Found several pictures of Thore and Jo at Whistler on Flickr including one of Shirley. www.flickr.com/photos/7660645@N02/I just figure out these photos belong to Divinewinds. Hope you don't mind that I posted the link to your photos. These are great pictures! Thanks for the link, Final81. CJ, you are so lucky to have been that close to Jo and Thore (and Michael and Brett!). Jo and Thore like to snuggle when they have their pictures taken with their fans, don't they! Gotta love those guys so much.

hey guys, sorry for the long time not being here on this thread again.... school work. Yep, that's the site I uploaded the pictures to. www.flickr.com/photos/7660645@N02/ I apologize for not posting the link up here. I was swamped with work. :S Thanks for posting the link, final81. You can see how tiny I am..... Ahahahhahah! ;D Django13 Yesss... my gosh! Thanks so much! I really didn't think it would turn out that way. It was waaay more than I expected. Not enough I'm afraid, but let me try. First you we so afraid of something. But someone had something a large something. I'm going to guess that the someone was Shirley, as she did have a few long posts of her stories. Then something for which either you, or Jo and Thore were sorry for. Please... not you (me)?. Okay, oft to babel fish, google translate, and www.dict.cc to find out how well I didn't. No as bad as I thought, but not as good as I'd like. Need more study and practice.Very good, husky14620! Where are you studying Deutsch? I don't know much myself so I prolly have grammatical errors here and there. I've only been studying for 5 months so far. What I wanted to say was: first I was afraid if I said too much, but she has given a long report so I decided to share the wonderful experience I had. PLUS I didn't want to be ungrateful to everyone here in the board. Everyone's so nice. So I guess a little detail wouldn't hurt. Then the last line was for Jo and Thore - tellling them that if I said too much, and that I apologize. Very good, husky! Keep it up. Next time we'll be conversing in Deutsch! Hee hee hee hee! Oooooh! About the hospital thing... Yeah, Jo & Thore told me about that. He said he was in sooo much pain. Just looking at his face while he was telling me the story - ouch. Good thing there was a doctor aboard too (if i remember correctly). At first he didn't tell me it was his stomach, but when he said the medication given I was sure it was so I asked him. He said yes. you're welcome amber80, seven14, restenergy, & Sonnenschein! Yes... it was the greatest way of meeting Jo. I was afraid of how I would approach them if I just saw them in the pageant or if they did not recognize me at all... I would have to explain who I was and everything. Jo is such a sweetie (and uber good memory too) Thank you, God. Awwww, Thanks nrw! I'm really glad I was able to pull some strings together. Even if I spent quite a bit, it was all worth it. Thanks for the support you guys. It really means a lot to me. Ahihihihihihi! I have a confession to make. Ugh, I feel so bad. When I noticed Jo wearing a ring, I was like "Oh, you wear rings?" He said yes and grabs Thore and says "Thore's wearing one too". At first I thought it was sooo similar and the bad side of me thought ~ uhm... they are wearing very, very similar rings on their ring fingers.................... CUT IT OUT Cj.!!! STOP THINKING SILLY THINGS! And I just told them they had really nice rings, which they do. (i'm an accessories / clothes whore... so.... yeah) I guess it was me kinda having a wishful thinking moment. Ahahahha! I know.... Bad, bad Cj. Hey aussie54! Ahihihihihihi! Yeah, I was very lucky... Michael... he is sooo cute. Ahahahhaha! When I met him during the dinner I was like - oh gosh... who's this cutie? He's soooo tall too! I mean sure, I'm waaay younger than he is, but I can still admire his good looks. Shirley couldn't help but notice my little crush on Michael, isn't that true, Shirley? Ahahahahah! Ahehehehehe! Yes, they do like to snuggle with their fans on photos. Very nice feeling. Did you guys see the pic where Jo was blocking us off? Ahahahha! That was sooooooo funny. I was to shy to react how I normally would (by teasing him and all), but oh well.

haha..I would had to have been blind to not notice that little crush. We are talking to Jo and Thore and CJ says "call me when you guys are ready to leave"...I'll be outside talking to Michael....."... ;D Off he ran........ And don't belittle yourself with your German. You were very good. Jo kept saying.. "listen to him...and he has only been learning for 5 months!" And they were conversing in German. I pretended to not hear (In case someone asked me to say something..haha) And the one night at the bar that was for men only...now that one fun night. I was the only girl (I believe). I went to the restroom . I came out and there were men everywhere. I didn't let that stop me. I just went about my business. LOL. Got a few looks, but kept on going. It's actually a good thing that I didn't realize it was "men" only until the next day. They told Thore that, the first time that he and I tried to go in (before we found the others)...but when we came back with Jo, Todd and CJ..they let me in. So, I guess with the "hot boys" in tow..they were willing to let anyone in.

Ahihihihihihihihihihihihi! *giggles* I wonder if Jo and Thore noticed my slight crush on Michael. Hee hee hee hee!
Ahe he he he.... i wish i was better at it though. Although sometimes Jo would speak in English. It's nice, but I also wanted to practice. AHAHAHHA! I like it when he speaks in English though. Very nice accent. Thore was speaking in German with me almost all the time. It was great! Ahahahaha!
Ahihihihihihi! That's cool. I was scared that we would have to wait in line, and boy it wasn't a short line at all. At least they didn't think I was a girl unlike in the dinner where the chef and the assistants all thought I was one. WAHAHAHAHHA!

