@ivan! Liebe Grüße in die Schweiz, brookie @episode God, Chris was absolutely gorgeous today. I think he gets more and more handsome every episode. And I really loved to see, how he supported Olli at the end. There was so much love showing today... *sigh* I can´t tell, how much I love the story of those two. I hope, it lasts forever ( ok, I know, it´s a soap, but daydreaming must be allowed!!)

Gregor was busy running away from paparazzi with Luise and explaining to her his rentboy past in a church *cracks up* Oh, man! I love soaps. *sigh* How did that go for him? He met her in town at some PR event he read about in newspapers. When she noticed him she went to talk with him. The journalists saw them so they legged it and ended up in a church. Gregor asked if it is over, she said she had a lot of questions, he said he would answer everything. She asked a lot of things and then she asked how many, 20, 50? He said 100 which made Luise shout very loud in the middle of a mass:"You had 100 women that paid for you?" ;D Everybody paused, looked at them and the mass went on. They stayed after the mass and he said he had enough responsibility for the family so he left his father (addict gambler) with Christian. He found a job in a hotel and got into it through a recommendantion of one woman to her friends. He wanted money to make pilot's license. He said he was not proud of it, but was not ashamed either. But if he's not good enough for her now, then it's probably so. And then he stood up and left. So at least she listened to him

It's been bugging me. I know Olli is 28. How old is Christian?
Everyone keeps saying he's younger. By how much 5 and/or 10 years.

Ivan, thank you so much for the reply on the Gregor question. That actually sounds like a great scene! Would that I knew German! nryabenko, I'm not sure that they've ever given him an age, but I think that when Olli was 28, (and since that was a year ago, I think he's 29 now) that Christian was 23 or 24. I'm guessing this because of the name Gast84, which I simply assumed was his birth year, because that's how most people come up with numbers like that, though, of course, this is a soap and it might not have been that at all. Also, given his time in prison, which was 1.5 years, and the time since he's been on the show, he'd had to have been 19 when he achieved his Arbitur (sp?) and had just applied to sports college...la la la, anyway it puts him at around 24 or 25 now, depending on when his birthday falls. (I think he has a late April or May birthday, personally, but that's because I'm a bit crazy-cakes, and it's a long story.) flippa, LOL! Seriously!!! Hahahah!!!

Christian was Gast84 in the chatroom which I guess was supposed to show his year of birth....

christian is turning into the perfect boyfriend... understanding, caring and very, very loyal... all the stuff olli used to be... Aw, johnny, don't give up on Olli. He's just going through a really stressful time with this new business endeavor. He'll still be a great boyfriend in the end. I just know it.

He's just going through a really stressful time with this new business endeavor. He'll still be a great boyfriend in the end. I just know it. I liked what you had to say johnny, and you rhia. I actually see the turn of events as a great development. I've been the first to criticize Olli lately for being a bad partner, but I think he's making the right choices: for too long he's been the helper, and he's got to put his dreams first. Olli has a tendency to be overly blunt and honest. He doesn't communicate very well under pressure, so he has been stupid in his communications with Christian, but I have to admit -- it's probably best that Christian strike out on his own. (However, OY, this should have been a long conversation between partners. Christian had worked there for years!) On the other side, I see Christian become stronger and more mature in the helping role. He's less arrogant, and more able to listen to reason. This is so cool, as we generally associate being "helper" with being the weaker one in a relationship -- but that's just silly. (People have discussed this so insightfully in these threads; I just add a spin here.) Christian is stronger now than he ever was before. When he was the successful boxer, he struck me as being a bit spoiled by Olli's constant attention. Anyway, I completely agree with you: Olli is no longer a great partner, but he's trying to become a strong man. Also, could he be a great partner if he kept playing Christian's shadow? What I like about these episodes is that both characters show their humanity: Christian's temper (ok -- he did overreact to the flirting) Olli's bluntness/not saying things the right way But we also get them at their best: Christian's maturity and love Olli's willingness to get to the truth and be courageous.

kes, people are talking about being too invested in Ollian in the General Discussion thread because they got choked up during the hug (and I did, too), but your comment just choked me up even more. I agree completely with your pov about Olli trying to become a strong man, and Christian maturing a lot in the helper role, and yeah. *big happy sigh* The love!!! It is strong enough to weather anything!

They trust their characters, so even if they set up situations that seem contrived, they resolve them in ways that are new, different, honoring of a real love between real men. That's just beautiful to me.

This is sort of a fly-by post so forgive me if I am only repeating what everyone else has said.
Okay, while I like the fact that they make up fast - and I really really do – I think there should soon be discussion about what’s bothering them in/about each other’s behavior. Otherwise, it would feel like they are sweeping the problems under the rug and I am a bit worried about how much more of that they can do.
The best moments of the episode: Christian’s (Thore’s) expression + Olli’s near tears plead for help upon returning to No Limits.
The hug. What a beautiful, beautiful scene. The hugs lately seem more meaningful than ever (if it wasn’t for the March 13, 2008 hug, I’d say this one was the most meaningful). I was near tears, too.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Ivan. I could say more but I won’t. I just want you to know that you made me incredibly happy.

Oh, and really liked the interaction between Olli and Olivia and Christian and Judith. Mostly for the fact that there was interaction (I’ll wait for the actual subtitles to say more about them). It’s nice to see the “old” combinations.

Ivan
I'm glad that you've disabled comments on your YT account. As many times as you asked/pleaded/begged and demanded that folks not spoil you, some of those folks were very gleeful about posting the complete opposite.
I just wanted to personally thank you for all the hard work that you do. If it wasn't for you, thousands of folks wouldn't be able to experience the love story between Oliver Sabel and Christian Mann and see the amazing professional chemistry and talent that Thore and Jo have together as an on-screen couple.
Off to watch the clips. I still don't know a word of German, but I know a maturing love story when I see it and what's going on with Oliver and Christian is what I love to see in my fictional soap operas.

And how cute was Christian at the end? He may be annoyed, but he's still got Olli's back ...
