sad, IMO.

Soap Opera Digest is confirming the spoiler about the train accident that I posted the other day. The only new info. is that before Reid leaves, both he and Luke say I love you to one another.
Just as I figured, Luke and Noah don't end the September 1st episode on friendly terms, and Luke tells Noah that he doesn't think they can be friends anymore. That's why the word "rapprochement" was used in the TV Guide interview, they weren't using it to say that the two would get back together romantically, they were using it to say that the two would renew their friendship.
I agree with Van, Luke being honest with Noah is a sign of growth, just like Noah moving to LA (if that happens) is a sign of growth. Both need to move forward, and stop acting like teenagers.
I think he was already human, there are not too many surgeons who would have found a way for their patient to pay for his expensive treatment, like Reid did for Noah. And there are not a lot who would have made it mandatory that the hospital make sure that their new wing cater to those without insurance. Not too many people in general would have done the things he did when Mick Dante went crazy at Allison and Casey's wedding.
Long ago Bob told Reid that he needed to strike a balance between work, family and friends. Reid came onto the show without any family or friends in sight, and acting like his work defined him and was all that he had. At the end, he will have friends, a boyfriend, and a surrogate father. He will have learned that he can have both a career and a personal life. There is no need to kill the character to drive this point home. He also, for what may be the first time in his life, is in love, and someone actually loves him in return.

It also says that Luke tells Noah that they can't be friends anymore.
Van says: "It's kind of like a breakup in real life. For whatever reason you have to move on. I hope the people who have been Nuke fans get to see this is a step in the character's growth. There's an understanding that's established between them that there is still love for each other."
Tuesday, Sept. 7th - Tom and Margo deliver some devastating news, and Luke is in for a big shock. "Luke goes through his first and complete utter heartbreak." says Van.
No, I don't because I don't see any character growth. For god sakes, it's only been what a month since LuRe decided to date and we are suppose to believe that this is a epic romance, after what 7 months of nothing then 2 weeks before Reid dies all this happens? ROFL. Totally unbelievable and totally dismisses anything Nuke.
Well, I'm glad I was kind of ready for that. Well, I guess I won't be watching the rest. It's a shame they had to end the show this way.

What a craptastic ending... I deeply regret ever starting to watch this show, 3 years ago. The one coming off better from all this is Noah, anyway... he hasn't been treated with much consideration while on the show, but at least he gets a sort of happy ending. He is not with Luke anymore, but he has a whole future ahead of him to fulfill his professional dreams and to fall in love again. Luke has received a terrible blow...he will move on and he will start to heal, eventually, but poor kid. Horrible end to his journey. Not to count poor Reid's destiny..finally get everything you want, just for it to be taken away from you before you can experience it. I don't know why I'm still caring... thanks, IIC!

I think Luke has been showing growth for the past few months. That scene on the roof with Noah is not something that we ever would have seen from him in the past. He was so direct and honest, and there was no hemming and hawing. He's been a lot less whiny, and less of a drama llama. The last two scenes that he had with Noah at Java, were also indicative of how much he's grown. He was honest with Noah, but not overly dramatic. He realized that he still cared for Noah, but that that didn't mean that they should be together.
Really, the growth that Luke has shown makes it more puzzling that they feel the need to kill Reid. It's not like there is actual time to show what impact Reid's death will have on Luke's life. At the most, maybe they will show Luke having some direction as far as deciding to pursue a career. Maybe, at the most, they will show Luke deciding whether he's going to hold on to a dying Reid, or let the doctors give Reid's heart to Chris.
At least they will show that both Noah and Luke have grown enough to realize that they don't need to be stuck in a teen romance for the rest of their lives, that there are other people in the world beyond just the two of them.

Van is doing his job and is trying selling the shit. I don't blame him at all. It's the show, CG and JP that should get the blame. I don't think very many (if any) nukies will be swayed by it.

SOD is confirming another one of the rumors, Reid does have an estranged uncle, who will be appearing on September 8th and 9th.
Luke is losing Reid for good, so Van's statement is very true, and understandable. I like what he said about Luke and Noah ending things for good, and he did say that it is very realistic. People grow apart, which is what we Luke and Noah have been doing for over a year.
Back to the uncle spoiler, that's spumor was given out by the same person who released several other spoilers the other night, and who said that the flash forward on the 17th, will be one month later, and that Luke will still be in mourning. She also said that Noah will still move to LA. But, we don't have confirmation on these things yet. She said that she got this information from someone who saw the scripts, and scripts can change.

As last week's scene between Luke and Noah indicated, Luke does love Noah, but he is no longer in love with him, and he doesn't want to get back together with him.
Luke and Noah didn't break up because they didn't love one another, there were serious issues, issues that Noah doesn't want to deal with, and Luke doesn't want to go back to that. Luke has seen that there are other types of relationships, not just the kind that he had with Noah, and that he is capable of finding love again.
Even after Reid dies, Luke will know that he doesn't have to stay in the same spot, and that he can find love again. I think it shows a lot of maturity that he won't use the opportunity to follow after Noah, or revert to his previous ways.

Nothing will convince some that Luke could possibly love someone who isn't Noah, even though they've been broken up for months and Luke hasn't shown any interest in getting back with Noah. Sure, he was getting over Noah and that's real. But he never actually wanted Noah back and it was in part because of his relationship with Reid. He's made that clear more than once, including last week when he told Noah that he wanted to stay in Oakdale because of Reid and that they had a serious relationship. People just think because Luke has feelings for Noah then he can't have any for Reid. The heart doesn't work that way. Not in real life and certainly not in soaps.
That said, Luke and Reid being in love does happen fast. But on this show I've seen quicker insta-romances and that was between people who weren't dating for months like Luke and Reid were.

It's curious in terms of character, Noah is the one who has a better end by far (but i really doubt Noah's fans will be happy at all). If we talk about the actors it's obvious that Jake had the worst part, he was backburned for months, and to be frank even without being exactly a Noah fan in this last storyline, i think for significance, Jake deserve to be treated way better. Like it or not, Nuke was important, their impact was very evident, and they deserve something better even if they decide to not end with Nuke as a couple. I think Luke grows during this storyline, or course it would be better if he had something more to do than being Reid's love interest (he is supposed to have a job), but for the first time he stands by himself when he argues with Noah, and that was something new.
And Reid, well, he will be hit by a train, nobody can top that.
To be honest, i think all this drama was unnecesary and it's not what the fans wanted. I really hope they did this because they think Van and Eric will recieve an emmy nomination, because if that wasn't the reason... i don't know it just doesn't look good that all straight characters get their happy ending, and all the gay ones get a sad one, because even Noah have a sad ending (yes he'll go to pursue his dream, but without Luke)