Gosh...looking at all these lovely fan pictures both at Whistler and the VL 3333 celebration with Jo and Thore makes you really want to be there. I wish that GLAAD would have invited them to the award ceremony which takes place in New York. It's right next door to me on Broadway. They also do one of those red carpet fan appreciation walks which would have me there in a second.
I did hear many fans of Ollian have written to GLAAD about recognizing them, and GLAAD are well aware but have their hands tied since the show does not appear on TV, but the Internet making it impossible for them to be recognized. Pity...since I think there would be a good turnout, and one of the few ways we may get Jo and Thore to come to North America.

Only because they've tied their own hands! If they wanted to, there is no reason they couldn't recognize them.

Oh wow! They should really have invited them. Maybe that way, the boys can get offers from North America and they could work both here and in Germany! Hee hee hee hee! That would be fantastic. More Jo and Thore for Norh America! Gosh, brownsugar... I would be sooooooooooo envious of you if they ended up going to the GLAAD with your place being next door. WOW That would be like party time with Jo and Thore all the time! AHAHAHAH

A movie studio? Verbotene Liebe is a TV show. And the GLAAD MEDIA Awards are supposed to be about MEDIA. For some reason, GLAAD seems to think that MEDIA begins and ends at the US border.

There seems like there should be SOMETHING we could do??? hummm.... One more quick little story about Thore and then I'll be quiet (I just know that I would want to hear some cute stuff if it were me). When we were looking for Jo and Todd (we didn't know that the wonderful CJ was with them), Thore thought they were at this one particular place. So, we walk there (bear in mind, it's freezing outside). We get there, it's not the place. So, in the meanwhile, while we are there, Todd texts me and tells me the name of the place where they are. I show it to Thore and the guy at the hotel where we are standing pulls out a map of Whistler and proceeds to show us where we need to go. Todd has told Thore that it is a "5 minute walk" (I am thinking..OMG..it's too cold to walk 5 more minutes...my wine has long since worn off..I'm cold now). Thore says to the guy "oh, ok, I know where it is" and he takes the map. So, out in the cold we go. Now, this is where his "hanging out in the woods and hunting came in handy, my friends. He takes the map back out and shows me "if we cut through here and go down there and he is showing me this shortcut through a parking lot and through a bunch of trees and over a frozen stream...LOL. (I am thinking..we are SOOOO going to get mugged)..he says, "we'll be there in 2 minutes!". So, my cold feet won out and I said "Ok". So, off we go. And sure enough, I'm not kidding..I followed him and like the true hunter he is...within about 2 - 3 minutes, he led us through all this stuff (and believe it or not, we actually passed people who also found the same way) and there at the very end of our venture was Todd, Jo and CJ! I couldn't believe it. His mapquesting took us right to them. Bravo for him!!! He is definitely one you want to get lost in the woods with. ;D

I never thought about this aspect of hunting. I'm lost easily, so this is a quality I have huge respect for! Go, Thore! (Especially when the guys I know usually show off and then we end up being lost together! ;D)

You know..now I can sit back and think how great that "should" have been...tramping around in the snow and freezing cold with Thore. But honestly, I was sooooo cold and he was searching for his way..ALL we were thinking about was finding that party and looking for that beautiful face of Jo's at the end of it. Ok, so maybe Thore wasn't looking for Jo's beautiful face but I was...haha.. ;D

A movie studio? Verbotene Liebe is a TV show. And the GLAAD MEDIA Awards are supposed to be about MEDIA. For some reason, GLAAD seems to think that MEDIA begins and ends at the US border. The rules are...A show has to be aired within the United States and I assume Canada since 'South Of Nowhere' is up for an award. And it's really ashame because there are foreign shows nominated such as 'Torchwood' and 'Skins' from England, but they are airing on BBCAmerica. The fact that VL airs in Germany and can only be seen by most outside of Germany on YouTube makes their eligibility null and void. Pity, since I'm quite sure VL would have been in the major runnings for an award. And can you imagine the exposure for Jo, Thore and the VL team since GLAAD is a pretty big deal which is televised with some major celebrities in attendance. Still, it would be nice if Jo and Thore were recognized for there phenomenal storyline which has become a YouTube craze and followed by fans worldwide. But I completely agree with you husky...Das Erste is a movie studio operating daily to bring us a SOAP called VL. And the Internet IS MEDIA, and becoming more of the place to go in order to watch shows. It's amazing how many foreign shows with gay story-lines can be seen on YouTube, of course none as good as Ollian. ;D I hope a time will come when GLAAD decides to include shows for consideration not only what is aired on TV, but also on the internet.

Awww! Shirley, you should have told me. I could have brought you a glass of wine or something. I was sooo excited to meet you then. Kudos to Thore for his hunting skills. I had no idea that he hunts AT ALL! I guess that explains the cowboy-ish look he had on a picture I saw in the internet. Don't worry, guys. I'm sure you'll get a chance to meet the adorable Jo and Thore. Just keep your eyes and ears peeled. If I didn't look at Gaytime's blog, I wouldn't have known that the boys would be coming up to Whistler. (Thanks Gaytime!)
